I installed Mozilla Firefox on my phone, but I cannot log in or create a new account. When I try to sign up or log in, it does not work properly. Please help me fix this issue.

Example email attached. Mozilla support emails say requests are coming from a windows 10 device but I am on 11. Is this a sign that something is wrong with my account or just a typo?

I was going through my account settings today and noticed that two factor was disabled. I thought this odd as I usually set it up on any account I use, so I of course turned it on and went about linking my authenticator app and generating account recovery codes. Yet in my authenticator app there was already a Mozilla account with my email, but the codes it supplied did not work. I also found old account recovery codes I had written down which did not work either.

What could have happened to cause this? I must have had two factor on sometime in the past and added it to my app and generated recovery codes. How could it have been disabled, the old codes made invalid, and Microsoft authenticator unlinked? Am I looking at an account breach somehow? I have no unusual activity as far as I can tell and no recent data or password breaches. The only thing I can think of was I removed a number of old devices from my account and signed out of them, but I still own the old PC's so no one could be using them.

My user experience on Firefox is being severely impacted and is making me angry. I watch the updates calendar they are once a month. So why can i not go a whole week it seems with a necessary Firefox update to my browser that impacts the performance of websites. I like to have multiple tabs open over a week or more. I don't want to close and reopen my tabs every time I want to use my computer. SO WHY are there SO many updates. It's seriously making me want to uninstall your browser and I have been using Firefox on multiple devices for years. More than 20 years now. It's seriously ridiculous to have a major update every week or even every other week where I have to shut down and save my work on ALL of my tabs just to update Firefox. I have never remember history and I am going to uninstall and reinstall from even greater security because I have serious concerns about the amount of data that big tech companies share with 3rd Parties and the government. I am an honest American citizen and I HATE being surveilled and having my private life sold to the highest bidder. But even though. the safety of your browser is a positive feature it becomes very difficult to WANT to use Firefox when my workflow is CONSTANTLY interrupted.

Seriously, You JUST updated on the 23rd/24th and now just two weeks later there's already ANOTHER update. And who even knows when that one dropped. I only checked it because sites were acting up. And EVERY TIME a site acts up it's because of an update. You have interfered with my user experience with Youtube, and Multiple Streaming Services, and Multiple Chat bots. It's thoroughly dis-satisfactory and disruptive, and ANNOYING. I want a tool that protects me while I am on the web. I do NOT want a tool that ruins my internet experience every week.

Well, I don't know how I did it, but:

I'm trying to sync my Firefox between 2 PCs. I had trouble with it, and now the situation is: a) my source PC asks me to create a new profile as it spits the dummy on my existing one; it does not offer me the option of creating a new account b) my destination PC does the same. In both cases, when I choose the "Sync and save data" menu option, then enter my email, I get the message: "This profile was previously synced to a different account. To keep your data...To sign in using <email address>, create a new profile." Creating a new profile does not have all the configuration and info that I have in my current profile.

It would be nice if I could reset everything back to square one with the sync process. Does anyone have a good suggestion?

I am running Firefox 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10. FF tells me that there is an update. I downloaded the update, and when I restart FF, it does not update. Version 149.0 is re-started, and Help --> About Firefox again tells me to restart to upgrade. I have tried the upgrade at least three times.

replaced a windows 10 laptop with a Linux Mint 22.3 laptop. Used Sync to transfer profile to the new laptop. Logged into the banking account (BECU.org) successfully. When trying to transfer money from checking to savings, the transaction failed with a statement that the date was invalid. The date was valid. A separate Linux Mint computer that never had a windows profile synced does not show this problem. Disabling all extensions did not fix this problem.

Could you make a shortcut to switch on between "dark mode" and "bright mode" in the mobile app browser + pc desktop browser?

There are enough webpages that don't show correctly in dark mode. It is not convenient to change the dark mode each time in settings!

In windows and android, if there is no feature means kindly add that features.

I will like for the Modzilla Support team create an inexpensive way to include innovative ways for people who use this browser to earn funds for using this exceptional browser that has helped so many of us to find whatever we were searching for to be useful for our needs.

Microsoft and Google are part of Anthropic's Project Glasswing but Mozilla is not. I am concerned about Firefox security if Mozilla in not being included. What is your plan to participate? Do I need to switch browsers in the meantime? Please advise. Thanks.

Last week I discovered that my emails (yahoo) when clicked on opened a Preview screen next to the email lists. How can the previews be removed and my emails appear across my screen instead of being crammed into a left hand column?
