Since I updated to Firefox 67.0.1 I was not able to access any content via online banking. After logging in I could only see a blank screen. I contacted the bank and they told me that they no longer offer on-line banking for Firefox users as they had identified a security threat with the saved usernames and passwords. They will only support Google Chrome. I wasn't best pleased as I really don't want to install or use google chrome. Bank in question is Weatherby's bank at https://odbx.weatherbysbank.com/digital/#/login Any suggestions welcome!

Very suddenly, Google Hangouts no longer works with Firefox, as of the evening of June 11th. I tried Firefox add-ons but they don't work. I can open Google Hangouts page, but cannot use the messaging utility. I used it for years until last night. Apparently, a plug-in is missing or doesn't work.

Ich kann die mail nicht "anhalten" Bei anderen browsern wie Opera oder Ciqz passiert dies nicht. Das Problem tritt auch auf bei einem anderen laptop, der am gleichen Router hängt aber mit eigener e-mail -Anschrift arbeitet und keine add-ons verwendet.

I find the autocomplete experience just awful. I type the first few letters of a site I've visited for the past few days and it's only the 5th match down, requiring me to arrow down to it or use my mouse (tsk tsk). Instead, sites I used to visit a lot appear near the top, or search suggestions. Up until 3 days ago I was able to delete individual cookies. I would click on the remove selected cookies in the manage cookies pop up window. Next I would click on save changes button. I would click on remove button in the drop down removing cookies window. Then the drop down window and the manage cookies pop up window would both close and my selected cookies would be deleted.
Now everything is the same until I get to the drop down removing cookies window. I click on the remove button and the drop down removing cookies window closes, but the pop up manage cookies stays open and the cookies I selected to delete are not deleted.
I don't know if it's a bug or what. I have restarted firefox - still doesn't work. I have restarted my Mac - it still doesn't work.
Hopefully someone can help me.

Firefox Developer Edition (67.0b5) is my default browser I'm running windows 10.
if Firefox is running and i click on a link in my email, Firefox will open a new tab and show the page. if Firefox is NOT running and I click on a link, Firefox will open a blank tab; I'll have to click the link again - without closing Firefox - for the page to show.
this behavior is fairly new - about 4 updates back.

I had a system crash, probably with Firefox opened.
After restarting PC and starting Firefox, most of the addons I have had lost all of their settings and were reset to default - Tampermonkey lost all the scripts I had installed, uBlock lost all settings and rules, etc. Weirdly some extensions kept portions of their settings, like TreeTabs saved tree structure despite also getting reset to default.
Additionally Firefox also got its own settings reset to default, while the tabs from my session and bookmarks were saved.
Is there any way to recover addon and Firefox settings, is there any backup of them?

Since update to 67.0b7 this morning, every password field offers "View Saved Logins" . I do not save logins. I will not save logins. I cannot find any setting to stop this behaviour. It is visually distracting, though it doesn't prevent login activity.
signon.autofillForms is false.
I strongly suspect is has something to do with "sync", because some "sync" thingie (maybe firefox account?) showed up in my toolbar after the update; I removed it. I don't use "sync".
(NB: I tried to upload an image, it is still "spinning" so I don't know if it will be attached. )

I'm trying to allow notifications for a website. I expected to select preferences from the address bar button drop down, go to notifications, and have the address of the website there in the search field, and have the option to allow it.
Instead, there is nothing in the search field. If I manually add an address to the field, nothing changes. No option to "add', only options to remove sites.
Maybe a site will only be there if it is set up for notifications?
Please explain.

I am using Video Download Helper with companion app, when downloading videos, the DownloadHelper will uses only one process of Firefox with very high CPU and memory usage. . Ans cause it does not take advantage of all the CPU cores it is very slow, and uses high memory for that process and will make all tabs in Firefox slow.
It seems that this process is the core process for Firefox, although it is a sub-process. It is the process that almost doesn't uses GPU memory.
When finished, if I killed this Firefox process to clean memory, cause it will just accumulate the memory in that specific process, all the tabs in the Firefox will crash and can't be refreshed, until I close Firefox and open it again.
Usually when I kill a Firefox process that is not responding, it will crash a few tabs and they can be refreshed after that.
Is there anyway that can make the companion app uses all processes for Firefox, so it will distribute the CPU usage to all cores, and if used a high memory it will be distribute the memory to all process and will be easier to clean.

When Firefox apparently updated itself while I was away from my computer, all of my Bookmarks vanished. I did not authorize this act, and am upset since I have a LARGE number of Bookmarks on my P.C. Why did the latest Firefox update seem to wipe out all Bookmarks? How can I recover the ones I've always stored in the Firefox Web interface? Recovering these Bookmarks is essential. Under Privacy and Security, I have checked the box to "Ask to Save Logins and Passwords for Websites".
Under Saved Logins, there are no saved logins/passwords.
Is it normal that opened bookmark tab is placed at the end of the tab list?

I realised this after a while, that this happen and that it is not good. Hyperlinks tabs are placed at the beginning of the tab list and bookmark tabs are added to the end which causes unnecessary scrolling when having many tabs open. So, can i make both open one way? How? I was search in about:config and can not find any setting.
Is it normal (happen in your case) that the opening bookmark (i am holding Ctrl key because i do not want to reuse current tab) place the tab at the end of the tab list?
