Supposedly I can set Move as an option in Display/Visible message actions or in Interaction/Swipe. I CAN set these options, but it makes no difference.

I installed Thunderbird a few days back. Initially, it downloaded messages, but now it is not checking emails automatically, and I have to open the app and push to check the email accounts. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S23 phone if it is relevant. Please help to solve the problem. Thanks.

Thunderbird does not import current messages from Gmail, it lags several hours behind. For example, Gmail will show new messages arriving at 9 am but Thunderbird shows most recent messages arriving at 12 am. I have checked settings and it seems like syncing is set correctly. Google Pixel 9a, Android v16.
