Many extensions don't work on support.mozilla.org.

For ex, Clippings and Unicodify – Text transformer are very useful to write text. It's annoying not to be able to use them to write in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird/form.

Seeing https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/tyytcy/how_to_get_rid_of_this_extension_restriction/i3vke2p/ :

1) Why is support.mozilla.org privileged and can pull out information about visitor's system, while connect.mozilla.org cannot?

2) I see that:

• Copy Link Text works,
• Unicodify – Text transformer is able to read selected text but not to write in forms,
• Clippings is not able to read selected text.

Is there a doc which explains what are the limits of what's allowed for extensions in "internal restricted sites"?

The Firefox Translations add-on has been discontinued and no longer works. As a foreign language learner, I found it very useful to open the Firefox Translations popup, enter some text, and have that text translated locally. Is there an alternative that has the same functionality?

I have 2 instances of Firefox: I use stable for all my professional work, and I use Developer Edition (Aurora Channel) for personal things. The stable branch works fine. In Aurora though, certain key combos will not work. This even persists in troubleshooting (safe) mode.

Specifically, it seems anything using both ctrl+alt will not register alt, only ctrl. alt, alt+shift, and ctrl+shift all seem to work fine, but ctrl+alt and ctrl+alt+shift do not. Again, this works fine in stable, so I am clueless as to why it doesn't work in my other instance.

Another detail is that this happens on multiple websites, not just one. The post prominent one is Google Sheets. In sheets, you can insert the date using `ctrl+;`, the time using `ctrl+shift+;`, and both using `ctrl+alt+shift+;`. Inserting them separately works fine, but both causes only one to insert.

Hello, My Firefox recently updated (it's now v. 138.0.1), and now I can't seem to create tab groups anymore. When I move one tab on top of another, nothing happens. What can I do to get this useful tool back? Thank you!

I have lost all my Firefox bookmarks, apparently because I inadvertently updated to a new version of Firefox. Of course, the online directions instruct me to click on links that do not come up when I follow the directions to access them. How do I get back my old Firefox bookmarks. Thanks for your help. In the top right corner of tab bar, a message of Finish Setup. In the pop up window all area's are check off green. I don't know what it wants and to locate page to Finish Setup

I thought the webcam was not working but in another browser like Google Chrome Internet Explorer, the webcam works in all other browsers.

After a Firefox update, my bookmarks menu, which was on the left side of the screen vanished. I have not been able to restore it. When I click the bookmark box (at the top of the page) I get three choices showing up on the upper left side of the screen. 1) Summarize , brainstorm, etc. 2) Tabs from other devices. and 3) History. So how do I get bookmarks???

Liebes Firefox-Team, ungefähr Mitte letzte Woche habe ich im Firefox-Browser 2 Tab-Gruppen erstellt. Aber nachdem ich den Browser wieder geschlossen und mir anschließend die aktuellste Firefox-Version heruntergeladen habe, waren die 2 Tab-Gruppen urplötzlich verschwunden und unauffindbar.

Jetzt hoffe ich ganz stark, dass Ihr weiterhelfen und mir hier sagen könnt, wo bei Firefox meine 2 Tab-Gruppen abgeblieben sind.
