Using FF 25.0.1 Ubuntu Linux and Firefox is allowing pop-up ads from Mediafire.com despite the fact that I have not allowed any pop-ups in the preferences. Some of the sites showing up are: russiandatingbeauties.com, www.packagefromsanta.com, stats.g.doubleclick.net, www.kongregate.com, mmotraffic.com, trackstarsengland.net and www.easybeezy.com and it's REALLY annoying!

I would like to export all my bookmarks as an easily readable list, ideally subdivided under the headings of each folder where they are currently in (within my firefox browser). I currently have them organized under various folders (subjects) and I would like to be able to have all the specific links in each folder accessible to me as a word doc or similar. Particularly for research and teaching purposes, I need to be able to offer access these links away from my browser, on a list that I can print and hand out. I have tried exporting as html then opening in word but it all becomes unreadable to a non tech savvy like me. Many thanks for your help

Version 25.0.1 When I close the browser, all my previous tabs are gone when I reopen it and it goes to the firefox homepage. I have my options set for reopening previous tabs, and I've reset this at least 10 times and it will not stay. When I reopen the browser, I get the firefox home page, and the option has been reset to their default. This is NOT a feature, this is a bug. One of my favorite features of firefox has been that I can have 3 or 4 tabs open, and each time I restart, I get those exact same tabs without having to click or hunt.

I am not the only one with this problem, I've checked with a few people I know who updated their system to 25.0.1 and they are getting the same thing.

Ideas? Please????

In previous versions of Firefox, I used to move all the navigation bar items to the menu bar.

But now that the tabs can be at the very top of the window, which saves some useless space (great work there guys), I have to hide the menu bar to use it (and use the Firefox button).

Since I cannot find all options that I used to find in the menus in the Firefox button (it has less details and I have an additional module - ScrapBook - adding a menu to the traditional menus), I tried to move the menus to the navigation bar so I can use both at the same time. It seems that I cannot move the menus anywhere else than in the menu bar... Why? I don't see any reason for the menus not to be moveable as other items.

It would give a possibility to use both old (and extensive) menus and the new button at the same time.

While updating /downloading Java I suspect I declined all offers for software and eventually stopped the download Do Search now is the first page that loads when I click on Mozilla When I press 'home' (top right/address bar) I go to the Mozilla Firefox Start Page Options/General/Mozilla Start Page is in the little tab window Control Panel/Internet Options/https://www.mozilla.org/ is in Home Page window however if I click on 'Use default' switch "do Search' pops back in. I deleted/blocked the extension in the Mozilla Add-on section I ran a virus scan and cleaned my computer, restarted however I cannot fix the problem

  I am using Windows XP on a HP dx2000 MT.  When I open  the Mozilla browser, the start page for qOne8.com comes up. When I select File/new window, I can get to the  Foxpro  Google search page and my homepage. I have tried resetting Foxpro with no success. I have tried setting program access in the Windows Add/Remove Programs window with no success. I haven't found any window where qOne8  even appears; so I'm assuming it is a hidden program or I'm not looking in the right place. Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks.  Kirk

I am using Yahoo webmail. It used to work, I'm not sure when it stopped, but in the last week or two. Maybe there was an update? I have emptied downloads, Reset and then Uninstall/re-installed Firefox, and it's the same. I can download documents fine using Safari, so it's not the webmail

I've used the Leechblock add-on that i've installed a few weeks before in order to not get distracted by watching Youtube too much. One day, I've clicked Hide Add-on, but then I realized I needed to watch Youtube clips in a few days for my class assignment. Where can I find the Leechblock add-on that has been blocked or how can I undo this action

A couple of days ago the bookmarks toolbar disappeared. It may have coincided with me installing the Amazon wishlist add-on; I'm not sure. The article I read in the help forum said to right-click where the open space is, and a pop-up window would appear. When I right-click, nothing happens. I've also tried opening the Bookmarks menu, deselecting "View Bookmarks Toolbar" and reselecting, and nothing happens. Neither does restarting the browser.

Any other ideas for getting the toolbar to reappear where it's supposed to be?

Whenever I open Firefox a new tab page automatically opens from "add0n.com/extractor-updated.html?v=0.3.2" without an http:// prefix . On clicking this "address" it states "This website does not supply ownership information." The page relates to Media Downloader -a firefox extension ??? This is not listed in my firefox extensions or plug ins . I have never asked for it and dont want it , but cant stop page always auto loading . Please help to remove . thanks

When I open another tab in Firefox, I get this website "http://wisersearch.com/?channel=en_nt". and not my normal homepage (www.google.com/news). How can I fix?

After I downloaded the programs winrar, bittorrent, and some playstation 2 emulator my browser keeps changing the default search engine to yahoo. I change it back every time but when I close the browser completely it just changes it back. I have reset firefox as a last resort but it STILL changes it back to yahoo! So I went to delete the cookies and there still was no change.

how do I turn off this notification. I build web stores and this pops up when I access my store now. The stores have a redirect with masking through godaddy.com to hide the source of the store. I have reset fire fox, turned off most of the settings and still having issues. most of the forms on line are outdated. Thanks

Without any warning or reason, Google just started providing instant results in my searches. I am logged in to my Google account and clearly have the function disabled. It doesn't matter if I use my home page (http://www.ighome.com/?t=165654) or start fresh with Google.com, the same thing keeps happening. I detest this autocomplete function. Is there any way to get rid of it?

When I´m trying to download a file from a homepage (i.e. Adobe) the download is being displayed with the green download arrow, will even be completed and is being shown in the download list, but it won´t open with a double click.

crashers and blackouts on every site but youtube most of all.

Make it simpler and I don't want all those browser extentions so can I please have a link to a clean copy so's all that stuff doesn't get installed?

I use a parts look up program called Microcat , the service is used with either a local database or a server database. I use the local database option , when the application starts it uses my default browser which is firefox. That part of the application works fine, but when I go to print within the application all I get is either blank tab, or a pop up with a print button that doesn't print. All these features work fine in IE 10 or 11 I have read through and followed several troubleshooting tips from the Mozilla website. I can send screen shots if required . Another thing if I try to print within the browser , all I get is a blank page.
