I just downloaded the new Firefox and replaced the old application. All my bookmarks are gone. When I go to Manage and Restore, it tells me to choose a file but I don't seem to have the file on my computer. Under library>application support there is no Firefox folder. There is a Mozilla folder, but the only thing in it is the "extensions" folder with one file. I have a backup of my full computer on a hard drive from before the download, but I can't seem to find a file there either. I don't think I ever specifically asked my computer to save the Bookmarks. Does it auto save in the application? Is there a way to restore the prior version of Firefox on my computer?

Hi, Description: Sometimes when I move my cursour over certain elements on a website, black or white Blocks appear. These Blocks are always rectangular but usually not sqare. Oftentimes the block will have Diagonal lines running up to the top left corner of the Box. The apperance seems to be connected to mouse movement. They pop up and dissapear only when the mouse is moved. And stay when they have appeard and the mouse isn't moved. Esspecially highliting things makes them occur. Example images are provided. Occurance: They are not limited to one website, though they don't seem to appear everywhere. Their occurace seems to be consistent. They are not limited to websites however. White boxes can also appear over highlighted text in the URL, regardless of the website. Example image is attatched The Boxes occur in no other Browser and in no other Programm. They have been there for a while, so it's not the version. Tried Fixes: I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. The boxes also appear in Private windows. I used the suggested feature for removing all settings and addons. Interestingly if I run firefox in Troubleshooting mode none of the Boxes appear.

Like I said, I only have these issues in the Firefox browser, so if it is a problem with my system itself I'd love to get your Ideas to what might cause them.

Firefox cannot play IMDB video. It shows: This video file cannot be played error code 224002 Youtube and other video contents are working fine but IMDB. Chrome and other browsers are playing IMDB video without any issue. Why Firefox does not? Is there anyone who knows how could I solve this problem?

When I watch fullscreen videos in another browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) on my Mac the video fills the entire screen. For some reason when doing the same in firefox the video does not reach to fill the entire screen and instead only occupies the middle. I tried screenshotting to illustrate this behavior but the screenshot was restricted to this middle zone as well. It seems like somehow firefox is shrinking the display size when no other browser exhibits the same behavior.

It also seems like if I want I can drag the video window around in fullscreen moving the whole video player around my display. I shouldn't have to drag the thing around to get the video to play right.

If I have many tabs open, and pull one away, instead of the previous tab saying in focus, it clicks to a different tab.

If I have 5 tabs open:

1. Tab1
2. Tab 2
3. Tab 3
4. Tab 4
5. Tab 5

I'm focused on Tab 3. If I pull Tab 5 away, it snaps me into Tab 4 even though I was previously on a different tab.

I think this isn't a bug but not desired?

When a playlist is loaded and played on YouTube, the next video in the playlist should automatically start playing once the current video reaches its end. This feature is commonly known as autoplay. However, I couldn't get it to work consistently. When the current video is finished, next video is loaded normally but where it should automatically play it doesn't.

I have tried below to address this issue:

• Autoplay next video works in safe mode.
• "allow audio and video" in autoplay permissions in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay doesn't help
• I have also set media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground preference to false in about:config but didn't help
• I have tried uninstalling all extensions and it didn't help
• Tried logging out of youtube, but this didn't seem to help with the issue.
• Tried "Clear startup cache" in "more troubleshooting information" menu, didn't help
• Tried "Refresh Firefox" which didn't help

Can't get past "This browser is no longer supported" message when trying to access "twitter.com". Have turned off all known ad blockers. Reload produces same result.

I can no longer view YouTube videos in Firefox browser because they think I have some kind of add blocker installed. I have never installed such a thing and have no idea how to fix what they are demanding I must fix in order to continue with YouTube in the FireFox browser. In the mean time I have to use some other unfamiliar browser just for YouTube. It appears that some kind of incompatibility has evolved in the recent two or three weeks between Firefox and YouTube.

