My most recent update is VERY difficult to understand and use. Is there any other way to ask for help with the endless really simple puzzles that this new TBird brings. I don't get any answers in this forum - or there may be answers but I can't find them. Where do users go to get quick how-to-do-it answers?

why can't I ask the actual writers of the program for help, instead of the community? The community is not in charge of writing this program, nor the cause of its problems. The programmers are!

I clicked on all your links to donate and there was never any link for me to click and put my information. Why would anyone ask for donations and have no direct link and make it so difficult to find that one just gives up on donating? I couldn't find a place to discuss topics regarding Bugzilla itself, so I'm looking in this community. If there's a better place, please tell me.

Why the hell does Bugzilla show my private e-mail address publicly (see screenshot)? That's not normal. No other online service (like Google, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, GitHub, Microsoft, etc.) publicly shows my private e-mail address that is associated with my account. How can I disable that?

If there's actually no way to disable that, I think Bugzilla is even more trash than I already thought it is. In my opinion that's standard and it should be supported, just like on any other platform on the internet. I don't like Bugzilla because it doesn't look as clear and modern as GitHub or GitLab, has a worse text/markdown editor and it seems to be lacking some useful features. It's good that Mozilla creates some competition to big tech companies but it's also valid to criticize their products if they are simply worse (which is disappointing but nonetheless, it's true sometimes).

Most other forums don't impose this type of limited categorization. What is the best way to proceed here when you topic here doesn't have an obvious fit? This is not uncommon. Should I be concerned that my question won't get to the right eyes/assistance needed?

Some venues offer the ability to add tags. Why not give us the ability to add "tags" if you believe some sort of pre-designation is necessary? Does that qualify for my choosing this topic?

Can I add your list of proper names (~5000 words) to my dictionaries and release the dictionaries as LGPL?

Gotta say I'm rather disappointed with the Mozilla support community forum here. It seems very poorly set up, unless I'm missing something. Perhaps I'm just missing the forum formatting page here.

The post form starts with asking "Which topic best describes your question" - well none of the ones offered. e.g. this question is about support, and that doesn't fit a category.

For technically literate users, often questions and posts will have code snippets etc in them, but there doesn't seem to be formatting support beyond bold, italic, links and bulleted lists? Is that right? No markdown for code?

When I've tried to paste some detailed email header info in a question it was terribly displayed which can't help getting community analysis and input.

These aren't new features for community forums. One would think them standard.

Is there a posting guide for this support forum that provides formatting info that I might be missing? Is there another support discussion page somewhere else - perhaps stackExchange is more active?

Why do I need to post my question on a forum and wait for some random internet user to answer. Why can I not ask a question of the company when their product is not functioning properly? This is really really disappointing.

In my work, I get PDF documents all the time from a trusted source, and in every case, I have to find an editor to make edits required.

The last time I searched, I could find only one free editor available, and that has disappeared from online access.

Thunderbird could benefit us enormously by providing an integrated PDF editor.

Trying to log into Amazon and Firefox is request a Passkey. I selected to log in with my usually password and the passkey request will not go away...WTF Firefox this is total bs that this type of request is being even suggested when I have a password, pin and phone verification to already login.

I cannot close the Thunderbird email app on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Android 16 One UI 8.0. The back arrow in the navigation bar no long closes the app windows. Have to use the back to home center button. Is there a solution to this problem?
