OK this site is auto playing the local radio station https://www.npr.org/ here is what I have done about:config media.autoplay.default = 1 and in settings set to block audio BUT when I click on a link to a story and return to the page the sound starts playing FYI the links to the news stories do not need sound so what is not working here ? Some one made a change to something so lets fix it

I have not used tab groups until now. I have some groups in one profile that I want to move to a different profile. If I export the bookmarks from the first profile, will it include the tab groups that I want to move to the second profile?

For some time it has been a frequent problem with firefox not showing my bookmarks but today it has not even allowed me to restore them, when will this be fixed, I prefer not to use other browsers myself. The restore window is dead it seems.

on my pc I had no problem with Firefox. Have moved into a residential care home so have new, windows 11, laptop. Can't get the Firefox front page only opens via Google. Not used to having such difficulties but maybe at 86 I am slowing down

Using Facebook thru Firefox. On each article, dates under sender are just a long string of numbers and letters. I tested it under Edge and it is working as it should. Example: from/title - Walmart Finds Date - dsroeptnSouauuf15fec412m0501u7aa1pu5m0hndu6g1fog1lsiircgoSf5 ·

How do I get just a regular date or time as I was getting until this afternoon.

I began receiving this error message two days ago when attempting to play Zynga Farmville 2. Never had this issue before on my desktop. TYIA for a solution. fyi I used the website directly from the Zynga site and I tried the Farmville 2 Launcher

I've tried everything. Nothing seems to work.

The new Profiles menu option will not go away. I have no use for it, will never use it and I accidentally select it since they stuck it right next to bookmarks. Pretty poor decision.

If there is not way to remove it then after 30 years I will be dropping Firefox.

On the new tab page I have set for 4 rows of shortcuts. In the fourth row I have 3 open spaces for tiles/shortcuts. There is no way to add the tiles whereas there was previously a tile that would show that said "+add shortcut". Given I have room in the row to add 3 shortcuts, how do I add tiles to allow for added shortcuts?

I clicked on auto restore previous session about six months ago. The session I had open that day of about 20 (now completely irrelevant) tabs opens every time I open my browser. I have to close them all to start a new work day.

I found a work- around. If I go to History and clicking on Restore Previous Session within the History setting yhis took me to my last session. Now the browser is starting to add additional tabs I had open during that previous day. This is a nightmare - I never have a clear browser. How to stop this? I use my History. I don't want to delete History and clear all of the cache and the browser memory. I have put in a request for help before 2-3 months ago. That was the only suggestion. Some idiot invented this option. The same idiot needs to work out how to fix this bug. (apologies to the volunteers who read this - I appreciate your thoughts).

I'm running the latest Firefox here on my trusty old Intel Mac Pro on Big Sur. Keeps on truckin'. However, just now I looked and the Mac said it had "Rebooted because of a problem". All my open tabs came right back up in Firefox and my Search History is fine. But when I click on the Address Bar I no longer get the list of top sites that I often visit, NY Times, banking, social media, etc. Why would that suddenly just disappear, and how can I get it back?

Please guide me. Dailymotion stream not running on Firefox but works on Chrome. I uninstall firefox and reinstall it fresh but problem still exist. The player play for like 2 seconds and then screen turn blank. I am using Windows 11 and using latest firefox version. Thank You

I usually have three tabs pinned for easy access. Upon using the new "add tab to taskbar" feature though, there's a problem.

If I use the button to pop out youtube music for example and then close the version of the browser that it came from, and that my pinned tabs are on, any subsequent times I try to open firefox won't keep the tabs pinned. This also happens if I attach youtube music to my taskbar permanently and try to open it from there and then try to open firefox regularly.
