Just recently I am no longer able to use Bing.com to search with. Being it is my preferred source of searching for me. Google is awful for my purposes.

I'm currently on Firefox Developer Edition version 136.0b6, and for some reason the search bar no longer displays the https:// header. Is it possible to turn this back on?

iOS Firefox, using DuckDuckGo as search engine. When Firefox refreshes after a pause in browsing, instead of going to DuckDuckGo, it goes to "www6.duckduck.com/lander…" which advertises online games etc. Why does this happen?

Steps to reproduce the problems:

Perform a Global Search (ctrl + K). Search for any string. Just make sure there is at least one search result. > Click "Show results as list". > Right-click on the search result in the Message List Pane. (Please see the footnote.) > The pop-up context menu has two problems:

(1) There are redundant dividers. (Please see the first attached image.)

(2) Hover the mouse over "Tag". The pop-up submenu of "Tag" is incomplete. The menu includes "New Tag" and "Manage Tags". However, "Remove All Tags", "Important", "Work", "Personal", "To Do" and "Later" are missing. (Please see the second attached image.)

These problems (redundant dividers and incomplete submenu) also occur in Troubleshoot Mode.

These problems only occur after using Global Search and clicking "Show results as list".

If I right-click a message in the Message List Pane of a regular folder (such as the "Inbox" folder or "Templates" folder), the pop-up context menu displays correctly: There are no redundant dividers, and the submenu of "Tag" is complete. (Please see the third attached image.)

Operating system: Windows 10.

Versions of Thunderbird: 140.3.1esr (32-bit) and 140.6.0esr (32-bit). Previously I was using 140.3.1esr (32-bit), and currently I am using 140.6.0esr (32-bit). Both versions have the same problems.

The fifth attached image shows mailCommon.js:647.

When is do a search in Firefox I noticed that it now searches with "rini.drorinat.com" is this still Firefox or have I been violated? I tried to look up this site but no success, could you help with this asap please?

I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox to my iPad. I keep seeing DuckDuckGo as my browser. I want to change my search engine to Firefox but I don’t see Firefox as a listed search engine that I can choose from. Does Mozilla have its own search engine? I don’t want to use the other listed choices such as Google or Bing.

I have been using Firefox and Duck duck go to search. This morning I could not search and duck duck and was requested to I download Duck duck go as browser. Now I can't search except in Google. Help. I plan on uninstalling the Duck duck go browser. What is a good private search engine?

Previously, on Firefox iOS, I would tap on the URL bar, type a search query, hit enter, and I would immediately navigate to the Google search page.

Now, in-between hitting enter and navigating to the Google search page, there is a multi second delay.

Looking to disable Google iOS app from opening when I use the search/address bar at the top of the Firefox iOS browser. I like having the app for using photo search, but other than that, I prefer searching in the browser window. If this is not possible to disable, can it be built in to future Firefox updates? Thank you.

I've reinstalled and updated Firefox on my iPhone 15, but still there's a Google logo in the search box, not Firefox logo. I hate Google and don't want it in my searches.

Why is it there and how can I get rid of it?

iPad iOS 26 Firefox Focus (FFF) and Magic Keyboard (MK) — Cannot use search field after upgrading to iOS 26 — need to disconnect iPad from MK, then use on-screen keyboard, then reconnect MK and then can type with MK — that is more likely an iOS 26 bug, but it is effecting both FFF and regular iPad Firefox.

On android, it is possible to change the search engine of the search bar on the home screen. There you can select a Search Engine App, like Google, Qwant or Startpage.

However, Firefox is currently not available as a selectable option there. Adding it there would make it possible for those searches to be handled by firefox.
