Hi This is a follow up to the issue described in this previous article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1041949

I am having the same issue with the copy and paste function while in gmail. When I copy and paste formatted text from an email within gmail to a new email that I a writing, the formatting is lost. I have noticed this occurring since the firefox 36 and above upgrades. I have therefore been using FF 35 as this version allows the copy and paste in Gmail for formatted content. As you will see from my images, the format of the copied content is not preserved. Please assist

These crashes have been occuring several times a day. :( Like last time, these were all caused by the fact that I had deleted several critical stability plugins the year before. I can reinstall them, but there's one problem. I don't remember their names.

The (dinosaur) ISP Juno from California just unveiled a new startup page, StartJuno.com.

It doesn't look too different from the previous version of startup page.

It appears to load as usual, but for the time being pops up a box asking to take the viewer on a tour of the page's features.

Whether or not one goes through the tour, which is pretty mundane, afterward the cursor goes to 'wait'.

FF doesn't go into build-up-HUGE-amounts-of-memory mode, but just stops responding.

This appears to be FF-exclusive. No such problems IE or Chrome.

Hey Guys & Gals,

Lately I have been getting emails thanking me for contributions that look like they come from Mozilla, but the links in the emails are strange. The links show a website called support.allizom.org and almost every link goes to some link on that site.

Now I don't recall making any contributions as the emails say.

So my question is are these emails i am getting fake/spoof emails?

Thanks in advance Gren

Unlike other posters who describe crashes while trying to stream Netflix due to Silverlight issues, the movies will in fact stream, but so slowly they are unwatchable. The audio keeps going but the video freezes and then skips. This has only begun to happen with the last 1 or 2 Firefox updates, and the last update is what has made Netflix unusable. I've spoken to Netflix tech support and their suggestion was to install Google Chrome and use it to stream Netflix. I will do this if I must, but would prefer Firefox if you folks can come up with a fix for this.

running Win 7 x 64 on laptop. I refreshed Mozilla 41.0.1 because it was really laggy.

Unfortunately the lag seemed to get worse rather than better.

Also, I added back (only) the OneTab extension & was working on restoring what I had on there. Unfortunately, the import/export link loaded a page that constantly froze & also caused Mozilla to crash twice.

I got a unresponsive script message. Script: resource://gre/modules/commonj…-dot-com/onetab/data/import.js:5

Waiting did nothing. Debugging gave me a "This page has no sources." message.

I see a lot of plugins are still installed, even after refresh? That seems abnormal?

Thanks for any help.

Whenever I open Firefox, a new tab pops up with Yahoo search on it. It doesn't happen when I create a new tab. I have tried disabling all my addons, in and out of safe mode. I have tried going to about:config > browser.newtab.url but I don't have an entry that says browser.newtab.url I've deleted my history, my cookies.. anything I can without losing things... and it still pops up.

This is driving me crazy, and I am tempted to uninstall firefox all together, because I just don't know what else to do. Please help, and thanks!

For the last week every time I start a flash game it crashes before it even gets past the loading screen and I've uninstalled Flash downloaded the latest Flash, refreshed Firefox, disabled Acceleration, turned off Protected-Mode, even used Firefox in safe mode. Nothing has solved my issue I installed Windows 10 awhile ago so don't know if that is the issue.

I have been using Wins 10 with FF 41.0.2 since 9/4/15, but when I logged on today, suddenly I'm presented with SOMETHING requiring a PW which I closed out thinking it was a new widget on FF. However when I restarted FF, it came back and I found no way to simply start FF as I have been using it since Sept 2015. I then downloaded FF and reinstalled hoping it would simply refresh with all my data, however, it did not and now ALL my prior settings, PWs, cookies, Add-ons, etc are GONE. What has Mozilla done???????????????

After I updated Firefox to version 41.0.2 on Windows 7, I can no longer use Fiddler4 to decrypt HTTPS traffic because the root certificate exported from Fiddler is no longer being recognized by Firefox. Firefox appears to be rejecting the "wildcard" domain name used in the certificates generated by Fiddler. It always gives the error "ssl_error_bad_cert_domain".

For example, going to https://login.comcast.com with Fiddler turned on:

login.comcast.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for *.comcast.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

It is especially a problem for sites using HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) such as google.com, because an exception cannot be added for these sites and it requires the root CA to be recognized.

www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for *.google.com (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

I have tried clearing all history and website permissions, deleting the cert8.db file, disabling/re-enabling the HTTPS decryption and regenerating the certificate in Fiddler, removing the Fiddler-generated root certificate from the certificate authorities list in Firefox and re-adding it, all to no avail. I could not find any documentation online for this issue, as the Telerik website indicates that adding the certificate to the root CAs in Firefox options should be enough.

What has changed in Firefox, and why would the browser fail to recognize these root certificates? Is there some new further security tightening that's been introduced?

Is anyone else able to update Firefox and use the normal method of adding the Fiddler root CA? Do you run into the same problem or does it work for you?

I am running a desktop with windows 8.1. The administrator account works perfectly. The local account even if the user is set to be an administrator will not allow Google or Yahoo to be displayed. It does not give the option to make the site an exception. Browser stated there are certificate errors and the sites are not secure. It only does this when the local user account is being used. The local account is my daughters and I am using Microsoft family safety to monitor her web browsing activities. I do not have Google or yahoo blocked in any way. Is there a work around for this a she does use Google extensively for her school assignments?

Thank you Phil Montalvan
