The amount of space for Cached Web Content is still restricted to 1GB.

Since the time they have introduced to clear cache size this size is still the same. I reported this to firefox that in these modern age and introduction of heavy sites and faster pc there is a need to increase this cache size of firefox to atleast 10gb.

Within a day this cache size of 1gb gets filled fast and then every day i have to clear cache all the time.

Why cant firefox make necessary changes which is so back

None of my pw managers are working on Firefox now. They use to. The extensions are in place. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the managers. I have reviewed the settings in Firefox and notice nothing that would stop any of the managers to work. They allow for the email to be populated but the actual passwords will not. And as I said this is the same for any of the password managers I have, i.e., not just one. Should I uninstall Firefox?

I am told to disable pop-up blockers in order to have a payment verified. I do not know what pop-up blockers are, I do not know where they are. When I go to Settings and search for pop-up blockers, I am told "Sorry! There are no results in Settings for "pop-up blockers"; and instructed to visit Firefox Support. I have been sent on this circular quest three times now. Please help me.

When I try to log-in to other sites using google I am getting pop up and all. But after completing the required steps it shows 'Something went wrong'. I tried same with Edge & Chrome but it all works fine.

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. My laptop updated system just now without closing the browser. After restarting, there is no restore option for firefox. No recently closed taps and windows. But the history is correct stored. I had opened 3 windows with many tabs. I/m wondering if there is any method to restore the windows instead of click the history one by one. There are hundreds of tabs....

Every day I have to work and use my pinned tabs. But now, they disappear every time Firefox restarts, notwithstanding that your settings indicated Firefox will reopen all tabs on the next session. Why? Where I live there are blackouts every day, especially during the night. So I have to close all my programs, turn off my computer, and restart it early in the morning in order to work. Please turn back to reopen pinned tabs every time Firefox reopens!

I've downloaded and installed and updated Firefox on a new windows 11 PC - and I have a perfectly working installation on my (old) windows 10 Machine, so I'm well used to the browser! I've downloaded, installed and enabled three core, up-to-date addons: IDM, Adaware and Internet downlad helper: however NONE of them show on the toolbar and none of them function. And I've tried (I hope) all internet-search-suggested remedies such as reset Firefox etc. ad nauseam. All without success....

I have used a custom html file as my homepage for years and while I can get Firefox to accept it as my homepage, I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it so when I open a new tab it goes straight to said custom page. I've tried multiple different add-ons for Firefox and none have worked, and I've checked multiple different support questions here and am still unable to figure this out.

Hi, Whenever I search something on google and then click into a website, something weird happens: In my search history, not only is there the actual website I visit, but also an additional google url (very long with no website name) I have no extension installed Has anyone encountered the same issue? I tried to log onto Youtube so I could make a few comments on a football game. They had to send me a code to my email (HOTMAIL) BTW I never received a code to LOG into YouTube. I used "Snip & Sketch" as I have many many times before but now I open a photo to edit it and Microsoft has taken over my photos. I mean as far as my editing capabilities. I've tried all the "OPEN WITH" options but can not get to the basic photo editor. Need some help here... Thanks in advance Steve

I use 50+ Add-Ons on Firefox. I would like see all the Add-Ons I gave permission to work in Private Mode, all in one page. Is there a Settings page that shows all Add-On permissions to shown in one place?

So far I've been clicking on each Add-On, one by one. It becomes very tedious to manage them when you have no other choice.

I tried to connect to a website and I received the message in the subject. I have been connecting to that web site for months on Firefox with no trouble. I connected without problems using Firefox just yesterday. After the Firefox problem, I connected without problems to the same web address using Microsoft Edge. I don't understand why Firefox suddenly has this problem.

When I login with United Health Care and the information that I need will not show. It did previously. So I had to use Google to get into United Health Care. Should I uninstall then install Firefox?

Desired behaviour: In Chrome, I can paste or type an email address into the address bar, hit enter, and it Chrome will "Google" that email address.

Firefox behaviour: In Firefox, if I paste or type the email adderss "happy@gmail.com" in the address bar, it takes ages to do anything then says "You are about to log in to the site “gmail.com” with the username “happy”, but the web site does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you."

How do I stop it treating emails as a log in and simply search the email address? Thanks

This is a recent problem. This did not happen several months ago. I read that this is a preference but cannot find it anywhere. I use video download helper. Cannot find a preference there either. Thank you for helping.

Firefox keeps getting worse and doesn't work correctly on more and more websites. Every time Firefox fails I switch to a Chrome-based browser and the website works properly. Although not limited to handling of document downloads (banks, credit cards), printing a website's page (File, Print frequently results in a blank page, and/or missing text or images or both, whereas with a Chrome based browser the page prints properly 95% of the time) and possibly to pop-ups (which seem to be blocked without notice). This has been getting worse for many months. About 20-30% of the regular websites i visit are marked as "Chrome only" because they don't work fully with Firefox. These tend to be banks, credit card companies, online stores. I used to complain to companies that their websites don't work with Firefox, but its clear that they don't care, and I now realize that the real problem is that Firefox doesn't care. One website I spoke to (which wouldn't print in Firefox or Chrome) apologized for not setting the website up properly for printing. My guess is that many websites never test with Firefox because most of their customers use Chrome based browsers. For all its flaws, I would rather use Firefox than Chrome-based, but Firefox keeps making it harder to justify that view. When it comes to just looking at websites, Firefox is usually very good, but beyond basic viewing, Firefox is losing ground to most other browsers. I know there are no specifics here, and i think it unlikely anybody will take this seriously.
