when i try to reinstall using an older version I am currently. using 68.12.1 and itried reinstalling because windows said there is no app associated with this. i tried reinstalling 68.12.1 and i got the following message and lost my addresses and contacts. i also get this message see attachment. i do not want the newer version. how do i reinstall this version and not have to start from scratch

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I have a locked file that shows up as Invalid Symlinks error. I am not sure but I think it may be Profile.ini Here is what I am getting that tells me its a Non-Existent Destination file. My question is why is it Invalid symlink and what can I do to fix it? Hi,

I recently migrated from Chrome to Firefox for a variety of reasons. I would like to continue using Firefox. However, everytime I close out of it and then reopen it I am forced to log back into every site. Firefox does not hold my passwords and does not keep me logged in like Chrome does.

Is there a way for me to correct this? Otherwise I need to go back to using Chrome.

To post on this support forum I just created a Firefox account. The system then emailed me a verification code to check my address. While nearly the entire email was in English, the time seemed to be rendered in Greek. This seems a bit odd to me. My browser is set to English, with no other languages present. My IP address is in the Netherlands. See the contents of the email below.

I just installed 3 Add-ons Free Memory, Free Memory Button and Ramback but, apart from them showing on the Add-ons Manager, I can't find them let alone open them.................Does anyone know where they could be or what happened? Thanks in Advance

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? I have to curate and compile sheets of announcements for a local humanitarian service provider forum. I do this by sifting through my Office 365 emails, and double clicking those that contain announcements so they open a window, then sorting the windows on a second screen, then read them, summarize them, file the pertinent information with links for my summaries, and when I get a page of them, send them out. I usually start with about 15 announcements on my other screen, and it takes me some time to get them all sorted and cascaded in order for the curation.

Some of them link to PDFs which Office 365 doesn't always preview and I click download, and this used to open them in the main browser window in a new tab, where I could read them and then save them. Recently, this behavior changed and they now open right in the window the email is in, with no bars of any kind or tabs to get out of them again. I hit the stack of pancakes button, and it had a tab marked Exit, so I thought that would exit me from the view.

Instead, counterintuitively, it exited me completely from FireFox, closing all of my carefully cascaded windows of announcements, and my main browser window with Office 365 in it and everything else.

Thanks a bunch. 1) What was so wrong with the previous setup that you needed to change it? 2) How for the love of whatever the author of this new "feature" was smoking, do I get it to revert to the email or is opening these attachments by "download" no longer possible without punting the whole thing to exit? 3) Does this mean I need to permanently disallow Firefox as the browser for all my PDFs or is there some way of doing something non-fatal to my work on a per-boot basis?

When I open Facebook with Firefox all of the images in the FB session are blank, and they will not open in the usual manner. Also only about 1/4 of the FB session is displayed.

When I use Edge I have no problems at all, so I have to assume that it is FF and not my computer that is at fault.

I'd like to add Firefox to Adobe Dreamweaver for site design viewing. When searching Windows for Firefox.exe I don't see it in Program Files or Program Files (x86). Firefox is installed and used daily. Can someone tell me where it's located in Windows 10?
