Is anyone having an issue with Firefox and Telstra Webmail. I am able to log in but it just stays on the page with the 3 dots flashing. I can get into emails on Chrome and on my phone just not on my laptop. It only started yesterday I refreshed FF and cleared history,but problem is still occurring. Not sure if it is a Telstra issue or FF issue.

Most of the time it is when I am using Facebook and have more than one tab open.

At the moment it's a waste of time having tabs as options because I can't use more than one at a time or else every single page comes up with this error... a web page is slowing down your browser

Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to get it to stop - I have search the net and changed and tweaked a few settings but nothing has made any difference at all.

I have an HCL BigFix WebReports server setup behind an AWS ALB with SAML authentication using Okta. Once successful SAML authentication occurs, Firefox throws the below attached secure connection failed page. The page loads fine with Chrome, IE, Edge Things I've tried: 78.5.0esr and 83.0 on a windows machine with NO antivirus installed Clearing all cache Using private windows Complete uninstall & reinstall

       spun up a clean windows VM loaded FF (with & without the below settings changed)

I have referenced https://www.clickssl.net/blog/secure-connection-failed-firefox with no success. About:config => security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling changed to false with no success security.enterprise_roots.enabled changed to true with no success configured the above options one at a time and both at the same time I have also run the following to verify SSL is working C:\Users\>curl -vk https://patch.emp.nwnit.com

hallo like the tile say "after update to version 78.5.0 (32-Bit) nearly all my contacts are deleted." please help me, how do I get them back, a step back before update is not more possible saw it to late. there was to much updates last week.

also funny is that there is a list with no named folder in the adressbook list you see left on the screenshot.

my last saving of the adressbook is also to old, forgot to save them last year :(

would be great to hear from someone.

Hi,

Basically all included in the title - Gmail account on Thunderbird stopped working - gets stuck on "Connected to imap.gmail.com".

I tried to remove this account from saved passwords (it was helping in the past). I reinstalled Thunderbird. I removed this account and recreated it again.

When I create account it does not accept the password - but it does not matter, since OAuth2 should appear new window to type in credentials. I does not appear. When I click to download messages on the bottom bar I have info: "Connected to imap.gmail.com...". And it stays that way.

I also allowed less secured apps to use google account (probably unnecessary since Thunderbird works well on my secondary laptop).

Can you advise me what else can I do?

I almost always have to tap multiple times....like 7 or 8 times ... to get a link to open. This happens on almost all sites...google, mozilla.org, my own site. Responses are immediate if I go into FireFox settings and tap around. Also, all other taps are immediate...like mail, calculator, etc. That includes tapping a link in an email. The page will open with one tap but then any links on the page will take many taps.

The phone is a Sony Model G8441 running Android 9. Build number 47.2.A.11.228

Hi every one , sometime ago i was not receiving mail any longer , I did something(can't remember what) and managed to create a second identical account(!) and started receiving mail again . But now even the second one has stopped receiving mail on my computer. Also a friend has mentioned that recently his mails to me were rejected on account of being blacklisted!

I have an Ipad, and the mail comes through without problems.

Hi there - I upgraded today to 78.4 (from 68) in order to allow multi factor authentication (and stay compatible w/ my work Office365 account). Everything seems to have gone fine except that when I open my address book, the only address books included are my de_junk_list and my LDAP. My personal Address Book (decades of addresses) is empty. I'd like to restore those missing addresses to my address book, but am unsure how to do so. Thank you for any advice!

When visiting common government websites like supremecourt.gov, I cannot download court opinion PDF files. When I tap to download the court's PDFs, Firefox "begins to download" but never actually downloads. It just hangs. Using Samsung Galaxy S9+. Tested with and without VPN; with and without External DL manager; disabled add-ons and security features; reset Firefox did nothing.

Webmail at ISP all OK - it all goes wrong when TBird downloads them.

Used TBird for 15+ years = no problems.

Have donated in recent past to Mozilla.

Help!

Good day, I just updated my Thunderbird to Version 78.5.1 (32-bit), and all of a sudden, my bulk folder is missing. When I go to my webmail, I can see there are messages in the junk folder, but they don't show on TB's junk folder. Usually, those messages showed up in my Bulk folder; but well, it's gone now. For interest's sake, I use the IMAP settings and have been using TB for about 8 years and this is the first time I'm having any kind of problem. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Thunderbird for years. After the most recent update in late July 2020 (78.0.1), Thunderbird no longer works. It will not download new mail. It does connect to the IMAP server but then gets to "checking mail server capabilities" and hangs with the spinning circle indefinitely.

I have not done anything to Thunderbird, I just let it install the update. I did not install updates to any other program on my PC. I'm running Windows 10 on a laptop that is about 4 months old. Thunderbird worked absolutely fine before the 78 update.

I am not experiencing any connection issues or problems with any other running programs.

I have tried the following fixes already: 1. Checking my account configuration and confirming it is correct with my email provider. I have the correct ports listed and correct server names. 2. Changing the timeout setting from 100 to 2000. 3. I am able to access my email on my provider's Web interface so this isn't a password issue. There is no CAPTCHA required either. 4. I checked my anti-virus/anti-malware program (Kapersky). Thunderbird and Mozilla are both listed in the "allowed apps" list. I tried removing them both and re-adding, as well as searching for other variations of Mozilla/Thunderbird to add. I also tried Kapersky's "refresh" function. 5. I tried restarting my computer. 6. I tried rebooting my wireless Internet connection. 7. I tried using Thunderbird's "start in safe mode with apps disabled" function. 8. I tried re-installing 78. 9. I tried clearing caches and cleaning with CC Cleaner.

Nothing has worked. Something in the 78.0.1 update has messed things up. Thank you for looking into this.

This has just recently started with this constant crashing of my Firefox. I'm doing computer work and then it crashes. I submitted the crash reports that were not submitted this morning on December 02, 2020. Yet, two of the crash reports failed to submit.

Why are messages on Gmail accounts moving to "All Mail" when Deleted and Settings are for "Trash"

I'm relatively new to Thunderbird, and I'm found that when I "delete" e-mails from my inbox on a gmail account, the emails end up in the "All Mail" folder... the "Trash" remains empty. This is a bit frustrating, for obvious reasons.

I have gone through multiple processes to figure out a solution, but I do need some additional help here. So far: -I have made sure my setting for "When I delete messages" it is moved to Trash on my gmail account. (This actually does not happen at all, it just archives things to "all mail" instead of deleting them! The Trash folder remains empty) -I've checked to see if my Trash is corrupted, according to this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cannot-delete-messages However when I check on "Show In Finder" the directory "Thunderbird" is shown, which itself is empty.... making the other steps in the article moot.

Any help here?

Firefox keeps displaying '400 Bad Request Request Header Or Cookie Too Large' when trying to read articles on www.bloomberg.com.

It only happens when using this site and only on Firefox and not on Safari or Chrome.

How to fix this and be able to use Firefox as default browser for this site?
