I have had a few emails that did not show up in the inbox listing, so the message count at the top indicated more messages than were listed. Doing a search showed them, and by moving them from the search results to another folder, and then re-searching and moving them back, caused most of them to appear. But not all - I still have a message count of 20, but only 19 listed, see photo 1. Photo 2 shows the hidden email (from Barry Chandler). So the email is there, it's just not visible!

I've been noticing that when I click History > Clear Recent history, after clicking and going back to History, it hasn't removed everything. I have Firefox on my Android phone which is set to clear history upon close. For for unknown reasons, its leaving sites from both desktop and phone apps after clearing.

I'm running Firefox v 115.9.1esr on my Mac.

Any ideas?

The page https://www.stardock.com/products/groupy/update opens during the loading of the OS background processes. I have looked up on the windows task manager, the about:config and haven't found anything related to this process.

My email is on a gmail server. I've been using POP for a long time. My inbox in gmail has 160,000 emails. They go back to 2005. In Thunderbird I have moved emails from inbox to to various local folders. Right now I only have from 1/1/2022 forward in the Thunderbird inbox.

Let me know of any way of migrating to IMAP

I use Thunderbird to get my COX and Gmail emails. When Cox moves to Yahoo what needs to be changed in Thunderbird to get my emails? How do I do this? Cox Communications is divesting itself of Email. Thunderbird is my client for my Cox email. It appears Cox has a data package which I need to import to Thunderbird or Mozilla and i need advice on how to do this? I am at wits-end on this issue, I would like to keep chaz4@ cox.net and ocal9@cox.net or switch them to mozilla.org or at least for a while forward them to chask14@yahoo.com. But if non of these things are possible, I guess I will have to stop using either email address. If you are a Human and not a machine, please send your response to chask14@yahoo.com as chaz4@cox.net may not be working anymore.

4 of my many T.Bird email folders somehow lost their email contents (about 50 emails). I have an older T.Bird email backup and want to only reload the 4 empty folders using the backup. I want to keep any emails that may be in my other current folders but not in the backups. I am not sure how to do this.

If I copy the same named T. Bird email root directory [b0mdofvn.default] back up folders into the current email root directory, I see the replaced emails very briefly and then they self delete, leaving the folders empty.

How do I fix this?

not receiving emails on my PC using thunderbird ,only gmail not receiving but bigpond email receiving ok.gmail is sending emails ok.pop server settings seem right .only stopped receiving emails for my gmail account on 06/04/2024.a week ago.please help ,many thanks greg . ps i can still receive emails on my iphone though.

I cannot receive certain emails sent by interactive brokers which is trying to verify my profile and information on file. They told me to contact my email provider.

I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Firefox as I have used it for years. Although I imported my passwords and they are correct it will not log in to sites I need for work. It isn't telling me I have the wrong pw or id, it just does nothing.

I have updated windows, I have uninstalled and reinstalled....I don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

I'm currently using Thunderbird version 115.9.0. For the last several months when I detach, delete or save an attachment, Thunderbird will duplicate the email. I then manually delete the duplicate.

This didn't happen the first several years I used Thunderbird. Is there some setting I missed? Any solution to prevent this from happening?

HI, I'm trying to move the text to below the picture as in the screenshot of the popup (black back ground) on the non-popup pages because the mobile is not in popup, and the text is blocking the artwork as well. Is there a section to move the text outside of the picture? Thank you!

My Thunderbird stopped receiving emails. I am on a Mac. I am posting here because I looked through the list here. Others had the same problem but the conversation is now archived. I tried the offered solutions and they didn't work. So having just fixed mine, I'm posting my solution. Go to System Settings. to Passwords. Unlock Passwords by signing in. There you find your email service listed. Click on it and check that that password matches the password on your account on your email services website. If it doesn't, fix it. Then open Thunderbird on the menu bar at the top, go to Settings ( not Account Settings.) Go to Passwords, to Saved Passwords, click on that and it will show you a list of your saved logins. Below the list, you can click on Show Passwords to see what's there. I had a bad password in there. (I had more than one password that had been saved for Thunderbird.) I deleted all Thunderbird passwords. Then I closed and reopened Thunderbird, clicked Get Messages, filled in the correct password when asked. Bingo. My email downloaded into Thunderbird.

Accidentally closed browser with many multiple tabs open. Tried to restore history but option was grayed out. Tried several times but was not able to get back to the original browsing window with the multiple open tabs.

Would really appreciate help on this, if possible, as the many multiple tabs contained family history research that will be difficult to impossible to duplicate.

Since a recent UPDATE, there are NO emails showing in the SENT BOX, or any of the FOLDERS including an important one labeled TAX RECEIPTS!!! The only boxes which show emails are the INBOX and the DRAFT BOX. After depending on Thunderbird for 20 years, I now have to use WEBMAIL. OH DEAR, Can you please help me. I am a nearly 80 year old grandmother who wants to email her grandchildren in GERMANY. PLEASE HELP!!

I recently had to re-install Windows. I saved my Thunderbird profile. I re-installed Thunderbird and when imported my profile, I could retrieve my messages but could not send messages. I attempted to change the settings and wound up creating two additional Pop3 accounts. Now I can't send or retrieve messages. My provider is Charter/Spectrum. I have tried all the settings they suggested. How do I get out of this fix? Thanks.

I have both Gmail and Aol accounts on my installation, 115.9.0. My aol account is behaving funny. If I choose to display only unread emails, the screen goes blank and no messages show. I then click on sent message, click back on incoming and the messages reappear in the "all" messages display. The Gmail account is just fine, I can click between "All" and "Unread only" with no issues. Can't figure out what's going on.
