F.F. 3.6.4. printing email causes F.F. to crash.

I have received three emails from tech support stating the problem has been resolved.

Nowadays my firefox is crashing very often and for the last 3 days my flash player plug in is also crashing,I uninstalled and downloaded & installed the new version but still no difference.

Just upgraded to 3.64. Now I cannot create new bookmarks either by dragging a URL or trying to create a new one in organize bookmarks. For existing bookmarks when I hit properties on the pop up menu all I get is a title bar that says "bookmark properties for (name of bookmark)" but I can't resize it or otherwise manipulate the title bar to access information or change the properties

I have Firefox v.3.6.4 running on VISTA business. The browser was just hijacked while visiting the website www.pricegrabber.co.uk. My history record several redirects as follows:

The tab I was in showed a page similar to what I would see in Explorer if I were browsing my PC in XP.There was a 'security alert' and an attempt to start downloading a file. I disonnected the PC and hit escape to clear the message.

The problem was that I could not close the firefox tab. This attack took control of the close tab message, replacing it with a non-standard message which I ignored. I could close down all other tabs without problem, only the tab with the infection code could not be closed.

When I tried close firefox, the same text box appeared asking if I was sure I didnt want to disinfect my PC. The only solution was to kill firefox in the task manager.

Let me know if I can help with this. I'm a pretty advanced user and surprised at the level of this attack. It would probably get most people to download something.

Pls urgently review- I have never seen Firefox hijacked like this before.

I am using the newest version of the Lotus Notes web client in Firefox. When I attempted to send an email, a message came up warning me about the possible security risks and asking if I wanted to let Lotus Notes do the things it objected to.

Since I had declined a similar before with impunity, though not when sending an email, I denied it access and told Firefox to remember this setting.

It did not send the email and now will not send any other emails. I would like to change the setting so that it will ask me again and I can accept this time.

I can send from IE, but I hate to change browsers every time I need to send an email. I'm currently not able to send any.

If I click a link on my desktop or in any other program (while Firefox is open and running), I get this message: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." There's about a billion links for this if you Google it, but they all say that Firefox wasn't shut down properly. (OK, maybe not ALL of them, but if the needle is in that haystack, I haven't yet found it.) That's not the issue in my case since I haven't shut FF down at all.

I use Mac OS X 10.6.4 (recent update). Since this update, firefox also updated. Now, every time I open a website that uses flash player, firefox crashes and I get a message saying "firefox closed unexpectedly".

HootSuite 5 only loads the top bar (owl, compose message box, account info) and, directly below it, my user name and 'log out'. The rest of the page is a big white blank. This unfortunately only happens in my primary (personal) user account - in my secondary (business) user account, it works just fine - all my tabs and columns appear. There are differences in the Firefox configuration in the two accounts, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what could be the problem configuration setting. Any suggestions on what might be the trick setting greatly appreciated. Should I just create a new personal user account and start over again?

FWIW, the Firefox configuration may well date back to a previous computer running XP (I moved it over to a new computer running Vista last summer) and recently upgraded to Windows 7 but did not do a clean install.

When I go to king.com to play games, Firefox doesn't load the games at full resolution. I have tried reinstalling flash and java, and even firefox itself. I checked the zoom options and everything is set correctly.

After installing new ver of firefox 6.1 I think, firefox will not load facebook games. It says that the adobe flash crashed. I looked for an update to no avail. How can I either fix this or revert back to the previous ver?

When FF is displaying a PDF (AcroRd32.exe) page 1 (the URL below) displays correctly, but when the "next page" arrow in AcroRd is clicked, it hangs, though FF shows "Done" in the status bar. Killing FF with Task Manager, then restarting FF, everything works as expected.

I have seen this on more than one web site, too.

I do not have Spell Checking tab in my Edit tab. Firefox will underline a misspelled word but I can not access the spell check.

After 3.6.4 update I can no longer run FF with the imacros addon enabled. Imacros has not released an update yet. How can I revert back to 3.6.3 until they do update? Or are there any other suggestions?

When I visit certain websites, I see "read www..com" on the status bar instead of "Done". What does that mean?

I have also seen "stopped" on the status bar. Does that mean that the page has not been fully loaded? In both instances I can't see anything wrong on the page I am trying to load.

It's happened on different OS (XP, Vista), and on different machines with different add-ons, on Firefox 3.6.3, 3.6.4. Thank you.

When opening attachments in e-mail Firefox is unable to handle files with white space in the name. This is not the same as the white space file name truncation problem documented on this site (where file names with white space are truncated on saving.) The issue is that the browser will prompt to allow the file to be saved, but it will not prompt to open the file as an option. If I rename the file to remove white space then I do receive the "Open with..." dialog box. I verified that Firefox 2 did not have this problem and I can open attachments with white space in the file names just fine using that version of the browser (2.0.0.20).

hi iv been using Firefox without any major issues for years now and have been very happy with it until today when it automatically updated to a new version (as set) when opening Firefox again the bookmarks had disappear until i clicked on book marks again. i looked at my saved passwords and they have all gone?? I am a web developer. I have been using FireFox as my development browser for years, without any problems I might add. Yesterday, I noticed after making changes to a client's website, those changes were not being displayed after hitting the refresh button. The page appears as though it refreshes, however the changes are not reflected in the display nor in the source code. If I clear the browsers cache and reload the page it works, although this is obviously unacceptable for development purposes.

Spent the last hour trying to download adobe flash player upgrade withing FF. uninstalled adobe 9 as per directions. the instructions for downloading in FF says to click on the yellow bar with the "options edit" box and then open it to allow the downloading and installation of flash 10. I cannot find this "options edit" tab any where. I have NOOOO flash player on my computer and can't even download flash 9. I haven't even gotten to the installation part.
