For online editing the proof of a mathematics article, the website of the journal (Geometriae Mathematica) says I need to enable Javascript, by doing the following:
" In Edit menu –>Preferences->Advanced->Scripts & Plug-ins -> if Navigator check box is unchecked, check the tick box."
But I don't see "Scripts & Plugins" anywhere.
Please advise.

I'm running Windows 10 Home, 64 bit and Firefox 42 32 bit. What is the proper way to install Firefox 43 64 bit? I've downloaded the 64 bit package, but it wants to install in Program Files (x86) instead of the proper (for 64 bit programs) Program Files. I was hesitant to change the installation directory thinking this would result in leftover Firefox 32 bit files in Program Files (x86). Am I better off letting Firefox update itself to 43 and would this result in a 64 bit upgrade install?

Since upgrading to Firefox 42 (Mac), browser does NOT keep me logged in to Verizon webmail account even though I repeatedly click to keep me logged in. It logs me out BOTH if I quit that Firefox session and restart later --AND-- if that Firefox is left running and the webmail browser window/tab is "inactive" for a period of time then I go back to it. This behavior did NOT occur in previous version of FF. This behavior also does NOT occur under these circumstances when using Safari browser. ... I have read posts & replies by others experiencing this same or similar problem behaviors. I DID try :
- clearing cache, - deleting all Verizon cookies for possible corruptions, - checking Privacy Settings, being sure to use "Custom Settings" & NOT using Private Browsing (see screen shot) - writing exception for cookies to verizon.com & webmail.verizon.com
... Don't know what else to do. Curious that this does NOT seem affect *most* other sites (that I've noted)
AND that it did NOT occur with earlier version of Firefox nor with other browsers.

I then made exceptions to this default with the exceptions tab or through a cookie manager add-on. Since the last recent Firefox update, this no longer works. Nothing in cookie exceptions does anything. In addition to not letting me allow cookies, it will also not let me block cookies when I do check the "except cookies from sites" option. The Cookie Exceptions Do Nothing. I will appreciate any real help.

I got my first android device,a yoga tab pro2 and find that firefox exists but seems to have none of the basic features of the desktop version. There seems to be no way to import bookmarks I have in an html file on dropbox and memory stick,no way of organizing bookmarks into folders, no way of getting to your bookmarks quickly like the bookmarks bar I had when I used the old laptop where all folders where always visible and simply droped down. Bookmarks are essential and the most basic requirement of all and they seem to be non existent in the mobile version. I have about 700 Bookmarks all organized and sync is not an option since the tablet is my only device now.

I tried going back to the mode where I have add-ons, then I disabled ALL ADD-ONS, but the facebook social plugins are not there anymore.
So I'm confused now. So is the source of the problem really the add-ons??? Because I literally disabled every single one of them (but they weren't removed) and the FSP are still nowhere to be found (in any/every possible site)

I use FlashPlayer to watch videos on YouTube. To get rid of the notification "Press Esc To Exit Full Screen Mode," I went to about:config and changed the value of "full-screen-api.approval-required" to false. It worked until I restarted Firefox and now it doesn't.
As a matter of fact, every time I restart Firefox, it does a lot of things against my Preferences, too. It signs me out of YouTube and every other site even though I have the box checked to NOT do that.
Any real answers or am I deleting Firefox permanently and going back to Safari?

In C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles there is one profile (qanl58lx.default) and my extensions is in the profile folder, but in Firefox options/extensions there are none. This has been going on for some time, but suddently 2 days ago a window for every extension showed up and asked for updating, which was done, and now extensions were shown inOptions/extensoins. But today they are all gone again. I have scanned for malware and there are none.

But I do not have Preferences under Tools. I have Tools > Downloads, Add-Ons, Apps, Set up your sync... , Web Developer, Page Info, and options.

I updated Flash in Firefox 42.0 to version 2.0.0.235. It crashed 90% of the time, even with hardware acceleration off. It does not crash with Flash Protected Mode turned off. I then updated Firefox to 43.0. Flash crashes every time, even with Flash Protected Mode off. No Flash problems on this Win-10 PC with Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Seems that FIrefox 43 and Flash are incompatible. Hopefully Mozilla and/or Adobe will fix in the next release.

I haven't had any similar problems until early Tuesday evening. Then, I can log in into Yahoo Mail, but can't do anything after logging in - after a while it says "Taking too long? Load Basic Mail". I'm then able to go to Basic Mail, but Basic Mail only, not regular e-mail, so all of the formatting, etc. gets messed up on reply, etc. I tried opening Firefox in Safe Mode, but no help. I tried opening in regular mode with cache and all cookies removed, but no help. Private Browsing also does not help. However, I am able to log into regular Yahoo Mail through IE. Please help. I had been using Norton Toolbar with Norton Identity Safe extensively on your browser. I don't remember all of my passwords and I use the Norton app for this. Without it working on your browser, I need to use a different browser, which I do not necessarily want to do. I worked fine for years until a recent update of the browser. How do I use the two things I like together, again??
Just installed" Flash & Video Download 1.77", can't see any different labels on the selections to download on Facebook.
All files are just labeled with my Facebook name, followed by the file download size. Not very helpful.
