How can we get rid of the invasive blue pop-up on iOS? Every time I get a tab I want to close, often ads I'm trying to avoid, I get this big blue banner that takes way too long to go away asking "undo closed tab" and ... I never want to undo but it's so frustrating having to wait for it to go away or switch tabs to get it to close faster. Why are they doing this to us? I'm switching to a different browser just to avoid dealing with it and it won't be safari.

Default search is reset to Google every time I close and reopen Firefox. How do I make Firefox remember my choices? I am setting Brave to be the default search.

iOS 26 / Firefox 143.0.1 When trying to delete “all site data” under settings - data management, nothing actually happens although the stored sites disappear at the moment. But when closing and opening the browser again I find the “deleted” site data still there. It only seems to work if I select a few specific sites and hit delete data.

143.1 updated onto my app this morning and now the app refuses to load. It opens for a second and sometimes begins to show the browsing interface and then it immediately crashes. All subsequent attempts to open the app have failed. I've deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted my phone and that has not fixed the issue.

Need to download Firefox for iOs 12 (specifically 12.5.7 on an iPad Air). I saw advice that gave a download page on a Mozilla site but the address given did not work. The iPad is not able to accept a newer iOs. Is there still such a download somewhere?

Firefox iOS updated this morning to 143.1 In private browsing it’s in dark mode automatically and won’t change even if changing to light in the settings.

A few weeks ago, concurrent with the release of iOS 26, Firefox pushed an update for iOS and iPadOS (possibly Android too) which no longer shows the full URL in the address bar when it is not in focus. There is no option to toggle this on or off in the settings. I understand this was a change made in Chrome long ago that they say improves the security for users due to phishing sites, etc.

I would like for this to be an optional feature. It is especially frustrating when using a search engine, as I will have to tap the address bar to check what my search term was if I am halfway down the results.

How to add shortcut icons (to web pages) to the Focus home page while using phone. NOT to the phone Home Page, but to the page that opens when I start the browser.

A little square used to pop up when I clicked on the searchbar on my iPhone, but it seems to have stopped doing this with the latest release. Can anyone please help me find it, or if it has gone, then please confirm to me?

I can still open QR codes by opening the Camera App first, but the Firefox QR code reader was always easier to use, and I just like it more!

Hello! After the recent Firefox update, there’s no longer a home button in the task bar. Is there a setting on the iOS app to get this back? I miss having the ease to change a page immediately to my home page, without having to open a new tab and close the old one. Thanks!

What is Mozilla waiting for to improve their browser for iOS? By them allowing add-ons to work on iOS, they could gain significantly more market share, which they desperately need.

And I know extensions on iOS is possible because there’s a new browser that’s come out that allows you to install Firefox and Chrome extensions. Some are buggy, but it still works. It’s called Orion browser.

If Mozilla did it, they could probably come out with a better version.
