A delete button is not available for the 'read message' pane. In the older versions of TB around v60, I could have the same toolbar in the inbox and all the panes. Is there a way to resolve this annoyance. I had the upgrade to a later version because MS changed the security settings from 'Normal Password' to 'OAuth2' which apparently does not work with TB v60. Thanks for any help. I have been using TB for many years. btw, I also miss having the 'Account Colors' extension which is not available (or compatible) with the later TB versions.

What are these new columns which suddenly appeared? From (CB), Recipient (CB), and Correspondents (CB)

I've never used them and can't imagine allowing them to clog my message headings so I uncheck them when I find them.

Hi all I like to show the bookmark toolbar in fullscreen mode. I have enabled "show always" but it does not show in fullscreen mode. On old firefox versions i could create a userChrome.css file and then it worked. But it looks like this is not possible with never (130.0.1 ATM) versions. May be the code has changed? Maybe someone has a solution how to show bookmars in fullscreen.

I recently installed 128.10.2esr (64-bit) on a Win11 computer. There's no option under "View, Toolbars" for it. Was it removed in this version or am I missing something?

That the common advice. Never works for me. If it was actually going to work, wouldn't it be when you originally create the bookmark?.

Having these favicons saves time, makes you workflow easier. Am I correct that the problem is with the given website making it available?

I just updated to version 140.0 and now my subfolders are out of order. Is there a fix for this, short of fixing it manually? I miss how they were automatically alphabetized. That went away when manual reordering was implemented. I can't grab a bunch at the same time and move them, since the order is so messed up.

Now it's completely impossible to open PDFs outside Firefox, as I could do until the last couple of beta versions.

This trend is going on since a few years ago, from bad to worst. The whole design of the PDFs download process is bad. PDFs should be treated by FF as any other file: download and open with the system default PDF viewer. Imposing Firefox's internal PDF viewer as mandatory for downloaded PDFs is nonsense.

I have a number of email addresses. One "Live" will allow incoming emails but not outgoing. The others work as they should. Can you offer settings suggestions to help the "live" account send emails. It worked fine for months, then stopped. It is set at OAuth2. On Windows 11.

I'm running Windows 10 and recently switched from the ESR Channel version (128.11.1) to the Release Channel version (139.0.2) and, since then, have started having a problem where the unread email count displayed on the system tray icon and also the count on the Taskbar icon are no longer correct. Most incoming, unread emails aren't counted. This feature has always worked correctly for me previously, ever since I first installed Thunderbird several years ago. When I go into Thunderbird, the count of unread emails in whatever folder they're in is still correct, the problem is just with the counts on the taskbar and tray icons.

I'm not 100% sure, but I *think* it might be the case that emails which end up in the default "Inbox" folder are added to the counts, but those which are automatically allocated on arrival to other folders on the basis of filter rules aren't being added to the counts displayed on the icons. I have searched for others reporting the same issue and haven't been able to find anything, so it seems unlikely that it's a bug. I'd greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue please.

Hello, I have enabled the Thunderbird dark mode. My expectation was that all messages in the message list are displayed in white on a dark background.

Unfortunately, the message list often uses a black font on a dark background.

I changed the color in the message pane using settings --> Colour

I followed the instructions/workarounds here for using dark theme, including reset and troubleshoot mode. https://support.mozilla.org/sv/questions/1439922

But it did not help. Maybe you guys can help.

Seeking knowledge if possible, on how to import email sub-folder contents from another email provider (in this case, 'The Messaging Company') into Thunderbird. The "Import Tool" in Thunderbird appears limited to only a few sources that it can import from, however I'm unsure if there is another way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can I build my own version of Thunderbird for Android from the Github source? There is a (ridiculous) shortcoming in Thunderbird and also K-9 that seems trivial to fix. Indeed, K-9 does occasionally fix it, only to remove the fix in subsequent versions.

I have some experience with creating Windows applications from Github code, but have no idea how to build an Android app ...

The text size of all my menus is so small I have to squint to read them. Surely there is a way to make that text larger?

I found a post where it said to go into General and then way down to the bottom and click on that Config box. I did that but what was supposed to be there as stated in that post was not there so I didn't go any further with that.

I've got to do something to make it larger. Please help if you can.

Ed - Thanks for that thread. Since I posted my question originally (and can't find where just now) I did try one add-on called STOP AUTO RELOAD by kgersen and I'm trying that. I couldn't understand how to add the particular address I wanted to use it on, but it's helping on FB without having entered FB's addy. Most of the time it stops the refresh. If I leave it too long tho, when I come back it does refresh, but at least it isn't refreshing while I'm trying to read it. The annoying blue label "refresh" still comes on my page, but I ignore it.

How come i dont see my recent history in each new tab i open ???

I mean all the site i just visited already listed and showed on each new tab you open, this is so obvious i still dont understand how come it is not an automatic setting.

thunderbird working perfectly yesterday but today i received a message that the app is damaged - please move it to the bin ! i have lost my entire email history and settings when i try to import from my previous profile i get a message saying "import failed unexpectedly" i am now left with the bare bones of a new installation... is there any way i can get back everything that used to be there ?

Hi. I have followed the instructions on the Mozilla site above however this does not work. The Enterprise Roots keep reloading after a while.

Any idea how to stop this happening?

I have read many articles on this but nothing works. The E Roots will in initially not reload but eventually after a day or three its back.
