I completed an update on Firefox and all of the passwords I had saved are gone. I have tried checking for alternate profiles, but that did not work. How can I recover my passwords?

I accidentaly deleted my profile. How can I get back my data, passwords to accounts....Is that all gone now???? Somebaody please help me clarify this situation. And why does firefox insist on these profiles anyway, I just want to open my browser use it then close it, simple. Now since the last update I saw a wierd circle on the firefox launcher and thought it meant nothing. When i deleted the profile literally EVERYTHING is gone. Who does this, what did the profile even help????? Somebody please help

I have firefox on my Samsung tablet, it began holding onto tabs, looking weird so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Now I've lost all of my bookmarks and cannot see a way to get them back.

I woke up this morning and opened firefox. Normally it opens the days previous tabs and this morning it didn't. When I tried 'restore recent tabs' it didn't do it. When I went into history and found the previous day's back up and tried to restore it also failed. Can you help?

I put in my bookmarks under my name and create sub directories for different groupings, like Canadian news, solar etc. The bookmarks within the subgroups stay for a while. I cannot say for how long. Sometimes a day sometimes longer. The bookmarks disappear and are replaced with what I would call the global network symbol. This has never occurred in windows 10 of which I still use. It appears to be an issue with windows 11. Please any help would be useful. It is getting extremely annoying having to replace the bookmarks all the time.

I hope you can help me. My Dell laptop crashed, I had to restart the laptop with a Microsoft recovery key. When I opened Firefox I had to log in again with my password. Firefox told me that the password was wrong, I am not sure if I typed in the Firefox recovery key as well. I changed my Firefox password. When Firefox opened my bookmarks were gone and I can not find backup file when following the Firefox 'import bookmarks' link in the bookmark bar.

I use the most up to date Firefox program. I needed to reinstall windows from scratch so backed up my files using the Firefox Backup option. When i try to restore the files, it restores only 2 bookmarks, 1 called Learn More, and another, a folder called How to Restore, and in it a book mark called Download. The bookmark just takes you to the Firefox home page. I dont know what to do.. there are bookmarks I need, so hope someone can help. Attached is an image of the file Firefox Created.

Hi folks, I restarted Firefox today on my Macbook and now the Restore Previous Session option is no longer working. I've tried the Sessionstore fix described here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-restore-browsing-session-backup but it is not doing the trick. I've used it multiple times in the past and it has always worked up until now.

I've since opened a couple of new tabs and then shut Firefox down to see if the Restore Previous Session will bring those particular tabs back. However the Restore previous session remains greyed out. I suspect it may be to do with the latest update to 149.0.2. I downloaded and installed that two days ago, but only restarted this morning so I think the update would have been done then. Are there known issues with this update, and is a fix coming? after my laptop crashed (again did so over 100 times) but this time all history is gone, could not restore last session/s - can't log into my accounts (any) - can't set it to an earlier date (e.g. yesterday) to eliminate whatever the problem is (am not an IT expert, so I don't know how - just know that it is possible) - I have tried for 4 hours - no avail - I really need the status of 4-5 hours ago so I don't lose so much

What happened, All my important bookmarks are missing. I have had to log into every account I have, No saved passwords. Really upset. I need help to restore all this information that I need

i open firefox today on my phone and all is gone ! my bookmarks, appearance, choices.... it is as if i've just installed firefox for the first time today if i synchronize i will loose a lot of things for i didn't open another session on a computer since 15 days

Android phone version 10. I use Firefox browser. A few days ago I cleared cache and Data. Now I have Lost bookmarks, etc. Is there a way for me to restore my Firefox browser? Thanks Danny.

Firefox hat am Donnerstag auf meinem Windows 11 - Laptop ungefragt ein Update veranstaltet und sich neu gestartet. Wie komme ich jetzt an die Inhalte der vorher offenen Tabs? Bei Edge konnte man "alle wiederherstellen" anklicken, hier habe ich sowas nicht gefunden, Chronik ist leer.
