I have a tracking app on macOS Monterey that is following me around

On Firefox settings I came cross some locations where I see Google Chrome like on page info about:home or Application Basics: Google Location Service Key and Google Safe browning Key. Also, on a link called Survey where there is Google forms to fill out. I don't use Google Chrome because of the issues Google Chrome creates when I go on my the websites. Why are these Google things in Firefox and is there a way to remove them?

I stupidly exported my Google browser bookmarks to Firefox when setting up on a new device and lost all my firefox bookmarks from all my other devices as a result. I am utterly horrified and freaking out - it's years of bookmarked articles that I'd even organised into folders! Is there any way to get them back?

I am using Firefox 105.0.1 on a Windows 11 computer. I have sufficient gpu and cpu power to run 4k videos in full screen with no choppiness or lag. However, when I exit full screen mode it seems as if frames are being skipped. I am using LocalCDN, Ublock Origin, and container tabs.

Is there any reason for this to be occuring?

Thanks

password listed in the saved logins is correct, but it does NOT export to the bank a/c correctly - it adds one more character, and since I can't "view" it there I don't know what it adds! when i copy and paste it from the saved logons page, it works - but the "automatic" entry onto the bank's sign-in page is not correct, and I can see it has one too many characters there.

It appears that the security settings and others were changed without any notification during a recent update. A login with card number and password were subsequently saved without my knowledge thus exposing my online banking accounts to possible unauthorized use. This should not happen and should be addressed.

I have a problem accessing articles in the New York Times web page. I have a Basic subscription and I am signed in. When I try to read an article, the New York Times site thinks I do not have a subscription and that I have used up all my free articles. If I use the Chrome browser, it works fine, but I do not want to use Chrome. I use FireFox for all my browsing. I have deleted cache and cookies. Tried the "Private Windows" too. I have logged out and back in. I have rebooted the machine (an Alienware 17 R5) and closed and opened Firefox. The "agents" I chatted with say this is a browser problem as everything is working fine on their side and it works in Chrome. Can anyone help me out?

Greetings...

Yesterday, my laptop was functioning without difficulty. Today, when I logged into Windows 10, instead of my usual profile/desktop appearing, a default profile/desktop appeared.

I performed a system restore using the most recent restore point (two days ago). The system restore completed successfully and upon restart and login, my usual profile/desktop appeared.

However, my installation of Firefox no longer completely exists. In the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox directory, many of the files that customarily exist no longer appear, including firefox.exe.

Most certainly, I do not want to lose any of my bookmarks, open tabs, or custom settings that I have established in my Firefox over many years of use. What would be the best way for me to restore Firefox on my laptop, while preserving all of my bookmarks, open tabs, custom settings, etc?

Would a simple reinstall of Firefox accomplish this task, without my losing any of my bookmarks, open tabs, custom settings, etc? Or, is there something else that I should do?

I would sincerely appreciate your feedback regarding this problem. Thank you!

I'm signed in on desktop and phone (they are synced), but I forgot my password, and I don't have a recovery key. I want to reset the password to avoid losing data, just to prevent. If I back up my desktop profile, then reset my password, will this backup be enough to recover all my data? Or is there something that it's stored just online/on cloud by firefox that won't be recovered?

Hello,

i have a problem with Rightmove.co.uk webpages. On the webpage where you can see house plans, I zoom into the plan, and the plan just cannot be moved anymore and zoomed as well. I entered Firefox in troubleshooting mode without any extensions enabled and the same issue happened still. I tested the Brave and Chrome, no problems there. I tested Firefox latest version and also the ESR version, both had the same issue. One of the webpage links is below that just freezes, but the same issue happens with all sites when you want to see house plans. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/125021075#/floorplan?activePlan=1&channel=RES_BUY Please help me.
