Disable history

How can I disable history in the iOS app? In browser it's easy - Firefox will - never remember history. But I can´t find it in the iOS app.

I ALWAYS use FF in incognito mode. I do not ever switch to non incognito. However, after closing FF (iphone14 pro max, all fully updated) for a couple of hours, when I open, it’s magically back on NONincognito mode.

Also, when in incognito mode, FF still keeps cookies after I have deleted them and cleared caches.

Greetings Mozilla Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance with a compatibility issue I have encountered on Mozilla Firefox related to my dog insurance website. While the website functions seamlessly on Google Chrome, I have noticed some troubleshoot problems when accessed through Mozilla Firefox.

The issues include troubleshooting while using on Mozilla. I have thoroughly tested and ensured the compatibility on other browsers, and the website is optimized for a smooth user experience.

I would greatly appreciate your expertise and guidance in resolving these compatibility challenges on Mozilla Firefox. If anyone has encountered similar issues or has suggestions on how to address this matter, please share your insights. Your support will be invaluable in ensuring a consistent and reliable experience for users across different browsers.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to your valuable input.

Best regards,

Hi there, I just downloaded the Firefox mobile app for iOS and when I opened the app for the first time got a terrible surprise. The home page was displaying a list of "recently visited pages" but (1) they weren't recently visited, and (2) they were pages I'd visited using a private tab on another Firefox browser (that wasn't supposed to save cookies). It felt like a BIG violation of my privacy. When I searched online for info about this, I found a Reddit/r/firefox thread with others describing the same privacy breach 4 months ago. PLEASE FIX THIS.

These are questions for the company . You have been in business since 2018. For the six years since then, please provide data on the largest percentage increase in any account under your management, and also the smallest percentage increase in any account under your management. Please assure me that you are fiduciaries and how much you charge for your services. My account is slightly above 2-1/2 million.

Problem: "Video cannot be played on your device as it does not meet content protection standards" Message when trying to stream videos but only on Amazon Prime.

I have searched the internet for an answer only to be told the problem lies in the browser. I find this confusing because a few months ago I was always watching Amazon Prime videos on Firefox browser. What has changed? How can I correct it? I have the latest Firefox update (108.0.1 64 bit) on my mac Book Pro, MacOS Ventura 13.1.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer,

Happy Christmas,

Pete

Recently Firefox has started to automatically log me out of the sites that I regularly visit on the iOs version of the browser. I then have to keep logging back in each time I visit the sites. It's also incredibly finicky in the fact that sometimes I will be logged into one site, but not another, as if it's slowly deleting the history/logins or temporarily remembering certain sites before forgetting them again.

I'm on the regular tab for the browser app, not in the private/incognito one, but this continues to happen.

Trying to find an answer online leads me to people talking about a "never remember history" toggle, but never where to find it on iOs, just on the desktop browser. The only equivalent I can find for this is the "clear private data" under the data management tab, but when I try to toggle those off for browsing history, cache and cookies, they are auto switched back to on when I leave the settings as there is no way, or indication, of saving.

I don't know if this is something to do with the most recent update(Firefox 115.0) or what, but I'd like to figure out an answer because the continuous having to log in on my own device that I only use into what are my accounts on sites is starting to get frustrating.
