All of the 20 or so Desktop icons I created dragging the URL from Firefox to the desktop have no turned to the DEFAULT blank page icon.
What I have tried before:
One 'oddity', and 3 of the ones I did try I did get the URL Icon on the desktop? Do not know why only those 3 which I deleted to icon before dragging. On one, I did not delete the icon but replaced the desktop one?
One last tidbit, I had a screen lockup the day before, and booting from the Lockup (required a power off and then on) this was not when it happened, it happened some time later, maybe even 2 days later?
Sounds like a corrupt file somewhere, just don't know where? SFC and DISM were run and no problems found. Ran 2 A/V and a Malware scan, nothing found?
Any suggestion?

These last two days I cannot login on any Google Service website. I enter my email and when I press next nothing happens. The same happens with website https://quora.com, after you login, a blank screen is displayed. When I try to login to the firefox account I get the message "Cookies and local storage are required", a screenshot is attached.
I didn't touch any settings and I suspect this problem happened after the latest update, 101.0.1 (64-bit). I restarted Firefox in Safe Mode but the problem remains.
On Microsoft Edge everything works fine. Please help.

Here is the error / problem: "The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop-server.woh.rr.com responded: no such message."
I had this happen some time ago on another pop on RR mail server and logging in via Web Mail and deleting the emails worked BUT.. It happened again on another pop account and it did not work.. So... I nuked the pop via the master account and re-added it.. nothing so, I ran check disk thinking a FAT corruption NOPE, I restored a MOZBACK of Thunderbird from like a month ago Ziltch.. I called useless RR support and nothing!
FINALLY *Scratching Head*.. In there change your Junk mail options to "delete the email". I had one junk email stuck in there and after refreshing that page..That one Junk Email was gone and THEN Thunderbird worked checking that pop..
WAHLAH!
I hate when the simplest of things do not work and it pissed me off nobody had the answer.. HERE YOU ALL GO!

Now the most recent mails of two years are gone, most recent mail is from 2016. Nevertheless my quota is still 91% full. Did I completely lost these mails, or can I recover them? And how to make sure the newest 2000 mails stay, while anything older gets deleted - and my quota usage comes down.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated

Pressing the Send button, on my Fully Updated, Freshly re-installed Thunderbird, gives NO FEEDBACK and then sometimes Crashes. Like nothing happens. I have a Fiber optic connection and I FREAKING KNOW that it is working because it eventually gives an error message when I try to close it. Because it pissed me off so I copied the file to the Online Email interface for the Email provider.
I can understand crash reports when I close Thunderbird, it gets confused, but when I close just the Email window... What Happens THEN!?!

The auto-hide URL bar:
- consistently creates problems with fixed position elements such as footers because the window height calculations are broken - consistently conflicts with the pull-to-refresh mechanism when the url bar is on the top and auto-hiding - creates cognitive and physical issues for some users and complicates actions such as refreshing, bookmarking, and navigation - the old about:config pref to disable auto-hiding now doesn't work.
Pull-to-refresh:
- is incredibly hair-trigger and over-sensitive - consistently triggers in unexpected situations such as when scrolling to the top of pages quickly (not even at the top), lists of items such as webmail (eg. gmx.net), and lazy-loaded/lazy-drawn content - is even broken on this support page when trying to scroll the text box up to edit content I've typed in. - risks the loss of user data not retained through refreshes. - there is no UI to disable this and no obvious about:config pref.
Both of these features are making my experience with Firefox preview unbearable and I deeply regret updating from the old android UI. If that isn't a strong enough statement I don't know what is.

Hello, this appears to be a Firefox-exclusive problem as any other browser used will fix the issues listed below. However, when I am using Firefox, the following happens:
I've tried multiple ways to fix this, including clearing my cache, running in Safe Mode, and removing my saved login. None of these have worked, unfortunately. I've reached out to Twitter Support, but soon realized I wouldn't hear back about specific problems at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
