Hello, I have Firefox for Android 151.0.4 on a Samsung A50 with Android 9. On the SD card of the device I have several pdf files which can be opened with Adobe Acrobat with no problems. Instead, when I go to the device's file manager, move to that SD card, long-tap on one of those pdf files, tap on the three dots to see more options, choose "Open with" and finally select Firefox, I have that Firefox opens with a "File not found" page and the address bar shows, for instance "content://media/external/file/22098" while the pdf file I tried opening is "/SD Card/Test.pdf".

Is it possible to open local pdf files on my device with Firefox for Android? In the positive case, how can I do it in my case?

The saved address, saved cards pop-up/suggestion that is shown in the bottom of the browser window can not be dissmised and it covers the footer of the web page. Many pages nowadays have "Next"/"Finish" wizard buttons in the footer/bottom of the web page and because the address suggestion pop-up can only be minimised and maximized the buttons are not accesble and this blocks the user from being able to use the webpage. Possible solutions: 1. Make the pop-up dismissable with a slide left/right or an X button. 2. Move it to the top of the page or make it movable. 3. Stop making it in an overlay fashion 4. Change the shape from the full width bar to something else that will not cover the whole footer.

Please analyze and fix this issue as fast as possible because it is the only reason I am not able to use the Firefox browser on my mobile phone.

Every time I download a file through firefox on android (153.0.4 (Build #2016177879)) I get an actual notification and often times I use that as a way to open my file.

However, I also get a notification badge on the three dots in the url-bar which does not disappear until I view my downloads (which is 2 clicks of navigation). This happens even if the file gets deleted! This is relentlessly annoying as a person that likes to keep things free of notification badges everywhere. Please either remove it or let me disable it at least.

P.S. image attached shows the notification badge after I downloaded and deleted an image.

I was wondering if it's possible to lock a website's Login and Password Autofill behind a fingerprint prompt on mobile.

Sounds like a useful functionality, and would greatly improve overall App security, similar to how Samsung Pass works.

I am running into a strange issue with the Firefox app installed on my new mobile phone, and it occurs consistently while browsing almost all websites. The problem is that after a webpage loads completely, the right side gets slightly cut off. It doesn't seem to be caused by display scaling, font size, or screen zoom. Because if that were the case, pinching to zoom with two fingers should have brought the hidden right side into view. For example, on Reddit, when I try to check my profile or notifications, the right side gets cropped out. On the other hand, this Firefox support page is displaying properly, with no part cut off. I have attached screenshots of both. I am encountering this issue on several other websites as well. My device is a popular Samsung model. Other browsers, such as the pre-installed Google Chrome or MS Edge downloaded from the Google Play Store, do not have any such issue. So far, I tried removing all extensions from Firefox, but to no avail. I couldn't find anything relevant in the settings that could cause this either. I tried toggling the protection settings between Standard and Strict, but it made no difference. Is there any known fix for this issue?

After downloading Mozilla app, I get trouble to search through Google page and also with The Lucky Date etc. Whenever I am clicking the apps or even link immediately it's taking me through Mozilla and the page becomes blank (white) without any error information. Please guide me how the avoid the trouble or directly open those pages.

Cant post my question on reddit, so .. are they bunting firefox users out of sessions?. Ive been logged in then bunted out receiving "reddit is better with the app" message. Also bunted out on desktop, no mesaage. I only login using Firefox using synced passwords. These are correct. When blocked logging back in. Password is invalid. Request password reset email never arrives. Earlier in the week i verified my account email. I checked my logins and ip#s are ones ive used. Any ideas?

I have both my PC and my phone signed into the same account and they are both synced. When using the option to send tab to my phone from my PC nothing appears on my phone but there's a pop-up on my PC saying it sent the tab or it was it's a check mark or something that suggests that it knows I wanted to send a tab. And then usually when I am trying to go to bed there is a tab that was playing on my PC so I go to bed and I open up my phone, I select the tab in the sync section and I sync the devices and then I attempt to close the tab. About half the time, honestly probably more the tab will not close and stays active on my PC and it is usually a twitch tab so then when I'm trying to sleep I just hear sound coming from my PC, the tab is gone from my phone so I can't even attempt to hit the x on it again so I end up having to get up and exit on my computer. I think also I've tried to send a tab from my phone to my PC, I could have sworn that was a thing and I don't remember that working either.

I've been trying to add proton pass to my android so that it will pop up when prompted at a website for username and password. I could not find it as a Firefox browser extension

1. continually played by frame and zoom issues despite adjusting accessibility settings.

2. YouTube comments cannot be edit.

3. before I could remove individual data history and other individual settings from sites but now I cannot select it. I understand my script extension has something like this but I thought that the browser before had more flexibility.

I just got the OnePlus 15 and it has an awesome feature called file dock. My Firefox web browser, I love it but for some reason it's not compatible with the file doc program pre-installed with my phone, can you help?

I have used build-in VPN in my Firefox on Android but recently I can't see this setting to turn it on. Same on second device. Booth are Pixel phones, localization: Poland. What happened?
