Not sure when this started - i.e. with a recent windows update or with a mozilla update. I have tried to resync mozilla too.

See attached image - basically on starting mozilla/google I do not have any borders showing for the search fields and no pictures show up - I thought at first it might be "Pocket" related but attached image is with Pocket Disabled... This I believe was working absolutely fine yesterday - though I didn't use the computer for anything other than flying P3D.

Can someone kindly help me with this?

I received an email I know has an attachment but it does not show anything in the body of the email when I'm in Firefox. When I open Gmail in Opera or Safari, and look at that same email, the attachment and content is there. But in Firefox, there is no content in the body of the email whatsoever.

When Firefox opens it starts with four or five running processes. As I use it, the memory consumed by these processes continuously grows until each one is running > 200,000 K of working memory. Eventually I get a warning that the computer is almost out of memory, and if I continue the computer freezes and I have to reboot the system. This has been going on for about six months -- never happened before that. Why does Firefox require so much memory, and why does this problem seem to be getting worse? Thank you.

While I have had problems with the memory leak ever since the switch to Quantum. It seems to have gotten worse in version 61.0.2. In older version I only had problems on Facebook. Now Facebook has bad memory leakage withing 2 minutes as apposed to 10-15 before. and I now have leakage problems every where on the internet after 20 minutes or so. I have tried all the solutions in the "Firefox uses too much RAM" article. None worked and I am getting tired of Mozilla blaming it on extensions. When are they going to fix this and stop trying to blame it on everyone else?

Hey Guys & Gals,

My Windows 8.1 pc Firefox has been hijacked by bing.

I have paid malwarebytes and scans clean. I have no Adaware or web companion install. Virus protection scan clean as well.

I opened firefox about:config and search for bing and sure enough its listed there 3 times.

browser.search.order.2 default string Bing browser.search.order.US.2 default string data:text/plain,browser.search.order.US.2=Bing' browser.translation.engine default string bing

Can I just delete the values from those 3 sections?

Thanks in advance Grendor

Latest update seems to be blocking, or not allowing Google or my Gmail. This should be even more frustrating since my Mozila account is linked to my Gmail account and all responses will go to that address.

I know the protocol. I've cleaned out my cache, several times. At fist i thought it was a problem with Google, and it may be, considering how "defensive" this browser can be sometimes, but I am able to access it in IE & Chrome, as well as Gmail, but I cannot access it with Firefox. All other sites appear to render without a problem. That said, I keep getting the error page "Secure Connection Failed."

I want to grab all the links from several webpages. How can I do that? I can open them in Firefox, but how do I grab all their links? Can I save all the opened tabs at once and then scan them for specific links? Or do you know any other way? Thanks!

Just that, suddenly will just shut down. Occasionally get the crash message but not always. This is a Windows 10 64 bit PC

Have followed instructions for similar events: Disabled all extensions and add-ons Uninstalled all estensions and add -ons Disabled hardware acceleration Started in safe mode - never actually replicated it in safe mode but then it can go quite a while without happening, other times it happens every 5 minutes. Uninstalled and re-installed from fresh Looked for any Mozilla folders to delete in Program Data, Program files and Program files (x86) but there weren't any after uninstalling. Still happening, driving me nuts especially after just having spent ages solving a different firefox problem on my wife's laptop. Edge just runs smooth as silk unfortunately. Nothing worse than gettig halfway through filling a form/booking something for it to just close down.

Many sites include migraine-inducing animations. It's hard to block these animations, but maybe it would be easier to run them to completion before reading the pages.

Right now, Firefox doesn't run the animations while the tabs are in the background, only when we move them to the foreground, and try to read them, and this means sites can punch users precisely when we are vulnerable to the migraine-inducing animations.

Ideally, I'd like some way to complete all time-based and scroll-position-based and exit-based animations, including sticky elements, first, so I can remove them and read the page at my leisure without getting hit by these animations. But completeling any category would help.

I have been having a problem with synchronizing the tabs from my desktop version of Firefox to my iPhone so I came to this support page today to try and get a solution.

I tried to sign into my account here and Firefox kept giving me an error message saying my details were wrong even though they were not. I decided to reset my password and update the email on my account to the primary one I now use.

After resetting the password and changing / confirming the new email address, I signed out of my account on my computer and attempted to sign back into the account using the new email and password but it says my details are incorrect / there is no account with this email, Even though there is.

So how long do I need to wait for Firefox's I.T. system to process the new login details so I can sign in using the new login?

I've used Firefox a long time without any issues on my old PC (i5-7400, 8gb RAM).

I got a new PC (I5-8400, 8gb RAM) and it just crashes my whole pc all the time, usually I have to turn it off because it locks my whole pc up.

I've tried turning hardware acceleration off and tried turning on prevent accessibility services which doesn't make a difference. I've also tried reinstalling.

Hi

I log in to my Firefox account in Firefox browser and sync, everything is well, but when I close the browser and run CCleaner, then open the Firefox and check the "Firefox Account" under the "Option" or from the hamburger menu (on the top right corner), my account is logged out and need to log in again!

I don't have this issue in Chrome browser, and my account in Chrome always is connect and log in automatically, but not in Firefox. As you see in the attachment image, all check boxes for both browsers (Chrome and Firefox) checked and same, and seems every time I use and run CCleaner, Chrome should behaves like Firefox and logged out, while just Firefox logged out from my account automatically after running CCleaner. Just because of this issue I don't like to set Firefox as a default my browser. Do you how to fix this issue?

Thank You

Masoud

I use firetox to browse youtube, FB, and some blog. But, when I use for a while time, I felt my PC slow down, and check task manager, it shows that Superfetch is using my disk to release some memory for Firefox, and my Firefix use 17% of CPU and about 5G memory in one process(there are more than one process), it almost use 99% memory I have, and suddenly the usage goes down to hundreds of megabyte.

I have tried disable addons, refresh Firefox.

Firefox is up to date P.S. It is hard to open about:memory because I will get stuck when it happened.
