In the last month( i think after updating to frfx 58) when I type to reply to email in my Gmail account in my browser ( firefox 58.0.2) I get to see the standard formatting of the text (blue, comic sans etc) but when I actually send it, the sent email has the format disappeared and is standard format instead (in black plain font for example). This also happens in my other Gmail accounts too. I tried in MS IntExplorer and there is not a problem (meaning it is NOT my GMAIL's account settings)

Any suggestion/help?

After Firefox has been open more than a few minutes, usually with at least two or three windows and/or tabs open, when I try to type accented characters (á, é, í, ó, ú Á É Í Ó Ú) they come out with an extra accent mark preceding the accented letter (´á ´é ´í ´ó ´ú). I usually have a WebWhatsApp window open.

This doesn't happen in other browsers or other programs that take text.

At the same time, the Ctrl+F (for find) function stops working. If I close all of the windows, and attempt to reopen Firefox, I get an error that says that Firefox is still running, and do I want to close it? I say yes, and it closes. And for a short or longer while, the problems go away. Then they come back.

Lenovo Flex 3 -1570 laptop, Windows 10 Home v. 1803 . Updated Firefox Quantum 66.0.5. Had Firefox "optimized" a few times by my Lenovo tech support subscription service. No effect.

2-8-18 My computer did a windows update, and my firefox did an update. Since all the text on my firefox is grainy, and weird looking. I wouldn't care but it is hurting my eyes to look at it. I've looked for answers on your support page but I'm not coming up with anything that is working. Please help me. I work from home with my firefox and I've always loved it. But this is not going to work.

Hi, I'm just working on a new website, and I noticed something odd that happens only when I open the site via Firefox. On browsers like Safari and Chrome the rgb hex colour looks identical as in Adobe Photoshop or Apple Pages, where I created content, but Firefox seems to oversaturate the fonts quite nasty for some reason.

I attachted you a screenshot where it should be very visible. If this is a bug, is it possible to get this fixed soon? I don't really want to put a warning on my website for Firefox users if possible.

A complex website I created suddenly has multiple Windows Mozilla users complaining that the font size is smaller in Web forms. They've sent me screen shots and it's true. They say this occurred around Wednesday August 19, 2015.

No changes have been made to the website. There are a production and a test website and the problem exists in both places. The problem exists only on Mozilla on Windows, and multiple individual users have experienced it.

I have verified the font looks smaller on Mozilla. There is no such problem in Google Chrome.

Did an automatic update perhaps change the default font size? Possibly only the font size inside Web form fields?

On lots of websites text appear as an 'A' in a box (see screenshot - i've blurred some content due to privacy). I've gone through my preferences and checked 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above'. When I uncheck this box using my font selections things display fine however when I check it I get this problem. I'm a web developer so I can't override site fonts, I need them to display as intended. I've checked Chrome and Safari on my machine and they are fine so this problem is isolated to FireFox. I've tried restarting FF in safe mode but it made no difference, I went to the config page and changed network and gfx references back to 'reset' and again it doesn't make a difference.

System details: FF = 56.0 (64 bit) OSX = 10.9.5

As others have stated before we face issues where firefox displays text in question marks. We are running mac os 10.11.6 and 10.12.6 and we have the font manager Universal Type Client.

I know about the workaround of changing the sandboxing value to 1.

But I have two questions. Is there an easy way to deploy this setting to all my users (260+ users, sometimes multiple user profies on a single computer)?

And will there be a future release that addresses this issue?

Regards. Arno

Running <marquee> text on a page affects my sight. I stopped it using userChrome.css and userContent.css files under the ...\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7nahgl90.default\chrome folder. But after the last Firefox update, <marquee> texts run afresh. How can I disable this HTML tag? Thank you!

I have tried myself to create a website with some burmese font. But found a lot of burmese sites are embeded the font but still Firefox is the only one browser which cannot show correctly. I like to know why and is there any way to solve this ? Now on mac NOTO SAN is include and we do not need to install any of burmese font but still Firefox is expection. Seems like Firefox is leaving burmese people. I mean we have other browsers like chrome and safari but Firefox used to be the one and only application for us.

How do I get my fonts back like they were? I started pc in safe mode and since then the fonts are blurry and the size is too small. When I go to custom settings it says cd rom is needed. I don't have a cd rom. It also has copy files from ....I think it says c1386. So blurred I can barley see it. Any help would be very appreciated.

Printer tech here, I was troubleshooting a Sharp printer and ran into a strange issue when printing from Firefox. Client has a MAC - OS 10.13 I'm sorry I don't know offhand what version of FF it was but I can tell you that I was told "this is the latest version" when I attempted to update it.

It prints some fonts (webpage headings only perhaps) in a double print/font that makes it appear a bit garbled and unattractive. I'm quite certain it is not a printer issue because the same page prints fine from Chrome and iexplore. This forum will not adequately upload my sample images so I have posted them here: Firefox erroneous printing: https://i.imgur.com/KZ2kTTw.jpg (captain obvious put the bad print in red blocks for you) Chrome printing: https://i.imgur.com/PYuGH6a.jpg iexplore printing: https://i.imgur.com/qzBDXHE.jpg (BTW support folks I uploaded all three images to imgur, thought through, typed and posted this message before the first image was able to upload here...You may wanna take a look at that)

My client showed me several webpages he was having problems with, my samples are all the same page which is http://siica.sharpusa.com/product-downloads

What I have tried: All suggestions listed at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-printing-problems-firefox, including -Changing the default font -Resetting the Firefox printer settings -Resetting ALL Firefox printer settings (removed any lines containing "_print" in the the prefs.js file)

Any suggestions or assistance is greatly appreciated!
