My Firebox browser had all of it's menu bars, address bars, and toolbars closed (to make room for a web screen on a Netbook). I am now left with the Tab area... and the title bar... but *nothing* else.

While in this state, I can't find any area of the interface where I can right click to "recheck" any of my bars... menu, address, or toolbars.

Is there a Windows registry setting that could get me started? Or perhaps a key click combination to enable any of those functions?

Right now I'm stuck with no ability to navigate to another site, or do anything other than open more tabs.  :-)

I am trying to work out of 2 programs using one monitor on one and Firefox on the other. When I open link to in Firefox it opens in monitor 1 which I want it to open in monitor 2. Is there a setting I can change to make this happen.

Every now and then, when I'm on Firefox it will not respond then the window will fill white and at the top it will say "Mozilla Firefox (Not Responding)".

It responds after about 10-15 seconds but this keeps happening every 2-3 Minutes and is making Firefox unusable to watch videos on Youtube and read other things as when it starts responding it take me back to the top of the page.

I cannot pinpoint which websites this is on but it normally (But not always) happens when I have more than one tab open (Usually on Youtube + SammyServers.com)

I am using Firefox 3.6.9 so is my husband. When I go to many sites, I get this error message AFTER it displays the page for about 10 seconds. My husband can go to the same site and it stays up. We have checked my setting against his, cleared the cache and history repeatedly and mine still does it. I am using win7 64 bit and Firefox3.6.9. Please help me get this issue resolved or I will have to go back to using IE which I totally dislike, but I can view the same web pages and it does not go off. Thanks, JoAnna

Ever since I updated to 3.6.9 whenever I play videos on youtube or any other website that has flash videos, videos play and freeze then goes back to normal. The video freezes and the audio continues then after a few seconds the video starts again. It doesn't happen just once during the video but throughout the whole video every few minutes.

I've got Firefox configured correctly and it always opens my last session. However, sometimes when the computer crashes and a second Firefox window is open (this time it was either a pop-up window or the Firefox update window), Firefox only recognizes that window as the "last session," and it loses the most recent multi-tab session. (Hmm, maybe what I need is "re-open recent sessionS" or "last multi-tab session" ?!)

Anyway ... is there any way I can retrieve yesterday's open tabs without picking through my history and finding them one-by-one?

First I get a message that says: non responsive script on page with the options to continue or stop script. Then I notice at the top of the window Mozilla Firefox(non responsive). Then when I click the "X" to exit I get the box from Microsoft Windows which says:" Plugin Container for Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I have the option to block popups selected under Tools-Options-content but I am still seeing very frequent pop-up windows. This didn't use to happen, I'm wondering if something has changed. I am running version 3.6.9 on Windows XP.

So I've tried installing firefox several times on my computer. For some reason IE (32-bit browser) is not longer working but the 64-bit browser is. Flash isn't compatible with the 64- bit browser so I decided to install firefox. However, every time I try I get to the part after the second installation pop-up where you click run, and it says extracting, it gets to 100% then disappears, and nothing happens. It never gets to the installation wizard. I've run spyware scans and registry scans and there does not seem to be a problem. Can anyone help?

Hi, I suddenly have an add-on called "Bytemobile Optimization Client". I did not ask for this, did not approve the installation, and what is worse, it only has the "Enable" button enabled. The "De-install" button is grayed out. This should not be allowed by Firefox. How do I get rid of this?

I have lost my vertical scroll bar on Firefox after installing Minefield. I have tried uninstalling both programs and reinstalling Firefox but the scroll bar is still missing. Firefox is running the default Theme. The scroll bar comes back when Firefox is running in Safe Mode. Can anyone help?

I want to carry Firefox on a usb memory device and run it from there so I can operate from multiple public computers without having to install it on every computer I come in contact with. Is this possible?

All of a sudden I cannot upload images to my Photobucket account. There never has been a problem with it before... I can upload using Internet Explorer so what's happened to Firefox?

I would like to know if it is possible to protect the settings in Firefox with a password. For example I do not want my daughter to enter the settings and change them.

On another computer in the house, there is a link just below the toolbar titled Current News Headlines which takes you to a list of news stories. It's not on my computer and I want to re-establish it. The help file says to go to View/Sidebar/Bookmarks and select it. But it's not there. Any ideas? Thanks.
