My Firefox is set to show my home pages when it starts, but it opens my windows and tabs from last time, except its not really last time, but some time in the past. After trying to open those pages, I get a full screen Skype window that I can't get out of full screen. So, I go to my task bar. Launch another session of Firefox, back to the task bar to close the Skype window, and then click on the Home page button to launch my pages. This has been going on for a couple weeks now.

I have already gone into Firefox preferences, turned my popup blocker on, and removed all exceptions. However, I'm still getting a TON of popups, mostly for software updates and downloads. There is no malware on my computer and the popups do have the Firefox bookmark bar, so I know they are coming from Firefox.

Please help! It's really frustrating and slowing my computer down because they're constantly getting in the way when I'm trying to navigate.

Ever since I installed Firefox 23.0.1, I have had many problems. Firefox is very slow to open and crashes several times a day, especially if I'm on Facebook. The internet, especially Facebook & Facebook games are very slow. When Facebook updates, it is so slow that it hangs up my entire system.

My router and cable modem are working correctly. I recently installed new ethernet cables between the cable modem, router and computer. Brighthouse was here last week and I have a strong internet signal. All of my plug ins are up to date and so is Windows XP. I have cleaned my browser's cache several times. Closing and restarting Firefox helps for a little while.

I often want to print exactly what's shown on the current page. But some websites apparently intercept the print command and rearrange or completely reformat the content according to what they "know better" you need. Google Maps does this. Is there a way to avoid this and print exactly how it's currently laid out?

I don't know how it got on my pc and I can't find it any where in any installed programs or software. I tried sending them email to explain how I can remove it but no reply from contact@websearchInc.com as they suggest is their support address.

So does anyone know how i might have got it, is it safe and how to remove it ? Thank you, Nick890

I've installed the Downthemall add-on, but it is not accessible. By that I mean that although Downthemall appears in the list of installed and active Extensions, there is no other evidence of its existence--for example, no button or right-click menu item. (I'm a long-time Downthemall user (on another machine) so I do have some experience with the program.) Also, when I click on the Downthemall preferences in the Extensions list, nothing happens.

I'm on a Macbook Pro 15" Retina display running Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and Firefox 23.0.1.

Thanks for any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

How do I tell Firefox that, or where, PHP exists, and to execute script? I installed PHP 5.3 as per msVista (basic) instructions on php.org to C:\Program Files\PHP\ and it works if I open cmd on the command line : C:\Program Files\PHP>php -a Interactive mode enabled ^Z and scripts in tags work properly.

However opening a page or file such as test.php containing valid script with Firefox 23.0.1 fails to interpret the script and just displays the uninterpreted source code as if it were text. I found that because C:\Program Files\PHP\ contains a space in the pathname the path needs to be enclosed within quotes "C:\Program Files\PHP\" [smacks forhead: shoulda installed to C:\PHP\ ] to be recognized. Is that the problem, and where do I make the change?
