Command+r used to refresh pages for me, but for some reason has stopped working in Firefox. It's easy enough to remap the command to a menu item, but the refresh page menu item in Firefox is gone! It used to be under View. I've looked in all the menus but the refresh page command appears to have been removed. Of course, I can use the icons, but that's just cumbersome.

I want to preface this by saying I'm on the latest update of Firefox Beta for Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.4.

For about 2 days now my text cursor moves back to the beginning of the text box when I begin to type. I've seen it happen on Twitter, WhatsApp Web, and Medium (which is the worst offender, typing completely backwards). I know that by being on beta I should expect a bug or two, but I wouldn't think something like this would slip through.

Does anyone know a fix for that? I'm only planning on staying on beta till Firefox 40 comes out, but I'd still like to not pull my hair out until then.

In the new versions of Firefox, the general preferences/settings/options are opening in new tab. This is really painful when operating with multiple tabs.

Is there a way to revert this to the old way i.e. opening general options in different window?

I upgraded my Mac to OS 10.10.4 (Yosemite) and now, I have no scroll bar on Firefox windows. I can use the arrow down to get a scroll bar to appear, but this is terribly annoying. Even after I arrow down and the scroll bar appears, it will disappear again after non-use. Is there a setting to have the scroll bar visible at all times?

Since "upgrading" to Windows 10, Firefox cannot properly show web pages from MSDN, Technet or most other Microsoft websites. All I receive is text based websites, no visuals at all. There once was a way to have Firefox respond to websites and impersonate as internet explorer or Chrome...has that ability gone away or is it the fault of the web coders at Microsoft screwing around with their code?

When I clink on a link in an email, how can I get Firefox not to open to my home page and the link from my email? It always opens 2 pages. One is the link page and one is my homepage. It usually opens the homepage first. I close that page and the 'link' will open up. I really get tired of having to close the homepage before I can view the linked page. Thanks, cozzz

My last two versions of FF, 38 and now 40 show two of the red close tab "X's" on the tab bar. I have no idea how the second one got there and can find nothing to get rid of them. Either one will close tabs as normal. Updating to FF 40 did not fix it. Doesn't seem to affect any operation but it's annoying. See attached image.

I spotted this issue right after I installed Windows 10, and still haven't been able to figure out why. I did some research on google, but none of them were the case for firefox 39 (and 40.0 because I just updated!), and Windows 10.

What I believe is that Firefox has a built-in Open H.264 codec so I don't need additional installations or tweaks to enable h.264 support in the recent build. However, even if I can clearly see the codec installed in the plug-in list, it seems something is missing in my Firefox accroding to the support page.

I already tried clean reinstall, and even checked on the safe mode but had no luck so far. I wish I could get some help or any advice. Thanks in Advance!
