I've been using Firefox for a while and it is one of the best browsers I have used. The ability to just view pdf links as documents instead of downloading them is the feature that made me stick to it. But I've been facing a problem that's annoying. Only Google's cookies are cleared automatically. It won't keep me signed in like other sites. When I quit the browser, only Google cookies are cleared and I'm signed out of my account. I don't know if it's a Samsung related issue as my friends are not facing this. I've reported this on bugzilla as well. This is the bug id: 1940021.

Been happily using Firefox for about 20 years now and am loyal to it. However, recently, it started disappointing me by randomly closing ALL my open tabs on mobile, without a warning. I lost over a year's worth of nearly a thousand tabs. I've set the settings to keep the open tabs and never had any problems until about 2 weeks ago. There was no recent update, no crash, nothing unusual. The history only shows the last 10 closed tabs, so that's of no use. This morning, it happened again with about 20 tabs and it's starting to really annoy me! 😠 I don't want to switch, but this is making me lose my trust in Firefox. Can anyone tell me what's going on??

When I open YouTube or tik tok in my Firefox browser and play a video, I want the video to stop playing as soon as I close the Firefox app. But when I open my running apps and swipe up to close Firefox, the videos keep playing every time. There is a a media controller for Firefox in my notifications that does not disappear and remains active after I close my Firefox app, I don't want that either; I want those specific things to stop as soon as I close my Firefox app. I do not want my browser to play a video after I have attempted to close the browser to stop the video.

I can't find any settings on the Firefox app about background playback. The only article I found on Mozilla about this feature cheerfully reports that videos will play in the background when you "minimize" the app, and it does not give any direction for how to opt out of this feature by changing the settings. Can someone help me figure this out ?.

Yesterday my Firefox and alot of my apps have disappeared. It is very important to get them back. How could this happen? Please take a moment to let me know how to get them back. Thank you

Hello I use Firefox for Android 133.0.3 on a Samsung Galaxy s22. Why has the search suggestion from the Wikipedia search box all of a sudden stopped working? When a write a term in the wikipedia search box, a list of possible completion comes up as expected, but when I click on one of those nothing happens. I just get back to the previous wiki page. This is not the bahaviuor for any other browser for Android I tried, nor for Firefox for Windows. I tried to clean cookies and even reinstalled Firefox, but the strange bahaviuor remains. How do I solve the problem?

I was using the Google PlayStore app of DuckDuckGo browser for about 2 years. I decided to change to the Firefox Browser on my Android Samsung phone, but keep using the DuckDuckGo search engine, since I hate Google.

I have 6 screens of bookmarks I need to import without rooting my phone on my computer, which I will not do, as this can ruin the phone and cause risk of damage. How can I do this then? I have already exported the DuckDuckGo bookmarks into a file. How can I get those booksmarks into the Firefox browser on my phone without losing two years of bookmarks I want to eventually uninstall the DuckDuckGo phone browser, but doing so will delete all the bookmarks. Tell me how I can import the bookmarks into the Firefox app on the phone.

Firefox android randomly fails to download files. Usually it fails to download pdf file or images. Sometimes it gets right on its own after a while. But often I have to clear all data to bring browser back to work.

The option to put the toolbar on top or bottom has been removed, and it's now fixed in place, in the exact wrong place for me.

Where is this option gone off to? Why did Mozilla make the decision to not only remove the option, but also force (some) users into the wrong layout?

Sorry, but things like this are a really crappy thing to do. Unless I'm missing something and the option has been moved to somewhere else, but I can't find it.

Me and my partner both use Firefox, big fans but the recent update to Android has messed up our book marks.

I use a Samsung Galaxy S22 on Android 14 and my partner is using a Samsung Galaxy S23 on Android 14.

Since updating to Firefox 133.0.3 build #2016060959 when we go into our bookmarks folders are now muddled up with pages and are not alphabetical. Nothing is in order anymore. It used to be structured folders first then pages, similar structure to my desktop bookmarks.

I did a search to see if there was a way to organize them, I've tried a few suggestions but they didn't work, it appears the Android version has some limitations.

Is there a way to reorganize the bookmarks back to how they were? This is only affecting the Android versions.
