Hello, I just wiped windows and lost my bookmarks, passwords, and the like. I looked into the support options, as well Firefox profiles (about:profiles) but can't seem to get that data back. It's odd to me that it didn't sync because I also wiped windows last month and it recovered all of my data as soon as I signed into my Firefox account,so I was hoping that would happen again.

Any way to get this back?

I thought that synchronization would save my data so that I could prepare my PC for reinstalling Windows. As a result, after all the procedures and installing the Browser, synchronization does not restore my data. It's very disappointing. And the history of old sessions is completely erased.

Deleted the app then reinstall it and logged in but there's no passwords no bookmarks no collections no nothing, Is there absolutely no way to recover my old bookmarks and passwords?

Tried looking through the topics but didn't find an answer

What's the point of having to sign in and make an account if everything going to disappear just because I deleted the app and then reinstall it?

Hi, I know this is a long shot but I'm wondering if it's possible to sync downloads across Firefox devices. I lost my phone recently and I had a LOT of downloads on it that I couldn't backup to the cloud. Is it possible to somehow make those available through another device, like my laptop that has Firefox?

I've been trying to get this computer to work. The last time a clean install was done a few days ago Firefox immediately remembered my favorites, extensions (or one important one of them) and the configuration of the browser.

I know this is dumb, but I cleared my iMac's cache and nuked my entire history, password and bookmarks. This is catastrophic :( Can you please assist with any steps that may be able to allow me to recover this data? I have icould and it's synced, and I have a Firefox account but I cannot seem to find any way of restoring or accessing some backup. Please advise. Thank you!

I have to do a clean install of Windows, how do I save all my firefox bookmarks and passwords as well as Thunderbird addresses and any other info I might want to import back into Firefox and Thunderbird once I've installed windows again.

My main pc is not working anymore. I opened up an old one but I have the bookmark from last year on it even after syncing. I wanted to retrieve my bookmarks from the pc that crashed. I went to my firefox app but now even there the old bookmarks are sync.

How can I retrieve a previous syncronisation from IOS app? On the PC i can restore a old version but the one that I have on my PC are from a year ago. Can I retrieve a more recent sync or back up from the IOS app?

I'm not sure I have the right topic as I didn't see what I will try to say. The problem is when I send an email (googlemail), I cannot insert a photo/picture in the email. The only thing I can do is attach which I do but want it inserted too. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is now to the point where I have to use another browser to get it to work as it should. Any ideas why?

So.... I ended up getting a new laptop and I signed in on my mozilla account and it turns out I have lost everysingle bookmarks/saved stuff / passwords etc....

Now... the thing is I do not have my old laptop anymore cause it doesn't even turn on.. I did not make a backup cause I thought all this information is saved online...

What do I do now to get my old stuff back???

I am reaching out to report an issue I am currently facing. I recently changed my device, and upon attempting to sync my Mozilla Firefox account on the new device, I noticed that all my data—including bookmarks and saved passwords—appears to be missing.

Please note that my previous device is no longer in my possession and has been formatted, so I no longer have access to the original data.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in recovering my data and saved logins, as many of them are not stored in any other browser.

Hello there. I had to recently wipe my computer on 4/12/2025. I forgot to sync my bookmarks and passwords. Is there any way I can possibly get these back? I don't know how far back Mozilla itself keeps files, I've been told they do but I'm not sure how far back.

Hi, I just switched laptop< I no longer have my old one. I thought I'd just have log in to Firefox to recover all my information, like bookmarks and saved passwords, but now that I'm logged in, I can't find any of that. Is it possible I didn't save it? Can you help me recover it?

Hello, my computer crashed and needed a fresh install. I installed Firefox on a fresh drive, rest the password as I couldn't remember it on the first try (I now know what is but it's already reset) and it shows me 0 bookmarks, 0 saved passwords, 0 data and keeps reminding me to "finish setup" by importing bookmarks from another browser but my bookmarks were on Firefox.. After password change I was kicked out of my FF account on my phone so all the data is still intact on my phone. I haven't logged in my phone yet. How should I proceed to restore them on my pc and sync the to bookmarks from my phone and not the other way around?

i reinstalled windows and re downloaded firfox i logged into my firfox account like a normaly doo to get all my data but non of my data is getting synced it always works but it is not working no i need my data i have my passwords to all my account on it pls help
