Since the mentioned update my bookmarks no longer appear in their set order and sometimes desktop bookmarks aren't visible at all. On one occasion, an element on my desktop bookmarks was displaced upon merely checking if it was there on the tablet.

I cleared cache & app data and reinstated sync TWICE on the tablet. Immediately afterwards the bookmarks restored their expected behaviour, but each time, after closing the app and reopening, they were either haphazardly jumbled or not visible in the menu at all.

I have firefox on a Windows 10 laptop plus two android phones and two android tablets. The Bookmarks on the laptop, both tablets and one phone are shown in alphabetic order. The Bookmarks on one phone are in random order. How can I make these Bookmarks list in alphabetic order? I have read that I cannot simply reorder the bookmarks, so I probably need to delete the bookmarks, ON THIS PHONE ONLY and definitely not on my other devices. Then would "Sync” import the Bookmarks from "the cloud"? Or would "Sync" export the now-empty "Bookmarks" folder from this phone to the cloud?

Firefox browser on android phone. How can I restore my Bookmarks to their previous alphabetic order? They have changed from alphabetic to totally random order within each folder.

I would like to swap the order of the first 2 items on the Bookmarks Context Menu - that is "Open in New Tab" should be second, and "Open in New Window" should be first.

I'm able to do this on the "regular" context menu with the following code...

But I cannot find the correct selector for the Bookmarks Context menu (see attached image).

I have tried code (to no avail) such as the following...

My bookmarks in Firefox Android are not sorted as they are with my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows. The problem started about 4 to 8 weeks ago.

What needs to happen to have Firefox Android sort my bookmarks the same way as my Firefox Linux and Firefox Windows, please?

In the last approx 3-4 weeks, Firefox bookmarks on Android and PC have *not* remembered alphabetical sort choices on PC. I cannot sort (and remember) bookmark toolbar alphabetical sort order on PC and I cannot sort and remember bookmark alphabetical sort on Android, synced with the PC. My bookmarks on both PC and Android are arranged in some haphazard way that "sorting by name" under Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / Bookmarks Toolbar / Views / Sort / Sort by Name momentarily changes but does not persist to the next time I view. The next time I view the sort of the bookmarks toolbar, it is always "unsorted". Again this has only been an issue in the past 3-4 weeks.

Firefox has recently gone haywire with the order of my bookmarks on Android mobile.

About a week ago bookmarks were listed randomly whereas they should be in alphabetical order. Re-installing seemed to solve the problem, but just now the problem has recurred, this time with odd bookmarks at the top of the normal list.

Is this connected to the recent update?

There are only available sort "A-Z", 'Z-A', -"newest" and "oldest"

This is very inconvenient, because all of those are inconsistent with desktop Firefox, where manually sorted.

Please add possibility to apply sorting, same as on desktop.

I hope this message finds you well.

I have about 800 bookmarks spread across four different groups in Firefox for Android. While I am really happy that the latest Android version (138) now allows sorting bookmarks by "New to Old," I would love to see the ability to manually adjust the bookmark order through a long press and drag feature.

Being able to arrange bookmarks manually would significantly improve my experience managing such a large number of bookmarks. I truly appreciate the improvements you've made so far and hope that you will consider adding this feature in a future update.

My phone died and when I turn I back on all my bookmarks and folders are no longer ordered properly in the bookmarks menu, but when I go to create a new folder I can see that they're still in the same order. How do I go about putting them all back into the order they were in before?

When a page is already bookmarked, the Edit bottom should bring up the edit dialog.

When I bookmarked then edited the following URL, either via the temporary pop-up notification, or via the menu later, Firefox just shows me a blank screen:

I can hit the back button twice and I get the rendered page view back.

This is surprising because other websites' bookmark editing seems to function ok. Is there some suspicious interaction happening between this Discourse-hosted website and the edit UI? Can anyone repro? Attached is all I see.

Maybe my phone gas issues but I have been using Mozilla for so long, I have acquired many bookmarks. I can't save anymore because mu list is so long & tiresome. It nees a drop-down tab to better organize. Might I also suggest a way to alert owners that there is a page they haven't seen in a long time. Also an organizer that is automated.

You often have different needs on your phone to your tablet or desk top or work computer. While you probably want to sync all your passwords across devices. you might prefer different bookmarks on your toolbar for work versus home versus phone.

It would be great to be able to sort bookmark groups separately between devices.

So my work bookmark toolbar has 8 bookmarks my home desktop bookmark toolbar has a different 13 bookmarks my ipad has 9 bookmarks similar to my home desktop my phone has 5 bookmarks i NEED quick easy access to on-the-go.

Personally i have a different firefox accounts for work and home. But I don't really want ANOTHER firefox account for my phone, since i want all those passwords always synced across all my devices.
