I am using Thunderbird 147.0.1 connected to an Exchange 365 service using web access. All folders except Junk are listed on the left hand pane and are synchronising to local storage.

When I go to 'Account Settings', 'Synchronisation and storage, 'Advanced' the Junk mail folder is not listed as available for se;ection.

How do I enable the junk folder to be available locally? Many thanks for ant assistance.

My emails were all working (accounts were setup fine). Then, recently, when I opened Thunderbird, the main area (where my messages are displayed) is empty. If I choose another folder, still empty. BUT, the folders all say that there are messages in them (see the attached screenshot)

I have tried the following... 1. Opening Thunderbird in Troublshooting mode: This works, and the messages appear. But I don't want to have to open troubleshooting mode every time. 2. I have ZERO extensions installed, so asking to disable them obviously wont do anything. 3. I have tried to repair the folders (I have tried to repair the default inbox folder, and then tried to repair them all ... nothing worked). 4. I have backed up my thunderbird files, and tried reinstalling Thunderbird. Still didn't work. 5. I was using a web mail client and it deleted my inbox. I have a backup of Inbox and Inbox.msf file on my local computer and keep copying it into the correct folder, but every time I start Thunderbird, it syncs from the server down and deletes all the messages in my inbox file.

How do I tell it to sync the local messages back up to the server or is there a good/better way to do it?

I'm trying to diagnose an unusual problem on a relative's computer elsewhere in the country via TeamViewer. When Firefox is initiated, the same picture (a man taking a shower) appears, and the VERY 'long URL starts with a Yahoo image file (yimg) and also contains buzzfeed.com well into that URL. I thought I could easily diagnose this, and have failed. Home page is set to blank page. I cleared all browsing data. When that failed I exported bookmarks, created a new profile, and the problem still continued, even before importing the bookmarks or adding any extensions. Something is retaining the unwanted startup behavior. Tonight, out of desperation, I will reconnect and look through the registry.

Can anyone surmise why an unwanted URL is being invoked upon Firefox startup?

Recently I’ve had a few Firefox problems on my W11 desktop. Sometimes when I try to load a website, nothing appears until several seconds (30 or more) have passed. During that time, the bottom of the screen shows the message Transferring data. Then, after that long wait, very often only a top piece (1/3 to ½) of the page appears. If I wait long enough (a minute or two), the rest of the page appears. Another problem is illustrated in the two images. When I go to AARP, I get the first image. T then press the Reload button and the second image appears. This problem is fairly recent. Previously, the first image always loaded with not problem. Any ideas of what’s happening and, even more importantly, how it can be fixed? Thanks.

The problem that is occurring with Firefox is one website American Airlines, I can not log in to my account with Firefox, however Chrome has no problem logging in. Running Windows 11 up to date Firefox 147.03 64 bit. below is the error message I get Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.aa.com/homePage.do" on this server.

Hi there, Just installed Thunderbird email. Firefox won't save my gmail password. I don't know how that is done. When I sign in to [edited from public] @gmail.com, firefox never asks me to save the password. What can I do?

docx and xlsx attached files don't open with I click on them. I want them to open in Word and Excel. Nothing happens. I have to save them to my Desktop and then I can open them.

doc and xls attached files open when I click on them.

I can't find any associations in "files and attachments". 

I'm using version 140.7.0esr (64-bit)
