Despite finding a search result for how to import bookmarks to firefox, I am unable to locate a menu on my Chromebook my Android device or my iPad which lets me locate and import bookmarks

I have just downloaded the browser to both my iPad and iPhone 17. I do not have a desktop computer. I am trying to get my bookmarks from safari to populate into Mozilla on both my iPad and iPhone. How can I make this happen please?

My os crashed. I have been a t.bird user for years. Luckilly took a backup file .thunderbird on flashdrive very recntly. new zorin loaded and comes with t.bird installed. i have no password. i have not yet done anything and ask for step by step help i have opened t.bird abd it asks for email and password. i did not enter anything

I have a new windows 11 laptop. Transferring from a windows 10 laptop. I have installed Thunderbird on new machine. It is also my email on old machine. I have clicked on import within Thunderbird. The instruction is to go to C:/Users/myusername/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/b4553kng.default NB I can't find backslash on my keyboard, so I'm using / When I look in myusername, there is no folder called AppData There is a folder called Roaming, but it just has folders Intel/Wireless, which is empty. In C: Program Files, there is a folder called Mozilla Thunderbird, but it has no folder called Profiles. I have seached C: for any folder called AppData, but no results. Can anyone help?

I've been upgrading from Win 7 and Thunderbird (TB) version 68.1.1 (32 bit) to most recent TB Version 145.0.7632.117 (Official Build) (64-bit) NOTE: From a old Dell Inspiron 580 to Alienware Aurora Act 1250.

With new system and TB, I can export with handy-dandy exporter for TB 145.0.7632.117 but need them off old Windows 7 box. I see that the Legacy Add-on "Password Exporter" doesn't have versions high enough to work with most recent TB. And, I can't find a exporter for the old TB.

I have tried listing them in the old TB, but can't Capy/Paste. I made good quality screen caps and pieced them together in to one list. I was hoping to put the screen cap through a OCR but too costly for just one operation, and won't put it to a Online OCR - not when the image contains such things as ID';s and passwords.

Is there any way the data and passwords can be extracted from the old TB?

I've saved my thunderbird data from Win10 computer following the instructions but when I copy the file to the new computer win11 it doesn't seem to work I'm not sure whats happening. The process I followed is install thunderbird, go to help menu, trouble shooting , open file (profile), close thunderbird, go up 3 levels to roaming, then paste the copied file in the thunderbird file and close. then open thunderbird. It still wants me to set my account up and there is no data. Is there something I'm missing. Thanks for any help in advance. Cheers Stuart

I have a very old 32bit computer with Windows 10 which has Thunderbird profile located in C:\Users\mbc0\AppData\Local\Mozilla Thunderbird

The new computer Windows 11 64bit has the profile stored in C:\Users\mbc0\AppData\Local\Thunderbird

The file structure also looks completely different, how do I move all my email/address books etc to the new installation please?

My old computer motherboard died. I was able to copy my profile from users>appdata>Thundrbird>Profiles. When I install Thunderbird on my new PC, I cannot find a method to install my old profile. I still have access to my old C:\ but only as an external data drive.

I have located the profile on an old computer and want to import it into TB on a new computer. I have copies the "mail" portion but I can't find away to import it into the tb on the new computer. How? Thank you, Paul Marrow

I have made under Win10 a backup file for Thunderbird: 140.3.0 (de)-2025-10-01.pcv. Now under Linux Mint I want to make update for Thunderbird, but the file *.pcv cannot be read. Please for help.

Thunderbird TB: Under Win10 I have generated TB backup file 140.3.0(de)-2025-10-01.pcv. Under Linux Mint I cannot make an update for TB, because TB do not see this file. What to do?

I have two accounts set up on Thunderbird. One new one with just the basic sub folders and an old one (no longer 'functional' due to failed service provider) which has many sub folders.

I have a multitude of filters on the old account directing incoming emails to appropriate sub folders and I want the same filters on the new account. Is there any way of just copying the old filters to the new account to save redoing each individual filter from scratch?

I wish to move my Thunderbird and lightning application, including all filters and old emails, to a new computer. In the old versions that I used to use, this was as easy as copy and paste, but that seems to not be the case with version 140, so I have to bother you with a request for help.

I am running LinuxMint Mate 22.2.

I followed the directions in one of your articles and found myself at the Troubleshooting page, Profile Directory entry. I clicked the Open Directory button next to it as instructed, but nothing happens. So, since your instructions said that that action would just take me to a .Thunderbird directory anyway, I attempted to search for that with hidden files turned off. But no joy their, either.

Can you let me in on a secret, like what is the path is to this hidden folder, rather than having me use your mystery button? Then I can just move the files myself, if that is indeed the solution.
