I'm baffled by the statement of my Browser being managed by my organization since I am a single, non connected entity and have no organization, nor do I want one. I want control since I'm the one paying for it's use. Can you explain how to return control to me and only me? Thanks, KG

Somehow, an additional field has been added to my new message page which contains a bar with information on paragraph. fonts bold, text formation , etc. I do not want this there as I can not send the new email and I can not remove it. I just want to go back to thae way it has always been (default)

I'm a bit out of ideas how I can get Firefox to display the correct characters. For reference: https://learnjapanese.moe/font/

Windows: I only have german and japanese locale installed, i even changed in intl.cpl the language to japanese. I have installed the japanese language pack / fonts and it's showing correctly in any windows editor.

Firefox: Second language set to japanese, disabled all addons, tried it on private mode to no success.

Any ideas how I get the characters to display?

Edit: I made it work by changing in about:config the font.cjk_pref_fallback_order-string to have ja as first.

I can change font size in general via Firefox settings, BUT! whenever I want to download a file from any given website, the download window that appears, in which I can navigate to a folder on my computer and choose a name for the file, has such super small font!!! And to make it worse, the text largely is in a soft gray rather than a nice strong black!

SO hard to read.

I would love an easy way to make this font always bigger for all these situations. If anyone can provide the solution I'm super grateful!

I can only open my emails by right clicking it and opening in new window. Also keeps asking for password every time I go on Thunderbird. Have tried solutions on the help pages and online for both problems but not much use. Some things on account settings and security are not there to select. Is it correct that if I uninstall Thunderbird and then reinstall it the same problems will be present?

I have just started using Thunderbird and I'm trying to change the default colour for a hyperlink.

I have tried about:config -> browser.anchor_color and browser.active_color but neither has worked.

I also tried using a user.js file but that didn't work either.

I would have thought this would be a fairly basic thing but it seems to be impossible.

Recently did clean install of OS Sequoia and then all my apps, etc. Installed Firefox and noticed I had no horizontal or vertical scroll bars, (right side and bottom of browser page). I had do I get those turned on. I use a Wacom Cintiq 32 Pro and the pen so not using a mouse with a scroll wheel. Thanks.

It is very very hard to find new message. Years ago was so easy. Now it is near impossible. Must select special filter to view only unread. TB suppose to make it easier, not harder.

To change color of text or background is impossible. Once I found that must choose the color and close color changer. I did it once and again no way it works. Toooooooo complex. Even when I see the chosen color, and close two not one windows choosers (why two?). Again it is eeeextreeemly hard and often impossible to change color of text.

Please I want to remove Ai from Firefox Mozila permanently on Windows 11 for all users/profiles:

I tried a lot of workarounds but they are unsuccessfully: I tried to create extensions (Hide Gemini, AI Google Overview), but they do not work for all users; only profile-based extensions are supported. I tried to use preferences using internal settings on Firefox, but it does not apply to all users. I tried using a script on PowerShell for all users merging internal preferences, but it does not work I copied the local and roaming settings from Firefox to the Default profile, but it was unsuccessful.

I also tried to remove "All" from the search page, but I moved the seach to go to the tab "Web" only.

Please tell me how to make changes in settings to thunderbird appearance between sessions. I set Thunderbird to use the "table"format for incoming messages and it says "Views updated and installed" or something like that.My choices do not stick, and T-bird reverts back to some default view i do not like. This started when I installed a T-bird upgrade to automatically add new functions monthly.

1) How do i make my changes stick? 2) Or is this a bug that will be fixed in the next update? 3) Something else.

Periodically I open Friefox and all my cookies have been deleted. I go into settings to find "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" has been checked (NOT BY ME!) again. This is very annoying as I then have to log into all my websites and go through 2FA. This is annoying to the point that I am posting on this site for help. Next step is find a new browser that doesn't screw up my work-flow randomly for no reason.

I created an email signature with Wisestamp. I use Gmail. In the web version of Gmail the signature appears properly, including the animated gif. I took a screen shot of the signature and attached the signature from a file. It looks fine but the animated gif doesn't work. I'm incredibly challenged with all of this. Not even sure if what I'm trying to do will even work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Connie Pyke

in Firefox focus, DuckDuckGo is my default search engine. Whenever I do a search, I always have to turn safe search off unless I want to limit the results as if I need protection.

This is an annoyance. Is there anyway to change this default so that whenever I reopen Firefox focus “safe search” will ALREADY be off? I know I can change it during each session (a i think of it), but that is extremely annoying and I don’t always remember to do so.

When I click on Bookmarks, all I see are the following:

What happened to the entry that shows my bookmarks ?

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. I have intentionally given you specific numbers. Based on my software- and test-engineering experience, I speculate you need to create a stress test to solve this nagging problem.

Where can I find the settings for filters in Thunderbird for Android? I could import all my accounts with many folders from my desktop, but the filters do not work on my smartphone the way they work on my desktop.
