"Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" "Allow"

How do I eliminate this from happening. I want them to open automatically

Last night I was installing a software and it tried to install SEVERAL viruses on my pc that I successfully managed to stop the installation. But I got another serious threat that I want to know whether it's still there and how can I get rid of it.

When I opened the software I was trying to install, it automatically opened a new tab on my Firefox opened window and in that same instant I knew something wrong was happening. The thing is that it loaded some pages in the same tab, using a full redirection so I couldn't go back to them and it ended in a modified Google (www.google.com/"something"). The thing is that I tried to go to the download page and Firefox started telling me THAT IT DIDN'T EXIST, then I knew something heavy was going on. I used the Reset tool (about:support) and parts of the virus got lost in the process. But the thing is that even when Firefox is set to start at https://www.google.com.uy or even when I put the blank page option for starting, it ALWAYS redirects me to the page of the virus ( http://www.istartsurf.com/?type=sc&ts=1412823435&from=sky&uid=WDCXWD5000AAKX-00ERMA0_WD-WCC2EHK4239242392 ) and if I then open another tab/window without closing the main, it justs do as I configured it (home: google, new page: blank).

Since I already reset Firefox, I want to know whether I should use another mechanism (likely deleting the entire ...\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla folder) or just reinstalling Firefox? I have already passes a full scan of my PC with AVG Internet Security 2015 (found 23 virus on the virus main folder and some Windows folders) and passed Ccleaner against every Firefox component.

If I forget about adding anything, please let me know.

When I do a search in firefox and the results turn up I get an arrow as I scroll page down and it skips a few lines. I would like to remove the arrows and control the page myself.

When I imported my bookmarks from my MS browser they were all organized in folders just like they were in MS browser. Now when to go to export Firefox bookmarks I get them listed in sorted order missing there organized folders. This is not acceptable. Need to have them exported grouped in there folders. How can I get this accomplished?

The bookmark menu is the same, but all of them are gone. Firefox created another folder on my desktop, but it's all in code, and I have no clue what is in there or how to get it back on this version.

How do I totally remove Shockwave Flash 15.0.0152. Using Ubuntu 12.04, FF 32.0.3. It seems that I have Shockwave Flash 11.2.202.406 installed also...How ???. When I disable SWF 15.xxx, it disables SWF 11.xxx also.

This was happening before I installed Chrome browser. Chrome is the only way I can use my computer without throwing thing about the room.

When I enable SWF 11.xxx, and leave SWF 15.xxx disabled, SWF turns on SWF 15.xxx. Seems these two versions are screwing up everything on my computer. Can't watch videos, FF goes gray screen and stuck, for 30 seconds, then recovers, then goes gray screen, then a message comes up "bad script -- Stop?", etc.,etc.

Lately when I am using T-bird email the screen goes gray and stops working.

My internet subscription offer me a 1.5 GB per month This quota was enough for daily browsing of my facebook account as well as some sites of news.

I was using FF29 on WinXp. After upgrading from FF29 to FF32 , this quota become insufficient. Besides, the much delay in the facebook browsing.

I downloaded GoogleChrome and found it saves my quota again.

It looks that FF32.0 downloads more bytes per page during facebook browsing.

Firefox performed an update at 3:00 pm this afternoon. I was working in an Excel file and Firefox crashed, the window got stuck when it said it was sending a crash report so I had to close that window. I could not relaunch Firefox, it kept telling me Firefox was already running, when I clicked "close Firefox" I got an error message that I can't remember, something was missing or not available.

I tried rebooting etc. then figured I would use IE to download a new version, that's when I found IE won't work either. It loads but can't connect. My internet is working, I'm on a backup laptop now with no problems. So I downloaded Chrome setup to this laptop, copied it to the laptop with no working browsers and tried to install, it started but when it tried to log onto the Chrome welcome page it just churns away and can't connect.

