I installed DarkReader and tried it out. However didn't like the experience and removed it. Now some websites which were enabled by DarkReader are partially black (not dark not light). No matter what I try it is displayed like that. I tried: 1. Reset Firefox cache 2. Reboot the system

The webpage is loading fine in other browsers like Safari or chrome. Looks like Dark Reader messed up something and removing it didn't reset the state for these websites.

I have a Mac computer. I want to block Ad Choice. This site keeps sending me pornographic pop up ads. When I Xed out and chose the "ad is inappropriate", I not only continued getting the same ad, I get more like that ad. I find the ads offensive and have no idea why I'm getting that garbage on my computer.

Whenever I try to full screen a video the first time I open the browser, the video will not completely fill the screen. It only happens on firefox and the first time I open the browser. I thought it was my extensions but it was not that. A thread was created on reddit describing the problem I have. I have linked it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/rhwuvz/firefox_full_screen_on_win11_always_leaves_some/ I tried to change themes and that also did not work. Not sure what the problem is. Please help.

After several attempts, my Firefox shows "up to date" but the version still shows 101.0.0 after several attempts of closing Firefox and after waiting about an hour...it shows downloading update, but still shows version 101.0.1 (64 bit). I have it set to auto update, and this morning it said to click to update; it closed and never reopened until I clicked the icon in my task bar.

In a Win11 environ: The e-mail client I use for, essentially, junk mail is set up to open a new window for composing & reading e-mails. However, the windows are opening BEHIND my Taskbar which I've moved to the top of the screen (something Win11 doesn't officially offer [for some ungodly f!@$%ng reason]), so I'm using a workaround via my registry). The only way to close the new windows is to extend them out onto my 2nd monitor to which I usually extend my display to, so that the X can be clicked.

Is there something I can do about this? See pic. THX!

I've received notice via a class action suit settlement that my e-mail address was acquired in a data breach of Capital One / Amazon Cloud Services in March-July of 2019. I cannot find this on monitor.firefox.com - nor does Capital One appear in the comprehensive monitor list of all data breaches. Is there a way to alert firefox of this breach and/or why is this breach not appearing there? Thanks.

I'm trying to login into my gohighlevel.com account. They have a two step login process. First, Step username and password, second step code verification. When I get to the second step ad provide the code the page just stays on loading confirm verification button.

I don't know if this is a settings or privacy issue with Mozilla but i am stuck and frustrated because the process works on different devices.

i hope this is a browser issue and not my laptop issue.

I entered my password accidentally into the username field on a webmail page. It keeps showing several entries I made in the past every time I log in. How do I get rid of these entries? I searched the subject and all the suggestions of deleting it in the dropdown box with SHIFT+DELETE or CTRL+DELETE don't work.

I also use Vivaldi browser and I have the same issue when logging in to webmail. The list of usernames is different from Firefox so I know the lists are tied to the particular browser. I was able to delete the entire list with Vivaldi and I logged in to webmail and auto-fill list is gone. Can't do the same in Firefox. Please help.

Dear Community,

Can you help?

Suddenly, about two or three weeks ago, it ceased to be possible for me to copy images from websites and paste them into Skype to share.

What is the reason for this?

Is it because Microsoft have somehow blocked this function into Skype?

Does anybody know?

Thank you for your help and best wishes

I remember long ago on an ancient browser there was an option in the print dialog to print a table of the links on a web page. Very useful for a page which has a lot of in-line links but no 'references'-like list of them all at the end. This can painstakingly be done by copying and pasting from the source code, but... years later, do we really not have a better way, like we used to??

There are a couple car forums that have a thread called “Create a Quick Thread”. It appears near the top of the thread listings & is there for convenience.

However most times this thread is opened automatically when I access the forum & opens a text box which in turn I have to close. This started happening about a year ago & I thought it was a forum problem but no one else seems to have the problem. Not the end of the world but the box takes up the height of a full screen & is a PITA to keep closing something I never wanted opened.

I tried the MS Edge browser & a Chromebook & neither automatically opened that line so I’m presuming it’s a FF issue.

If I close out of the forum but keep FF open & go back into the forum, the Quick Thread does not automatically open. IOW FF must be remembering to not open it. I wish it always remembered not to open it. I cannot find any FF setting that would control this behavior.

Any suggestions on how to stop this thread from automatically opening?

The first image shows the line the thread is on.

The second image shows what I normally get greeted with.

Attached is a screen shot showing MS Edge (Bottom left), Chrome (Middle), and Firefox (Top RIght) As one will notice, the lower two has symbol on left side where as Firefox does not. It would be nice to have a symbol/Logo on the left site to make it easier to identify in a screen full of different browsers. It should be done for brand recognition. I use different browsers depending on what I need to do.
