Hi everyone, For the last several days I have had recurring, intermittent SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER errors when accessing Google sites (www.google.com, mail.google.com, maps.google.com, etc.) with Firefox 57 on OS X Sierra. Other HTTPS sites (e.g., yahoo, facebook, reddit) are not affected, and Google sites are accessible via Safari, and via Firefox 57 on Windows 7 in Parallels.
What's especially confusing is that the problem is intermittent. At various times some or all Google domains will become accessible again in Firefox on OSX (e.g., earlier today www.google.com was accessible, but mail.google.com was not; later on, all google domains were accessible; now none are again). This is true even within the same browser session (i.e., without closing Firefox).
Troubleshooting suggestions found elsewhere have not helped: (1) System time and time zone are correct (2) No antivirus, filtering, etc. software are installed (3) No recent changes to OSX firewall, networking configurations, etc. (4) Changing networks (e.g., at home, at work, on mobile) has no effect: the error is everywhere (5) Uninstallation (i.e., trashing Firefox from Applications) and reinstallation has no effect (6) Running Firefox in safe mode has no effect
I've included more details further below. I feel like I'm slowly losing my mind, so I'd very much appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you all!
Firefox version: 57.0.4 (64-bit) OS X version: 10.12.6 (Sierra)

So, this has only been going on for about two or three days. Suddenly the navigation tabs, specifically, on Newegg, that allow you to see product specs, feedback/reviews, etc., are no longer working in FF 58. They did work prior to the update a few days ago.
They work fine in Edge, Chrome, IE, Vivaldi, etc., but even after doing complete removal of FF including settings and registry entries, and doing a clean install of the browser, still don't work.
I've tried and done all that was requested in signing up

Recently changed phones. Since then, all gifs, videos, and stills do not appear on their own within a channel thread. They appear as a blue link, with a small "view" button. I press it, and a 2 second load time..the video appears. There can be as many as 40 videos within a thread, and I have to press view on each..time consuming. I can use desktop version, and see them all..but it is not very phone friendly method of viewing. The same problem appeared on my tablet the day my phone started doing this. Have cleared cookies while logged out..checked every setting. Just checking everywhere for advice.

I used firefox 52 ESR till that time. Now i install firefox 57, and find, what youtube now loads video for a long time, and when i pause it, and switch to play again - it start loads again. And it start reloading then the tab in the background playing. Its not the trouble with the internet connection, and in old firefox it all was allright, but now this. I made a video of this issue, the comments in russian, but i think I think it's understandable
And its clean install of firefox, with removing of old profile folder in appdata. Only adblock in plugins, screenshots:
