Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? I have had 2 sites produce this error box in place of the target Web Site (See Picture). I have read previous topics about this and have followed the instructions with no positive results. FYI, clearing the web site's cookies, clearing Cache and disabling Hardware acceleration.

The first was https://www.walmart.com. After leaving a "Feedback" 2 weeks ago it appears as if they were able to fix the problem. However, the site is not as important as my Medicare PPO provider. I tried loading previous versions of Firefox, but that did not help.

In both instances the LOL "support" people's response was to try a different Browser. So, I reluctantly loaded Google Chrome and it worked perfectly. From my perspective, this eliminates everything to do with my machine setup.

My IDM extension no longer seems to be the default downloader. Downloads now come via the native Windows (8.1) downloader. Can you suggest any way of resolving this issue?

I've got a legacy transformer laptop with an integrated wacom-type sensor screen. Despite all shortcomings of it's age, the laptop's got class.

The main web browser installed is Firefox ESR. In tablet mode, control was handled by the Windows - mouse-like drag'n'drop, marking, but with added scrolling gesture by swinging quickly up and down. Using it in the tablet mode is actually very practical.

Recently, after updating from 91 to 101, browser started to interpret the pen as a finger, controls became clumsy and frustrating. The only way of turning finger gestures off, parameter gestures.enable_single_finger_input described in that question (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/973974) had no visible effect. Have fallen back to 91esr, but this is obviously just a temporary solution. Is there any way to add force-disable parameter or something?

UAC notification pops up every time I try to open Firefox since last update on 5/5/22. I've deselected all options that run the program as an administrator, but it still shows up every time. I've checked that no admin is selected in both the shortcut I use and in the program itself. Any suggestions?

I searched for an official portable version of firefox and one of the first results was this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1247235 anyways this seems dissapointing since he says we should only download from official sources and at the same time there is no official portable version, can i be honest.. this sucks. You know time passed since that thread was created (3 years...) but still no offfical version, why?

All these tips must be located on a much older version of Firefox cause they ain't in my version OR they are hid under some dubious section... Hi, I spent several hours trying just to change the color of the downloads icon (thought it would take me 1 minute). First I tried to do it myself, then searched the internet. From what I found on the internet, some stuff doesn't work, some works partially and in an unexpected way, most of it is difficult to understand and modify. Finally I give up. Please, is it possible to make white the download pie and the arrow thing (when the download is finished). That's all I ask for. If possible, without using the var-- stuff, just using fill: or filter: or some other straightforward functions.

FF 110.0 - Dropdown menu in responsive design mode will not display more than 20 devices, regardless of how many are selected. Does not scroll, as in earlier versions.

Since the last FF update (115.5esr, Windows 8.1 Pro) I keep getting the following error message when I try to access one particular website:

The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to www.doordash.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have tried virtually all the solutions suggested online. I have cleared my cache, deleted cookies and site data, and I have tried to access the site using Troubleshooting mode, all to no avail. I contacted support for the particular website and they have no difficulty accessing the site with FF.

I can access the site in question with the Chrome browser, so the issue would appear to lie with Mozilla. I use this particular site frequently and would much prefer to continue to access it using it with FF, as I have done for over a year. I just installed Chrome on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC solely for the purposes of accessing this one website.

Help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

All my bookmarks have disappeared from bookmarks. I restored bookmarks in the menu folder but my bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar are still missing. How can I get my bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar back?

I just tried to open a new window using File, New Window. It is GONE. I always use that. Now all I get are New Tab New Container Tab (grayed out so I can't select that) New Private window, some other stuff.

The same is true if I right click. I get: Open Link in New Tab Open Link in New Private window.

What did I do to cause these changes?

Hey !! Mozilla, I just updated ....What happened to the compact mode for Bookmarks..Now they are double spaced they take up too much room.. Bring back compact mode or I will have to find another browser that enables a compact mode. Infuriating.

I recently had to reinstall firefox due to a few issues. Before the reinstall, when I opened a new tab it would open as my home page. After I reinstalled it, I was able to set up my homepage URL but there is no option for new tabs to open wth the same page. The only options for new tabs are blank page or the default firefox homepage. This was never an issue before the reinstall.

How do I fix this? Has the option been moved somewhere else?