Not sure what may have happened but since it's all browsers I'm thinking something in the internet setup area needs adjusting. Any ideas? I work from home on the Internet 40 hours a week so need that laptop working. The one I'm using now will due for a while but I gotta get the other back up and running asap. Thanks for any help from anyone! O

Hi! In FF on mac the maximise button used to do just that, now it takes FF into full screen mode. Besides dragging the window manually, is there still a way to maximise the screen without is going into full screen mode?

I wished to reply to a forum post with new information that will be of relevance to anyone searching for a solution to a particular problem. I did not have a support account with Mozilla. I found that the site would not allow a reply from an unregistered person. Fair enough, but it gives you no way to create an account then reply to the post. The only way you can create an account is by creating a new thread - which is what I am doing now! Crazy or what? It then took about 10 minutes thrashing about on the site to find out how to create an account. Frustrating or what? Thank goodness Firefox itself is built to much higher standards.

I can print from my documents or desktop but when I open firefox and try to print it opens a print window with a fax as my printer. I can hit the down arrow and see my printer but it will not allow me to select it. My default is the correct printer

This all started 5 hours ago, when I tried to download a .doc file from my school website but Microsoft Word opened it with "file conversion" options and the preview is filled with unreadable codes. I was using Nightly 64-bit on a newly installed Windows 8.1 64 bit system (about a week ago after I upgrade my ssd).

1. I tried open other .exl file from the same website, but Microsoft Excel could not open it at all saying the file is corrupted. I used IE 11 to download the same files and it worked perfectly. Problem with Nightly it looked like.

2. I reset Nightly then tried to download the same file again, not working. Tried safemode disable all addons and try to download the .doc file. It surprisly worked!. So it seems like an addon problem. Then I disabled all addons manually restarted again but tested not working. I was really frustrated at this point so I believe my Nightly was hacked by malware or some hidden plugins.

3. Uninstalled Nightly then I cleaned all files left with Ccleaner. I checked full scan with Windows security essential; downloaded malware cleaner "Malwarebytes". Yes a few malware like files were detected and cleaned up.

4. Downloaded waterfox 64-bit but now more problems appeared. It still cannot download the .doc or exl file now. The right click menu is not showing up at any webpage, image or highlighted texts. Ctrl+click link to open link in new tab is not working, just nothing happens. I try to reset or safemode restart, Nope! the help menu is gone, perfectly clear!

In brief, I would not like to reinstall my OS for this issue. I wish I could find some software remover that detects firefox virus pluggins. I don't want to try the 32-bit version of firefox for this issue.

All these while i have been using Hotmail and it's fine.Until recently,after i log in Hotmail it will say

"We can't connect to Outlook.com right now. Please try again later." 

then after i refresh it said

"This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to bay174.mail.live.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified. What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue. " i had seen Hotmail asking others to contact Mozilla to solve this problem instead.

Whenever I start Firefox, I see wmiprvse.exe load as a running process. I see this happen by using Sysinternal's Process Explorer. This has been happening since I updated to the current version of Firefox (32.0.1). It also happens whenever I start up the current version of Thunderbird (31.1.1). I have two questions:

1. Is this normal behavior? 2. If so, why is it necessary?

And just to clarify things, I have researched this for HOURS using "my friend" Google. I have also tried to get answers to these questions in various newsgroups to no avail. My copy of wmiprvse.exe is NOT infected (I ran it through Virustotal) and is only located where it is supposed to be on my hard drive.

Please help me by sticking to answers to the two questions I have, and bear in mind that I'm only talking about XP SP3.

www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.

Ich habe neuerdings das Problem das mir Firefox (aktuelle Version) sehr oft abstürzt wenn ich in der Adresszeile oder eben daneben in der Suchmaschinen Zeile was eingebe. Meistens komme ich bis zum 4 Buchstaben danach tut sich nichts mehr. Ich habe das Gefühl das es an den Vorschlägen liegen könnte. Ich muss Firefox neu starten um es wieder benützen zu können.

Kennt jemand das Problem?

I open Mozilla Firefox and my RTE homepage opens which is fine. If I open a new (second) tab the Incredimail website appears. A blank tab used to appear in this second window. I want a blank tab to appear instead.
