Hello! I try to look video with Widevine Classic Encryption. It's corporate link and I can not give it. I try open page with Widevine Video Optimizer plugin and it suggest me install plugin by link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/widevine/thankyou.html Plugin can not install by this link with text: Pluggin can not be installed because extension is damaged on this site.(rough description error)

OS Windows 7 Firefox version ESR 52.2.1 (64-bit)

What do you think about it? And would like to anybody can repeat this actions and install Widevine Video Optimizer.

as of 8/31 all my firefox files seem to be corrupted on one of my PCs (win7 pro; use this pc mostly for WMC so hadn't noticed this before). files/folders all are dated 08/31 and the .exe file "icon" in explorer is the generic one (not the firefox symbol). firefox no longer appears in list of programs or on the task bar. if I locate the .exe file in the program folder and try to run it I get an error message "this version of the file is not compatible...". Never had a problem with it before. Also running Firefox on two other PCs and android phone (synching bookmarks etc between devices). tried to uninstall using windows and get error message that program is already uninstalled (its not). how do I resolve this?? concerned that there are broken bits not only in the folders but in the registry etc that may cause problems in future. Help please!!

Every time I convert a video to mp3 or mp4 and then download it, the file will automatically open and play. How can I stop it from automatically opening and playing.

Do I need to reinstall another version of FF? Please advise.

Today I changed the following two OCSP settings from False to True:

security.OCSP.GET.enabled;true security.OCSP.require;true

Since then I'm unable to go to google.com, get the error message:

"Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. The OCSP server experienced an internal error. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_SERVER_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

But, at the same time I have no problem loading any other major websites like DuckDuckgo, rt.com, cnn.com, etc.

So, could someone help me to figure out why Google is not secure for me?

Been trying to get Google Hangouts video calls to work in Firefox. Text chat workks fine. I've found out about the issue with the video plugin not running on recent versions, and therefore got myself a Portable Edition of Firefox 52.5.3 ESR. However, that's failing in the exact same way as when I ted it in 57. That is, when I try to start a video call, it demands I install th plugin, goes through the motions of installing it and finally says "Installation complete". Hoewver, the wonido that says "Verifying installation..." reaminds open, clicking on the link in it that says "Click here if the page doesn't refresh automatically after install." has no effect, and when I try again to start a video call, it goes back to asking for the plugin.

Any idea if there's any possible way I can get the thing to work? It really would be useful. I'm a bit puzzled, in fact, by why the help article says that the plugin isn't supported in versions 52 or later and therefore you should use version 52 to run it!

I am unable to login into my hot mail when I click on the bookmark, also when I try typing it in search it will not come up shows error when i use another device like my I pad I can get access. my system is Ubuntu with Mozilla Firefox

I've been using hushmail.com for years. All of a sudden, just now, firefox is saying its insecure:

"secure.hushmail.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown. I easily accessed hushmail in safari. I'm signed in right now.

Any issues with me making an exception?

The message is sent form Windows 10 from Goggle. Subject is New sign-in from Firefox on Windows. The message is the Your Goggle Account bellbill1101@gmail.com was just used to sign in from Firefox on Windows. What does this mean? I received this message when I signed into my Asus tablet.

can't logn into lastpass from menu bar. to get last pass to work i have to in install it and re install it each time i turn my computer off. any thoughts will help.

Earlier today my Comodo IceDragon updated itself to v52.0.0.4, after which the search bar had vanished and only appears when I place the cursor over any open tabs. This happens instantly and prevents me from accessing any tabs. I have the Classic Theme Restorer addon installed but cannot find any option that will solve this.

In desperation I opened Firefox thinking that I would at least be able to use that but it too has the same problem. How do I override this and get back to 2 different toolbars, one for tabs and one for the search/address bar please?

Recently, for some reason my firefox started doing this. I do programing as a hobby and I saw that firefox was opening all links with target="_blank" in a new window instead of a new tab. This started happening about the time I cleared a virus from my computer and also I reinstalled firefox because of problems with java.

when I use Firefox ESR version 52.6.0 32 bit , ,the browser is doing its thing in finding and I'm observing the wait time for the web site to open and it is anywhere from 35 to 65 seconds .. WHY? I use Mcafee virus and also have lastpass installed and running in background .. is there anything ai can do to speed up the process like it was back in the old days of windows 98??