I cannot hear anything from websites, YouTube for example when using FireFox. I have checked the Volume Mixer and there is sound except for FF tab

I can hear perfectly in other browsers so this problem only exists when using Firefox. I have tried all the suggested remedies with no success.

Any suggestions welcome

Hi, Hope you all are doing well. I recently checked my website [removed] on different browsers. Website is working fine with most of the browser, but when i checked it on Firefox i got an error in DevTools "Image corrupt or truncated". What does it mean? This is a category image and present on sidebar of website. But all other images are same, i mean with same size and format. Why exactly this image is creating an issue?

I updated from version 106 to the latest version just now and my user-defined fonts stopped displaying on a local HTML page (stored locally on my computer); this warning showing up in the console: "Request for font FONT_NAME_HERE blocked at visibility level 2 (requires 3)."

I specify fonts using "font-family" property (CSS).

Help me out here, please. How can I fix this (so my pages look proper again)?

I routinely leave my most used socials in pinned tabs, meaning I have 2 plurk tabs & 2 reddit tabs open all the time. When the browser restarts, 1 of the 2 tabs will reload in a new tab and ask if I'm sure I want to open in the container that the pinned tab that loads properly loaded in. (I hope you can parse that, that's the simplest way I could find to word it.) Since firefox won't let you ctrl+W on a pinned tab, I then have to unpin and close the tab that didn't load right, & pin the new tab.

I use the latest version of firefox in linux mint 21.1. I'm on the latest kernal, but this has always happened (since I switched from chrome back in June).

(I also wish you could simply close a pinned tab, I used that a lot on chrome too.)

The email was a "no reply" referring to a "Request ID: NBRBLM37JG -request for an access code" with a link to a "privacy portal" (which wouldn't open).

I don't know why I got this and what (if anything) do I need to do. Do I need an access code? Should I block the one trust.com sender?

I've read many suggestions here and tried them but nothing seems to fix the error of can't load details on the google drive page in firefox. Other browsers works find. I've disabled all the extensions I use, themes and all that and still won't load details.

Recently I have noticed that my bookmarks which are in folders display only the icon not the text. The main toolbar shows both icons and text. This only applies on my desktop browser. iPad is fine.

What should I do to correct this?

I've recently picked up a new Pixel phone with Android 14 to replace my aging Samsung, and I'm having issues with the account login on Firefox. On my old device, attempting to use a Google service would offer the option to login using one of my device accounts. On my new device however, it just asks for a password. I'm not really sure what could have changed here other than maybe something related to Android versions but there's no setting I can find to fix this. I know it's a small issue but it is a nuisance and I would much prefer using the Android account service rather than having to manually log in with a password every time my session expires. Is there any way to fix this?

My name is Rebecca Soto, I am being harassed by Google and/or government. IThey interfere with my interactions on the internet on Iany network or any devise while I use your private browsing. I have used your services like Firefox for years because I believe in your privacy policy. My advances to change my bank password online are useless, as soon as I fill out the information the web page I click submit and they redirect me to the previous page where it is blank again while I'm on incognito on Firefox. One simple password reset that takes 1 minute becomes a whole afternoon of loss and frustration. All because I wanted to report a concern about the drinking water in my area might have been contaminated. I believe in freedom of speech and the right to use the web privately. These people interfere with the settings on incognito mode and save my history. Use my private information on Facebook messenger , all on your private browsing Firefox app, inappropriately to influence my husband to leave me which they have accomplished. I am extremely insulted to be an American citizen today. We are suppose to respect the constitutional rights of all United States citizens and I can not understand why they chose to harass me? Honestly I believe this is a hate crime because I am Hispanic and Apache Natiive American Indian. I mean I hate to remind you that your company also runs the risk of a lawsuit that can impact this company for someone else's ignorance? This is why I am contacting you to please give my situation some attention and to take this serious. I have tons of screenshots and cell phone that have been disabled different devices connected to my Gmail. Just tons of hard evidenceas where my previous employer was sending me to a remote locations in Caldwell where I was monitored by recording video cameras in side the home.
