so i was using my pc (and firefox) normally, when i then turned off the machine as usual.

when i turned my pc on again and opened firefox, everything was gone, i wasn't signed in and all my bookmarks and several home url's were not there, you don't need me to tell you that's not normal.

of course, i followed the most logical course of actions, i signed into my firefox account (from which i am sending this ticket), and expected all my data to magically sync, which it didn't, so i then tried to sync in manually, looking for any backup file on my pc (i couldn't find any, though i can't say i know what one looks like so...)

hopefully this can be fixed because i had auto-sync on and it would be a bummer to lose everything and slowly rebuild my browser ui from the ground up

My passwords are saved to my android phone, and home PC but I am trying to get them into my work PC and they will not show up. I had a master password turned on briefly but it was not functioning how I wanted it (enter the master password before it would put any of the other passwords in instead of once on start up). Now I turned the master password off, sync is turned on for both the android browser and the work pc, the phone has the passwords but the pc does not.

I have profiles on desktop , i had enabled sync in all profiles when the feature was first introduced. the account icon always showed that it is syncing , but in the sync tab , no visited tab list appears of any profile in both the desktop .,, i installed firefox on the android today to check synchronization but its tabs never show in desktop profile and the android tells last synchronization never....neither the desktop tabs appear in android history

I wanted to synch my current settings in my browser to import them on my new laptop. When I tried to login to my account, I the message from the attached screenshot appeared. So I created a new profile, got my stuff back to what it should be and then deleted the "new" profile. But now every time I try to get into the correct profile and login into my account, I still get the message from the screenshot. I never ever synched with another profile before and never had an issue in the past. Right now I am rather pissed off, because I lost atleast some of my bookmarks during this whole ordeal.

I synced my data today in mozilla and after that i reinstalled windows on my PC. now i installed fresh mozilla and logged in into my account but my data is not synced... i lost a lot of open tabs,bookmarks etc... what can i do? is synced version still somewhere or what? i did everything as i supposed to do but i cant see my previous open tabs and bookmarks..

Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

Hello, All my fav and password have defaulted on new PC (none have synced over). I have no access to my old PC that i use firefox sync account (always save pw and urls). Faulty harddrive. On my new PC i forgot my Firefox password so did pw recovery with my MFA. All fine but none of my fav and passwords synced over (over 200 urls and 50+ passwords)

I still have my original recovery key there is no options to enter this after firefox login on my new PC.

Please help.

Hi there My iPhone has over 50 bookmarks and passwords saved on Firefox. I used the iPad to log on Firefox and started sync between the two devices. After 3 mins, the password page of the two devices showed “No passwords found”!

Would you please advise how I could retrieve my passwords ? Thank you so much

Hello, After performing a clean install of the OS, I logged in to my firefox account. But it is not syncing the passwords. I tried installing firefox to my phone, also not syninc. i recently had to get a new computer and had set up sync for everything however when i logged in to my new device none of my synced data was saved is there any way to get this data back i have passwords that i need that firefox forced me to use a secure generated and saved ones that i dont know

I recently switched to Linux and have been having trouble getting my bookmarks from my android device to sync to my desktop (Linux Mint). I have bookmarks enabled on the sync menu on both platforms, but I can't get them to sync over to my desktop from mobile at all; my only current option would be to painstakingly open them one-by-one from my desktop sync with the open tabs viewer (as I can't open all open tabs at once on Linux Firefox for some reason).

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just to tell me that this feature doesn't work on Linux.

I changed my password in my Mozilla account and now I can no longer sync my firefox for android.

I scan the QR code and on my android screen proceeded normal and asking me to confirm but in my desktop I get an error.

"General application error Something went wrong. Try again later."

I also tried in safe mode with no luck.

What to do now?

I reinstalled the operating system, so to speak, changed my device. I clicked the sync button and it worked. I reinstalled the operating system and reinstalled the browser. I logged in, nothing happened. I rebooted, nothing changed. I clicked sync, everything was the same. Where are my bookmarks and passwords?

I'm experiencing an issue with Firefox where my saved passwords from my desktop aren't syncing to my Android phone. Pressing the "Sync Now" button doesn't trigger any action. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including removing and readding the device, force stopping the app, clearing cache and data, and manually syncing again, but nothing has worked. It seems like a bug. Any suggestions?

I have 3 devices connected to Mozilla account, 2 smartphones and 1 PC and NONE of them are syncing properly, bookmarks sync perfectly and everything else fails miserably. Some part of history does sync but nowhere near the full history. Syncing of open tabs is *completely* broken.

Hello there! I have Firefox on both my (Windows) laptop and (IOS) mobile device. Several months ago (January or February, maybe?) I had to delete Firefox from my laptop and reinstall it to fix an issue. No big deal. However, whenever I check my synced tabs on my mobile device, it still shows the tabs from before I uninstalled it on my laptop as well as the taps currently opened on my laptop. It appears as if they're two separate devices. I already checked the "Connected Services" section of my account settings, and my laptop does not appear twice. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of how to remove the previous version of Firefox from appearing on sync on my mobile device. TIA for any help!
