I use FF on a 2012 PC running Windows10. I was going to replace the computer, but a tech shop nearby has recommended (without seeing my computer) updating the hardware within. I have a lot of passwords stored in FF, and I should like some advice regarding protecting privacy by saving them and reusing them on the refurbished computer. Any other comments about refurbishing as opposed to replacing would be welcome.

Cannot clear browsing history. Delete page does not work. Clear recent history does not work.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I think it automatically imported everything which was not desirable in this case.

Do not have account or sync so it is not pulling from either of those places

AI chatbot: Does the text I write and highlight in Firefox automatically get recorded even if the AI it is turned off?

I noticed that even if the AI is turned off, the check box for  "Show prompts on text select

Displays a shortcut to prompts when you select text. Firefox sends the text, page title, and prompt to the chatbot." is always checked and greyed out.

What gives Firefox folks of knowledge?

I followed your instructions but they did not work. Specifically, I clicked on "Exceptions" after "Ask to save passwords," next to which I had clicked the box. Under exceptions, I put the URL for my bank. I clicked on "Block" and "Save Changes." Nevertheless whenever I go to my bank's log in page, it still autofills my user ID and password. (Yesterday I accidentally clicked the box when signing in to my bank's web page "Save User ID." Even though it only referred to my User ID, it now autofills both that and my password.

Also, even though there is a (non-working) Exceptions page for Saved Passwords, there is no such page for Saved User IDs.

Btw, when I used another browser to sign in to my bank's website, it did not autofill, so it's not the bank's software that is autofilling.

I cannot open the Mozilla download page. It seems not to download anything, as I m taken to the error page (see image).

I read a support thread on the issue but I could not understand, it seems like an issue that requires previous knowledge, and I think it should be easy for old, loyal users of Mozilla to have a simple solutions for access to Mozilla site, with... Mozilla browser!

It started to happen yesterday, so far I never had such difficulty.

I want you to be aware a Northern Calif. Utility, PGE, has rebuilt their website so FireFox cannot be used. I do not know if this is legal. I can no longer pay my bill using their website, and by phone, I am charged a fee. I don't know if this is legal, but you should not want this happening to the only safe browser.

My first name is Joachim and my last name has three parts: "von zur Gathen". Small v and z, capital G. My entry in "saved names" is (correctly) Joachim von zur Gathen. But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? Hi there! It started yesterday. I keep getting warning messages from Bitdefender that a connection Firefox was trying to establish was blocked. I will include a screenshot of the warning. I searched the link included in the warning and it comes up as a Firefox related link. I had six or seven of these warnings within the last 3 hours of using the computer and am concerned and irritated. Firefox is updated automatically on this computer and I think the last major change would have been the "cookie jar" thing(?). Obviously, the warning only says that the a certificate has expired. For four years your admin has used the Mozilla platform to stalk and hack my wife me and my children, bragging about stealing nude photos of my children. I have been powerless to stop them, Donald Ericson, and Forrest Kimmel has been using your platform thunderbird to attack my family for four years or longer. I need help because they have no intention to quit. My kids are 13 and 15 and I have been tormented by this group of grown men stealing information about them, and they have Mozilla certificates to do this to us. Suite a un nettoyage avec CCLANER sur mon PC je ne voie plus mes mots de passe sur mon navigateur .

J'ai pourtant option "mots de passe enregistrer" est bien désactiver sur cclaner

en regardant dans mon profile je vois bien mes fichier logins.json et key4.db et je vois bien mes identifiants crypter à l’intérieur .

Je ne sais pas quoi faire j'ai des donnée inestimable .

Spammers may know how to send messages using my secure email server. Is there any way that Thunderbird can help me by filtering my OUTGOING (SMTP) messages to make sure they include a specific code phrase? If they don't include the phrase, they should not be sent, and I should be informed that this misuse of my server is happening.

With Firefox 115.14.0esr, 115.2esr and 128.xesr we can`t log in into a company website with a certificate. After the certificate login we end up on the WebSeal again. Http status 302 for pkmslogin.form and pkmscertpromptstagen is called ~12x repeatedly with 302 error each time and then jump back to the login screen.

Completely out of the blue I cannot connect to my account at LLoyds bank because of a security problem with the bank which you describe as a connectivity issue. They say the problem lies with Firefox. Whichever I need it sorted quickly.
