Since the last update (123.4) I have this behavior in both iPadOS and iOS: when there's a link that opens in a new tab, most of the time the new tab will open an about:blank page instead of the actual link.

I noticed this happens as I use the browser more: if I force close it and reopen it, the links will usually load OK for the first 1-4 sites, but after a period (or loading a "heavy" site la Facebook) I can reproduce the error 90% of the time.

Happens on iPad Air 3 and iPhone 13 mini.

Since a while, when I click on a link in a Google search result, the link opens in a blank tab (about:blank). Opening the link via the context menu "open in new tab" works without any probem. This happens on a iPad with iPadOS 16.7.6 with Firefox 124.0 (39709). FF is set as standard browser. Does not happen in Safari or Chrome.

How do I turn on auto fill of I’d and passwords on my websites. I no longer get window to ask about saving new websites and passwords either. I have version 124.2 on my iPad

I ALWAYS use FF in incognito mode. I do not ever switch to non incognito. However, after closing FF (iphone14 pro max, all fully updated) for a couple of hours, when I open, it’s magically back on NONincognito mode.

Also, when in incognito mode, FF still keeps cookies after I have deleted them and cleared caches.

Hi, all of my passwords and usernames have been deleted. When I go to the passwords section of my account all that is listed is the web addresses. The usernames and passwords are blank! HELP!

Hello, Since a few versions ago when you access a bookmark in a bookmarks subfolder and then, after viewing the web page, you go back to bookmarks, you are always back to the top bookmarks folder instead of the last selected one. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if it is intended? Before that, you were always brought back to the last viewed subfolder, which was perfect. Is there plan to have this behavior back? When I go to Bookmarks on Firefox for iOS the past couple days, as I scroll the list freezes - I have to reboot Firefox completely as it won’t let me open a link or click done to get out of Bookmarks. Any ideas? I restarted the phone already.

My dark mode keeps switching back to light. And I’m not talking about pages that are white regardless. I’m referring to pages like my home page. I keep it set on dark mode all the time. And I keep have to switch from dark to light over and over again to fix it to fix other pages that are normally dark.

Hi it appears that My Firefox on IOS has contracted the above virus/malware/adware.

Is there a process to clear it out of My iPad?

I am getting pop up’s and redirects to their pages.

How to use Firefox when you don’t include Protonmail in your list of browsers to select as the default? I see requests for this to be rectified going back years and you still haven’t done anything about it. Surely it’s a simple enough thing to act upon?

Is there anyway to get the bookmarks back on the homepage for iOS and if not can it please get added back. I really like this app but it feels like every update removes a function or adds something that makes life more painful.

Some images On different websites have a saturation that makes the pictures a sort of neon colour. I don’t remember the name of the effect, but it looks like a filter. See image.

This has been going on for about half a year. Often when I try to comment on Reddit there will be a glitch in which text cannot be written or eddited notmally, such as:

• the new words being typed are now suddenly being typed at the front of the comment and are replacing the old words as I type
• if I click to the end again it might also replace these lattermost words when I type
• pressing backspace to delete words may leave the same characters but the blinker will move back through the letters as though I was simply pressing the left arrow key to move back
• backspace does nothing
• writing is impossible

I accepted an update for Firefox and it has deleted all of my saved passwords and deleted all saved accounts.

I have tried all trouble shooting on this website, can anyone suggest anything that works?

Firefox is currently blocking my work website. This has never happened before so I can only assume that it is since the last update. I have gone into Firefox /Preferences/Privacy&Security to put an exception on the website so it is not blocked. It is sort of a two page/window log-in process. This is the first window where you enter your log-in details. It then uses an authenticator app on my phone as a verification that I am who I say I am: https://acaeronet.aircanada.ca/vdesk/webtop.eui?webtop=/Prod/AC_EMPLOYEES_FULL_POR_PROD&webtop_type=webtop_full Once I am verified, then it opens and I select aeronet, which then opens second page/window which allows me to access the sight. This is the window that opens but does not populate with information as if it is being blocked: https://aircanada.sharepoint.com/sites/aeronet/CookieRedirect/acaeronet.html?wa=wsignin1.0

Any suggestions as to how I can regain access to my work website? I've tried to upload screenshots of the web pages but they won't upload. Not a computer guy here so bear with me.

Please give us an option to DELETE or not show “recent bookmarks” in your browser. BTW I am a monthly contributor but this issue really needs to be addressed in iPad, iPhone formats.
