I want to change my download directory on the mobile app, I've tried the solution of this post, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore, I can't find any other solution

I have 'synced' my old phone. Now I have new phone with a Firefox that I used for setup, which has a few open tabs and maybe a couple b9kmarks. I want to 'restore' everything fromthe old Firefox to the new. What happens if I 'sync'?

My guess is 'sync'ing the new firefox merely backs up its current state...

As practically every other Firefox user, my bookmarks evolved into a lengthy file system that uses folders to segregate categories of bookmarks.

That is, it used to have this feature.

After the last update all or most of the bookmarks (I can't tell by scrolling down the long list) are devoid of their organizing folders. This puts a great deal of information beyond easy reach. In Mozilla Help topics one is advised to click on the library icon in the toolbar ... only there is no such icon on my copy of Developer's Edition.

Can someone suggest a method or methods to recover the folders?

Some passwords have been lost as well.

The browser always refreshes the website page by itself, opening the page and switching the browser to the backend or foreground but resting the screen for a while will force the page to refresh, and data that has been entered but not submitted is lost.

At first I thought it was a wrong setting or a problem with the extension. After I reinstalled it, it still occurs, and it happens with all versions (nightly version, iceraven and waterfox as well).

Looking into the information I thought it was the WebSocket live link that would automatically disconnect to save power, and network fluctuations as well. Disconnecting switches to the connection prompt screen, which looks like a refresh. Maybe my guess is wrong.

I currently mitigated this by modifying the "media.aboutwebrtc.auto_refresh.peerconnection_section" function to false to alleviate this, but it still forces the page to refresh.

My device is:Xiaomi 13U, hyperOS2 by android 15

I have been looking all over Firefox for the setting to change the icon (was included in the latest update notes) but it’s nowhere to be found for me. Am I missing something?

In the latest update for Firefox for iOS, the release notes mention you can “Personalize your Firefox Icon with a sleek new app icon picker.” I cannot find this anywhere in the app settings. Can anyone tell me where this is?

Hi everyone, I've been experiencing a persistent issue where my Firefox (Windows 10) randomly crashes or closes. I recently noticed that this always happens when a JSON file appears in the following directory: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution The strange thing is that this file shouldn't even be there, as this is my personal computer and it is not managed by any organization. I have already tried deleting or renaming the file, but after a seemingly random period, it gets recreated automatically. Here’s what I have tried so far, without success: - Deleting/renaming the file - Checking the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox (but the "Mozilla" folder does not exist there) - I have never used any third-party antivirus software (only Windows Defender) Does anyone have an idea where this file might be coming from or how I can prevent it from being recreated? I’m not very tech-savvy, so I would greatly appreciate simple explanations or step-by-step instructions. Thanks in advance for any help!

The release notes for Firefox for iOS 137.0 mention a new icon picker. Where can that be found? Same question for the new “Appearance Menu”. I don’t see either of these anywhere and the release notes give no details. Definitely have 137.0 installed.

Even in the notification setting found under privacy and security there are no sites listed, however, I am continuing to get banner notifications even after uninstalling the browser.

I have a Huawei P30 Pro and beta Firefox browser. When I try to view my passwords on Firefox, it brings up a lock screen password prompt. This page requires my password, but the password is not recognized, even though it is correct. The lock screen password works in other situations but not in Firefox

I have just opened MS Teams on my Firefox 137.0 on my WIndows 11 and I get a blank screen. NOthing happens. I see that by looking in Edge the format of MS Teams layout has completely changed. I imagine that there's a setting to change to enable teams to work but how can I find it?

I have a laptop that died last week. I just got onto a new device, and would like to restore my Firefox settings from that previous device. So, I downloaded firefox, signed in to sync my bookmarks and extensions... and the old device does not appear in my synced devices list. Is there anything I can do to recover my account data? I know it was synced as recently as a few days ago. The device is completely bricked and I will not be able to log in on it anymore. Is there anything to be done?
