Hello,

since three or for days now the text in about 1/4 th of my E-Mails received in my inbox cannot be seen anymore. There is no text anymore displayed in the textfield, in messages where there was text before!!

It does ABSOLUTELY NOT DEPEND !!! on special types of messages. there are messages which I send to myself, with Attachements or not, with Graphics. etc in the textfiel or NOT !!! The error occurs in all kind of messages.

It has nothing to do with Junk or s. th. else. I´m woking with thunderbird for about 20 years now, I never had such an error! I installed a new installer "above" it. I also used the Error - restore - mode. Nothing happens, the error stays the same :-(

I tried -> Forwarding or s.th. else with the messages -> same issue -> the messages arrives with no text in it, too. I made no changes in thunderbird, I have no Plug-Ins or a.th. else installed, no Add-ons installed. The error just happened from one moment on. I have thunderbird on another laptop, too. here it still works normally, the same E-Mails are still ok there, means, the text is seen normally, like it was on my PC, where the problem is, before, too. In Screenshot you see an example where the text is missing.

Hope for a solution.

Hi, My inbox shows that there are messages in the inbox but it does not display them. Any action on the inbox gives the msg. "The current operation on "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account (my Optimum acct) responded: IMAP4 server terminated connection." I can see the messages on the Optimum website.

I forwarded my incoming mail to a Gmail account and can see the incoming msgs there. Also as can see them on my Apple phone.

Upgraded to latest version of Thunderbird. No help. Other folders seem okay. When I look at the ImapMail folder, I see the msf file for INBOX but I do not see a file for the inbox emails.

I am on Windows 11 and use MS Defender for security

Please help - Thunderbird is my workhorse and contains all my important files. Thank you! Carol

Hello there, I had an institutional Gmail account from my university. Since I no longer work there, they deactivated the account today. I saved all my mails on a local folder and removed the account from Thunderbird, however, it keeps asking me to log in in the deactivated account, which is impossible. I don't know how to fix this since the account is no longer listed in Thunderbird. Any suggestions?

I'm using Thunderbird Ver. 102.2.2. It was working fine & then yesterday it began failing to save copies of messages to the sent folder. The error message says as follows: "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. You can retry or save the message locally to Local Folders/Sent-brad@goodharris.com"

I've restarted it & tried changing the settings to specifically save to the sent folder with no success. I can save to another local folder, but I want them in the sent folder where they belong.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

As of this morning, for some reason, certain websites present, random garbled text where normal text should be. This occurs on some sites and not on others. My second computer, running an earlier Mac OS, is working just fine, and other browsers don't have this problem.

Hello, on my project we have a requirement to support a specific version of Firefox, which is 45.0.2. I downloaded it from ftp.mozilla.org, but when I'm launching browser, it just displays an invisible window with shadow border (see screenshot below).

My device: MacBook Pro 14 2021 M1 Pro, OS X Ventura (13.0.1)

I guess it has something to do with an M1 chip, but is there any way to fix it?

Everytime I go to Michael's. Com or Hobby Lobby .com my scrolling starts to stick I like click on ornaments let's sat. It will scroll the first few then it's Jerry and no matter how many times I try to scroll down it keeps popping back to where it got stuck at. One of my favorite web sites is www.cam4.com. It is an adult live streaming web site. My computer freezes when I'm watching one of the "performers". I refresh the page all is OK for min. or so.

When I use MS Edge I don't get the freezing. Firefox is my default browser for more years than I can count. What is going on? Is there a fix?

Since the most current Firefox update in June 2022, when in Yahoo Mail and downloading an attachment, as the download complete, the Yahoo Mail tab is automatically closing, requiring I to go to 'History', then 'Recently Closed' tabs to re-open it. This happens Every.Single.Time I download photos and scanned docs from email. Again, this has never happened before - only with the recent Firefox update. I have 2021 a MacBook Pro.

Beginning about a month ago, I started noticing that Firefox was causing disk utilization on my Windows 10 Pro PC to go up to 100 % disk utilization and stay there for 2 or 3 minutes. My PC was timing out on other applications. Eventually it would return to normal levels but as I'd continue to use it and open additional tabs and windows of Firefox, the problem would repeat and get worse.

As time went on, I started getting to periods where the PC would become completely unresponsive and the disk utilization would to to 100% and stay there for 10+ minutes. I'd be forced to do a shutdown/restart but that might take as long as 15 minutes to shutdown.

Firefox (64 bit) v107.0 is what's currently installed on my system. My PC is a Dell Precision desktop with 16 GB of memory and a 1 TB WD Blue SSD for the C: drive.

I did try the Firefox refresh but that had no effect.

I started using Chrome and do not have any disk usage issues with it. I've also used MS Edge as well and disk utilization stays at normal levels, even with 10 or more tabs or windows open simultaneously.

I searched online and have seen complaints about Firefox causing this problem but all those are from 3+ years ago. Nothing recent. One fix suggested uninstalling the 64 bit version and going with the 32 bit.

Any suggestions?

Hi dear community,

recently, a client company which provided me with an Exchange mailbox switched to "modern authentication", which caused my old configuration not to work any longer.

I tried to change authentication method from "standard password" to "oauth2", as I have done it before with others, but I face a weirdly display password prompt (see screenshot1), with no field nor "ok" button.

Moreover, console contains error messages (see screenshot2) that I am not able to understand, but which seem related to the same web content displaying.

I tested accessing the same mbox with Apple Mail and it worked like a breathe, so it does not seem to come from the provider.

Version I use is: Thunderbird 102.3.3, on macOS (11.6.2, also tested on 12.6 without success). Cookies are accepted in Thunderbird parameters.

Any help would be very appreciated - please tell me if you need further info to analyze.

I've had to delete all of my emails because my "inbox was full" and I wasn't able to receive any more emails. My account is currently completely empty, every single folder is empty, trash is empty, sent mail, inbox, all of it. I've scoured through these online forums to find solutions and I've completed all of the steps to free up storage. My account is now completely bare and is still 96% full in terms of storage. This is frustrating as I've had to delete important emails and this still hasn't fixed the problem.

Can you please clear my cache, my storage, whatever you need to do, I need my email to be completely empty.
