Yesterday I was on Facebook when a dialog box popped up saying a picture of me had been posted and did I want to see the photo or dismiss. Clicked on dismiss which then sent me to a screen saying Apple had locked my account and I needed to contact Apple. Gave an 800 number not listed on Apple so I was not calling. The only way I could out message was to delete Firefox from my computer. When I restarted my computer and redownloaded Firefox I was taken back to the message saying my Facebook has been blocked. Is it possible Firefox has been hacked or is the problem on my computer. I have since moved to a different browser, and but would prefer to be able to go back to Firefox. Please help.

I love having the VPN Add-on on my Windows 11 laptop and now I see that there's a plug in for my Android Tablet, too.

I see there's options to turn OFF the VPN, but i don't need it on all the time. To save the data limit, I keep the VPN turned off.

There are some sites that I log into that require me to either not be from Australia amd some I need to be VPN linked to specific countries, like the UK or USA.

Will there be a place to be able to list particular websites to turn the VPN ON for, and, where needed, specify a country to connect to?

Whenever I click any link that will play a video in a video playing website such as YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, it will cause the entire tab to glitch out and freeze in on the page it was on before I clicked the link.. The entire tab completely freezes and never unfreezes itself, with the cursor having whatever appearance it had when the page froze, and being unable to click anything. The only thing it can do is type a new URL into the search bar, but the search button/enter bar is also ineffective, so I'm stuck on a frozen webpage unless I close the tab or change to another one. I've tried troubleshooting, fiddling with the autoplay setting and turning off extensions, none of which worked. Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I am using a MacBook Air M3 with 8GB of RAM. Due to my workflow, I heavily utilize multiple windows simultaneously across both Brave and Firefox. Unfortunately, this heavy usage has caused my CPU and RAM demand to go through the roof. After doing some research, I was advised to switch back to Safari as my default browser to conserve system resources, and to use other browsers only as secondary tools.

To make this transition work, I need to prevent Firefox from automatically launching every time I start up my laptop. I do not want Firefox to open until I explicitly choose to launch it myself. I have searched through every conceivable setting, option menu, and help file, but I cannot find a solution to this basic issue. If I cannot find a way to stop this auto-start behavior, I will be forced to uninstall Firefox altogether, which I would prefer to avoid. How can I definitively stop Firefox from opening automatically on system boot?

Thank you for your help.
