Just updated Firefox to version 112.2 on my iPad which has iOS 15 Did the update via the apple App Store. Relaunched (restarted) Firefox and ALL tabs that were open are Gone! I can’t find the “restore previous session” option anywhere.

Can you tell me where to find it? How do I get the previous session back?!?

I’ve been using Firefox for years. Firefox not starting up after the update with all the previous tabs open is devastating to me. I need to get the previous session restored. Please help

I noticed that the text on Firefox Focus for Android - Frequently asked questions is wrong on how to delete a single tab. The link it points to has correct information, but the FAQ entry itself is wrong .

Also, in general, there is just some out of date information on there, like references to versions 6, 7, and 100.

Where do I report that?

Hi there, When I try to use Firefox Focus by tapping the search bar (see screenshot), my phone keyboard does not appear. No matter how many times I tap. I have tried clearing cache, deleting the app's data, restarting my phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. None of these fixed the issue. This makes the app completely unusable. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: The keyboard app I am using is Gboard - it came pre-installed on my phone.

Simple: Will there ever be more than four shortcuts within Firefox Focus for Android? This is the only limiting factor I don't understand. I love this browser for everything else it does better than the standard Firefox, but this is the limiting factor... I would understand if the screen would be full, but it is not. A 4x6 matrix, maybe adjustable in the options how much, fits perfectly on probably all mobiles. The "put shortcuts on mobile desktop" is not a solution, that is already full enough as it is.

I can't figure out why Firefox Focus for Android is opening Amazon links by default. It isn't set as the default browser, as far as I can tell it doesn't have anything set to open by default. Usually I have the option to choose which browser to open a link with because I have multiple browsers installed.

I'm using a Galaxy s22 Ultra running Android 13. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I have been experiencing problems with search suggestions in the search bar for over a year now, with delays or none showing up.

Since it did not occur only on my Fire Tablet, which was left old due to manual update, I investigated from which version it occurred and found that it occurred from v97.0.0-beta.3 and did not occur until v97.0.0-beta.2.

The conditions known so far are

• It only occurs in a specific fixed-line WIFI environment.
• The problem occurs on an IPv6/MAP-E line using IPoE.
• Changing DNS providers produces the same result.
• Even in the above environment, the problem does not occur when a proxy server is used.

I was planning to make a browser for android but can i use firefox focus to make it or any other chromium source but i find firefox more user friendly.what are the licenses what to keep and what to change in this browser and i wont upload this browser to public but just for mine and my friends use.is it ok to build firefox

I am trying to open about:config in Firefox Focus Android (normal version, no beta), and it does not open. Is this a bug or by design? Please not "by design". What I want to change: The number of rows on the shortcuts, since only four shortcuts are not enough.

To day 07.09.2023 at 12 Mid Day electricity went down. I was in the process of buying via internet at my PC the" enhanced tucking protection shield of Firefox. , I was several times over the past month reminded that it EXPIRED and needs renewal I gave details of my credit card, but am not sure if the transaction got completed. Because afterwards I could not find any trace of this transactipn at my PC and at my Firefox account, I am questioning ,if it was legal ?. Why is the " enhanced trucking protection " at present NOT LISTED between Furefox's products? please clarify.

Was it a legal transaction or a scam ? Was it completed or abounded ?

Please help to entangle these issues

I'm on a Pixel 7 and I use Firefox Focus as my default browser app for news/socials/daily browsing. It's not connected to any Google accounts and I erase as I go along to avoid cookies/marketing/ad tracking. I also run Bitdefender. Focus background data usage is off.

Today I ran out of mobile data and on checking apparently Firefox Focus used 9GB of foreground data just today. I'm not sure how, as I was only on mobile data for about an hour, and the phone was in my pocket for that time. It shows 11 minutes of screen time, but 49% of my battery used today.

Is this a bug, or have I been hacked/compromised?

Not sure whether this is related to an update on apple iOS 17.6.1 or Firefox focus. At one point it worked, then last update on both ends I'll say for now this problem reoccured again.

I use an apple iPad 11 Pro with Magic Keyboard. If i wanna type in the URL bar it simply doesnt allow for the curser to be placed in that area, however, if I detach the iPad from the Magic Keyboard the function returns and now I'm able to place curser in url bar and being typing an address.

Prior to this problem reoccurring once more with one of the updates, it was fine for a couple of months (perhaps from may till august - best guess but I have no idea), but before may (lets say) I also dealt with the same exact problem for over a year or more.

After using Firefox focus for a while on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra I will sometimes start seeing screen flickering which will affect the entire OS. Opening my keyboard and doing app switches will show tons of flickering as well but closing Firefox focus seems to make the issue go away.

Hello. For quite a while now, probably a year or so, I have not been able to see icons in Facebook when I use Focus on my iPhone.

I'm running iOS 16.6 currently, and Focus 119.0 (17290).

I am attaching screenshots of what the Facebook page looks like. All of the icons are just little squares, which is kind of annoying when trying to navigate. The navigation *works* -- it's just not showing on the page.

Is anyone else having this problem, and do you have any suggestions for fixing it?
