When I am watching youtube videos, when I enter fullscreen mode by clicking bottom right 'Fullscreen' icon on the video, I get fullscreen of course, but only once. What I mean? once I enter fullscreen mode of youtube video, if I leave that fullscreen mode e. g. to change video, I can No Longer enter fullscreen mode no matter if i click the icon for it. I need to reshresh the page.

If I was to go out of fullscreen mode to read the title or other information about the video, I can no longer go to fullscreen mode again until I refresh/reload the page. You know what I am saying, in this particular case the video will start from scratch etc.

Fix please.

When I click on a link that is a pdf file in firefox, it won't open. A Adobe begins to open but then I get an error message. It says it cannot be downloaded, try saving to local storage and retry. However, I am clicking on the pages option to save the pdf already. I haven't located anything in the menu or settings to fix this issue.

Is there a way to sort bookmarks or require the newest bookmark to be at the top of the list? I keep adding bookmarks and the program puts the newest ones in the middle of the list somewhere. I can't figure out how to stop it from putting them in some random order. (Firefox for Android)

Look, all I wanted to do was change my primary email address to my gmail account, when I moved. This should have taken what?, two-three minutes!

It's been over a month fighting with the blasted thing, so I don't remember everything I originally did.

But at the time, I successfully changed the email on my cell phone & laptop. But 'something' hiccupped & went wrong, & it was not changed on my tablet.

Firefox eventually locked me out of my account after repeated attempts to log in. I recall asking for the six digit verification code, only to be told when I entered it, that it was incorrect, so got another, and another, repeatedly, each time being told the code was incorrect! Something like nine-ten times, I believe. I've literally spent hours & days at this, looking for a solution, to no avail.

When I tried to log into sync on the tablet today, Memorial Day, my old email address STILL shows up, and the snarkty thing just tells me I need to use my primary email address, & won't let me in. when I look at my accounts settings on another device, everything looks hunky dory! Yet my tablet still tells me, every day, that it hasn't been synced for "X" many days. Argh!

Worse, in order to post this request for help, on the same tablet, Firefox asked me to log in, DID show my primary email address, and logged me right on in, OPEN SESAME!

I was so annoyed & seriously ticked at this, it just felt like the Firefox program had just extended a virtual, certain single digit, in my general direction! If I can"t get this fixed soon, I'm going to remove sync, if I have pull it out by the roots!

When downloading something on Firefox for Android, Downloading notifications are duplicated on status bar. One appears normal, but another doesn't show correct progress of download. When download is completed, wrong one still shows progress bar, and soon disappears (not show the message of complete). Pressing long time on wrong one shows that it is provided by "・", but I can't select "最小化" and "通知を表示しない". By disabling downloading notification, both correct and wrong disappear.

The environment is Firefox for Android 68.8.1 on Android 9, SH-03J. No add-ons. Re-install and reset to factory default has no effect, but this problem doesn't occur on the same device and OS that have used 3 years.

How can I remove only the wrong notification?

(I'm Japanese, and if my English is messed up, I am sorry.)

I have been using Firefox password manager on mobile for some time. More recently I have been using Lockwise. I also sync passwords with several computers/laptops with Firefox via Sync.

I would like to solely use Lockwise on mobile. What is the best way to disable the password manager in the mobile browser, without losing any passwords - either in my account or on synced computers.

Is it just a case of unticking 'Remember logins' or do I need to first untick 'logins' under the sync section "Choose what to sync"

I am mainly worried that if I do in the wrong order, all passwords will be deleted on synced accounts.

How do I delete individual autocomplete entries on Firefox for Android?

All responses I see are for the PC version. This question was asked and archived 6 years ago, and the only answer was that it couldn't be done. You can only delete all personal data, not individual entries. Please tell me that Firefox figured out how to do this, given 6 years to work on it.

I've gone through the steps to save logins and passwords (settings, privacy, remember logins is checked) and I've made sure that Form History, Cookies & active logins, Cache, and Site Settings are not cleared on exit. Firefox will still not remember logins or passwords. I would also like it to ask if it should be saved or not. Is this possible. I'm running Firefox on an Android Samsung A20.

On the desktop version of Firefox, when I open "Show All Downloads" and there "Clear Downloads", the history of downloads is cleared, but the downloaded files are present in the folder still. This is the desired behavior.

However, on Android Firefox, if I open Tools->Downloads, I only get the option "Delete All Downloads" and when I press it, the list gets cleared, along with the files from the folder. How do I avoid this and get the behavior similar to that in the desktop? Basically, I wish to clear Firefox download history in Android without deleting/renaming the downloaded files.

Hello everyone,

I successfully configured my own Firefox sync server on a Ubuntu server with Apache2. (see https://mozilla-services.readthedocs.io/en/latest/howtos/run-sync-1.5.html#howto-run-sync15) It syncs OK between different Firefox client (Linux, Windows 10...) but not with Android version. I configured the identity.sync.tokenserver.uri like on the desktop versions by looking at about:config. I double-verified configuration, but nothing sync. All the checkbox are grayed (see attached images) As there isn't sync log like on desktop versions (about:sync-log), I looked at my Apache log instead, and it seems that something goes wrong. Indeed, when a desktop client starts to sync, there are lines like: 192.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [23/May/2020:18:48:50 +0200] "GET /token/1.0/sync/1.5 HTTP/1.1" 200 3122 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:76.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/76.0" or 77.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [23/May/2020:06:54:40 +0200] "GET /token/1.0/sync/1.5 HTTP/1.1" 200 3122 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:76.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/76.0" but when android client starts to sync, it seems that url is incomplete (there isn't /token/1.0/sync/1.5 after GET): 92.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [22/May/2020:21:03:45 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 2579 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Android 6.0.1; Mobile; rv:68.0) Gecko/68.0 Firefox/68.0" I suspect this is the problem, but I can't understand why. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance.
