Recently, I am unable to open PDF's on Firefox. When I go to another browser and access the same site (such as a bank) I am able to view the PDF. I have tried some of the suggestions regarding extensions etc, but nothing seems to work. Is there a solution? Thanks, SVS

hi everyone, first of all, happy new year.

while browsing reddit, i keep seeing these strange underlined empty links on random words/names. for example this comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/moviecritic/comments/1hpse0f/comment/m4jxdwq/ shows the name of actress underlined.

i disabled all my extensions and the problem persisted. i checked using chrome and the problem didn't exist.

on inspect element i found something called faceplate-tracker though.

any clue what is this? and how to deal with it?

Reloading existing tabs or entering full URLs works. Toggling "Work Offline" on and off does not fix the problem and the only workaround is restarting Firefox.

This is triggered by laptop doing sleep/wake transitions so I strongly suspect this is related to Firefox online/offline detection.

I recently, was my own fault not protecting my visa card but got scammed, I chopped the card but yet somehow someone accessed my amazon account and tried purchasing something just the other day. I only use this laptop for amazon. My concern is how to stop people from getting access to this browser through shared wifi and the person got into this laptop through the smart tv in the part of shared accomodation. I matched the serial number of the device to the device that appeared in devices in my control panel which I never authorized to access my laptop. I dont allow any access to my "network" to anyone but somehow someone got access. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And everytime I tether with my cell phone its alwys a new network that I get asked by microsoft if I want to allow discoverable which I dont, but I usually have 80 -100 networks due to every log in with teher and wifi booster. As title, MS defender keeps detecting trojans everytime firefox is launched and while I'm pretty sure it's probably just a false positive its just getting rather frustrating and now more so, worrying that it's constantly happening.

i have Linux Cinnamon 22 and want to stop the PIP on YT. I disabled/unchecked box for PIP on FFox and PIP still happen on YT. What can i do to stop this horrible PIP now ? thank you.

Youtube brought up in the broswer works fine with audio/video but on other websites I can view the video and can't hear the audio.

My sister hit some sort of weird shortcut and now most websites are broken and have weirdly inverted colors, mostly google sites. Gmail is weird, Google Docs are weird, and a LOT more but too lazy to keep track/pull em up. Absolutely no clue what to do, and I dont really wanna factory reset my browser, so if someone by any miracle could tell me what shortcut she hit, thatd be helpful.

Hi, my account seems to have some kind of admin or enterprise control on it, but I'm not part of an organization. It says:

Information Your browser is being managed by your organization.

I don't know how to fix this, but it is keeping me from updating and doing other things like clearing cache and adjusting my settings.

How can I fix this?

Shouldn't SAVED Payment Methods have a "Nickname" so we can know which one to use? I have a few cards I manage and use to buy for myself, my wife, and my daughter. There are too many for me to remember which of the accounts is for whom.

A simple nickname would add great ease of use!

Firefox is default browser. Have used McAfee Truekey for years with no issues. It has now disappeared from browser. Reloaded the app, and McAfee website tells me to activate it. How do I do this/ should I do this?

Hi. I use firefox version 133.03 (64 bit) and have issues when on x.com's website. It will randomly open new tabs constantly. I have tried multiple options with settings on firefox and my pc, blocked new windows from opening, and disabled pop-ups. Checked my extensions and tried disabling all and that did not affect anything. I have run scans for viruses, malware, etc., and nothing comes up.

Any advice? It gets pretty annoying having to close the repeating tabs to be able to view the site.

As title. Installed the latest update as soon as i came out. I get the "Welcome to Firefox" tab and the 2nd tab "Firefox Privacy Notice" opened.

The 1st "Welcome" tab, has the box and buttons asking me to import old setting and all that jazz. I have down in quiet a few times and nothing is taken root. I have went through the process of installing all my old addons and extensions, I am not sure how many times, as I use them every time I open my browser to watch Twitch or Youtube, Beyond 20, and what have you. And of course it keeps resetting my toolbar and the bookmarks and settings on my homepage.

I thought at first, it might be buggy and after a day or two it would get fixed an updated. But alas, nothing thus far and this is forcing me to use other craptastic browsers I rather not even have installed on my system.

I have refreshed Firefox a time or two, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I am afraid to completely wipe it out, as I do not want to lose my bookmarks, passwords, and other saved information, that I probably should not have saved but I do because my memory is "teh suck".

I would appreciate any insight on how tor resolve this issue.

When i try to log in to Gyazo it goes to a web page that says

"Checking your browser before accessing gyazo.com ... Click here if you are not automatically redirected after 5 seconds."

I can log in via chrome and i can log in via firefox on my ipad. I looked at my malwarebytes and its not blocked there. So i know my acc is good. I know it will log in with firefox on my ipad. just not my Win11 Desktop Firefox.

I've been using Firefox for 15 years and since syncing has been available, all my tabs and favorites have been saved. Yesterday I saved new windows 10 and when I log in to mozzila, there's nothing?

Ever since I got 133.03 my Dell cpu freezes a lot. Over the last hour it froze 15 times. This is terrible reliability.

I hired Dell Tech Support and they checked my software and there were no issues. I have run advance Norton features and there are no problems. Therefore the issue is NOT with my 20 month Dell computer.

Firefox has always been reliable until late August. For four weeks it would freeze and lock up. by the end of Sept it was slightly better and then fine in November. Now it only freezes, put the mouse over the image and it freezes. Play with it for a while and it unlocks.

I am totally fed up with Firefox. I'll be starting my taxes soon and year end things and can't afford to have all these issues and rebooting to help eliminate the issue.

When is Firefox tech support going to help me? When is Firefox going to fix the issue? After Christmas I am looking into the Microsoft software......enough is enought!

I have Ring Cameras that I can access from my computer. When I click on the microphone and try to talk, I get a message that says I must "turn on browser settings for sound". Where do I find that?
