I've been using Firefox for a good few years now, on my computer as well as my mobiles. After the latest update for my IOS (144.1 or 62735) and I've always loved the inactive tab system. I've noticed that some users have not shared my appreciation for it but as it has now been seemingly removed, (and I am unable to find anywhere in settings to toggle it back on) my tabs are now too many to efficiently traverse. Finding a specific tab is almost impossible.
Some of you may say, "Hey Truck, that's a you problem," and you'd be completely right! However since I do keep a lot of tabs on my mobile open and I don't close them down (because I usually go back and use them after the alloted 14 days) this is now an issue for me.
Wall of text aside, is there any chance that I may have overlooked in settings where to turn it on, and if not, could I please ask for that feature? Specifically Firefox IOS.
Many thanks, Truckmaster

Hello Mozilla Support Team, I am writing because my primary email address associated with my Mozilla/Firefox account has been compromised and I no longer have any access to it. Unfortunately, this prevents me from performing basic account management tasks. Specifically: • I would like to add and verify a new email address (*censored@outlook.com) as a secondary email so I can later promote it to primary. • However, when trying to add any secondary email, Mozilla sends a verification code/link to the current primary email address — which I cannot receive anymore. • As a result, I am completely locked out of updating or securing my account, even though I can still log in with my password (and possibly 2FA if set up). My new desired primary email is: *censored@outlook.com I have read the official documentation (e.g., https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-primary-email-address-firefox-accounts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information), which states that changing the primary email without prior secondary email setup is not possible for security reasons when the old primary is inaccessible. Questions: 1. Is there any exception, manual verification process, or alternative recovery method available in cases of compromised/lost primary email access? (For example, through identity verification, account recovery key if I have one, or support-assisted change?) 2. If no recovery is possible, can you please confirm that creating a brand-new Mozilla account with *censored@outlook.com is the only remaining option, and advise on how to best migrate my synced data (bookmarks, passwords, history, etc.) if still accessible on my devices? I understand the security implications and that Mozilla prioritizes protection against unauthorized changes — I just want to regain full control and secure my data properly. Thank you very much for your help and any guidance you can provide. Best regards, Francesco Intini
I can’t sync my iPhone to my website browsers, I can’t find the QR code scanner on my iPhone.
When I opened the app to search online, it takes me to Google search. I’m not sure why this is happening and appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

Ever since the update to iOS 26.4, I’m unable to access insecure or untrusted sites. I first noticed this when trying to get to some devices on my local network, but I tested an insecure site on the internet and it happened there too. What’s weird is that Safari does still let me access these sites after proceeding through the warning as expected (albeit with a refresh which is new, maybe a bug), but Firefox will just load for a split second and stop.
Just a quick rundown of some additional info:
- Firefox has been updated to the latest version, 149.0. - The local sites are ones I’ve previously given trust to - Firefox has local network access enabled in settings - This also occurs on iPadOS 26.4 - I did some more testing while writing this and it seems intermittent? For example, I have a server with several docker containers, and I can access some of them if I put the port in with the IP but others I can’t. I also have a device that I can get to via hostname but not IP. - I also downloaded Chrome to test things there and I get the “this connection isn’t private” message with the option to proceed anyway, and I’m able to access these sites there.
I’m not sure if this is something on Firefox’s end, Apple’s end, or a combination of the two. Either way, I wanted to see if there was anyone else experiencing this issue or if it’s just me.

I am running an iMac Catalina 10.15.7. Since Firefox just updated itself my system keeps crashing so bad that I have to do a hard shut down. Yesterday I had to do this over a dozen times to get through my session. Firefox was the last browser compatible with my Mac. Is this no longer the case?

Hi - I’m experiencing that the Firefox app on my iPhone (iOS) has a bug where it’s causing it to automatically switch search engines from the search engine I have set in settings to another one that I have disabled. It’s becoming extremely annoying & frustrating that I have to go in and reset it every time it does it - which is close to four times a day. Also I’ve noticed that I can no longer delete search engines I don’t use. Please fix.
