The context menu, which I use to select if I want to open a link in another tab (which I do a lot) or in another window (which I do with great regularity) is over flowing with 50+ items. This is beyond ridiculous! A context menu is supposed to provide you functions related to what you are doing. When I just misspelled a the same 50+ options came up. When I right click I expect the context menu, that will work. When I right click on a link and select either open in a "new tab" or "open in a new window" NOTHING happens. When I right click on a misspelled word I do not get a proposed correct word. The context menu is either broken or really needs an overhaul. This just started today after Firefox updated to 134.0

The goal is to disable Private Browsing mode in Firefox, ensuring that it cannot be used on the system.
I have spent hours on this. With no luck.
1. **Adjusting Settings**:
- Open Firefox. - Click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner. - Select "Options" or "Settings". - Go to "Privacy & Security". - Uncheck the box next to "Always use private browsing mode". - Restart Firefox.
2. **Modifying History Settings**:
- Open Firefox. - Click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner. - Select "Options" or "Settings". - Go to "Privacy & Security". - Scroll down to the "History" section. - Change the setting to "Use custom settings for history". - Uncheck the box next to "Always use private browsing mode". - Restart Firefox.
3. **Using about:config**:
- Open Firefox. - Type `about:config` in the address bar and press `Enter`. - Accept the Risk and Continue. - Search for `browser.privatebrowsing.autostart`. - Double-click on it to change the value to `false`. - Restart Firefox.
4. **Creating a New Firefox Profile**:
- Open Firefox. - Type `about:profiles` in the address bar and press `Enter`. - Click on "Create a New Profile" and follow the prompts. - Launch the new profile in a new browser. - Go to "Privacy & Security" settings and ensure "Always use private browsing mode" is unchecked. - Restart Firefox.
5. **Refreshing Firefox**:
- Open Firefox. - Click on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner. - Select "Help" and then "More Troubleshooting Information". - Click on "Refresh Firefox" and confirm. - Firefox will reset to default settings and restart.
6. **Checking Firefox Policies**:
- Open Firefox. - Type `about:policies` in the address bar and press `Enter`. - Review any active policies that might be enforcing Private Browsing mode.
7. **Uninstalling and Reinstalling Firefox**:
- Uninstall Firefox from your system. - Download the latest version from Mozilla's official Firefox download page. - Reinstall Firefox and check if the issue is resolved.
8. **Registry Edit (Windows)**:
- Press **`Win + R`** to open the Run dialog. - Type **`regedit`** and press **`Enter`** to open the Registry Editor. - Navigate to the following key: ``` HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox ``` - If the `Mozilla` or `Firefox` keys do not exist, you'll need to create them: - Right-click on the **`Policies`** key. - Select **`New > Key`**. - Name the new key **`Mozilla`**. - Right-click on the **`Mozilla`** key. - Select **`New > Key`**. - Name the new key **`Firefox`**. - Right-click on the **`Firefox`** key. - Select **`New > DWORD (32-bit) Value`**. - Name the new value **`DisablePrivateBrowsing`**. - Double-click on the **`DisablePrivateBrowsing`** value. - Set the "Value data" to **`1`**. - Click **`OK`** to save the changes. - Restart your computer to apply the changes.
These steps represent a comprehensive attempt to disable Private Browsing mode in Firefox.

This is triggered by laptop doing sleep/wake transitions so I strongly suspect this is related to Firefox online/offline detection.

I've used FF for years. The last year, it does not function correctly on about 20% of sites. I suggest focusing on making it compatible, rather than requiring sites that are perfectly coded. I may have to drop FF soon.

Recently, the Firefox browser stopped working. Specifically for me, Costco's website, and Aetna. I believe the issue could be that those websites require that the location is confirmed, but no pop is generated, thus causing the website to not work with Firefox. Please help me, as your browser is the best.
I updated the browser also still none of the tabs or menus are visible.
